VTA – Convention Center Light Rail Station

Fast clean and easy to use, what more can you ask for in public transportation!

This is just like your other light rail stops. This stop is the one where people transfer from one train to another. Here the Santa Teres and Winchester trains meet. If you are planning on going to X-​mas in the park, this is the place where you want to get off. It’s convenient since its only a couple of steps away
This station had way more seating than the one on Santa Clara/​Paseo de San Antonio stop. Its usually pretty clean and maintained. I like that they have a long overhang which allows people to take cover during the rainy season.
The one thing I don’t like is that it is like 3 miles long,(exaggerating) but it is really long and you have to walk to one end of the platform to get in since the train is usually a max of two units.

I’m a little surprised at this station. Simply because I’ve found VTA to be head and shoulders above SF Muni.
So when I stopped into this station, or was forced to cross the street to get to it I might say I was a little taken aback that there only seemed to be one clipper tag on. One. There was a pole where there might have once existed a second, but beyond that pole, nothing.
Considering we were checked by the transit police I find that they’re lacking in clipper stations a bit hilarious.
This plus the inability to leave or get to the station by any actual crossing section thereby making it a bit dangerous to get to the station makes this locale a fail. Sorry convention. You do not in fact rock.
