I recommend everyone to bring their kids here! The leaders are amazing, everyone is nice and everything is so organized. I bring my daughter to camp and soccer here. The teachers and counselors are all very organized and they inform the parent on everything that is going on. They also have financial help if you need it which is amazing because camp is very expensive.

My kids have enjoyed several classes offered by the center; Baby Ballet, Willow Glen Children’s Theatre, Art for Preschoolers, Tap/Ballet, Breakfast with Santa and some camps. My daugher also attends the wonderful recreational pre-school. The classes have been great value for money and thoroughly enjoyed by my girls. All the staff are friendly and very customer focused. My only frustration is that classes get cancelled as not enough people sign up so, smart people of the area, please discover this hidden gem, the facility and staff are really good! Thank you WGCC team!

This center used to treat seniors well. I had not been there in a while. At one time it was great but now… here is an example… I ate there for lunch on a day which was the«Birthday Day». This consisted of double table placed at one side(the head?) of the room with the«Birthday People» four of them, seated facing everyone else. After lunch, we were asked to sing happy Birthday to the Birthday seniors. Then each of the four was given a piece of cake while the rest of the room watched them eat it! Unreal! In most senior centers everyone gets a small piece of cake, not just four and certainly not set up at the head so that everyone else watches them eat it! How demeaning! Another time, I saw three hungry seniors turned away at the door because they did not make a reservation. On a different day, a senior was made to sit and watch other seniors eat until the Director found out if there was extra food for them. This made everyone feel shameful. Those eating while a hungry person sat next to them with nothing felt bad and the poor senior was humiliated! This center creates insider/outsider situations inwhich seniors are separated between those with food and those who are without. It has a very shameful atmosphere which I have never seen before. How very sad to see this in a center which once was a model center. Willow Glen is not a poor community. How can they trat their seniors this! If you value what is left of your self esteem, stay clear of this center.

I am having a lot of fun in Willow Glen’s Creative Writing class. As a senior, I’m working with a lot of other self-motivated writers. We write in class, read our work, give lots of feedback. We have been growing and developing our writing talents for a couple of years now. In 2010, we self-published a book, «Reflections of Ageless Muses.»

Love this neighborhood to pieces! I came here to sign up my two year old for some after school activities. They have many activities for people of all ages!!! From 2−70+ years old, there’s no reason not to come here. The office where you go to sign up had two very nice ladies. They were very courteous and were helpful.
