Do not go to this place. They trick you into signing a three-year contract. Who signs up their kid for three years? Kids can lose interest especially if they’re very young. If I would have known it was a three-year contract instead of a month to month, I wouldn’t have signed up my son. Anyway my son started in mid July and had been going for about two months. Going onto the third month I tried to cancel the membership because my son started cross country and he didn’t have the time due to his practices after school. Plus I had medical issues and was going to have surgery and couldn’t take him. They would not allow it. So I’m stuck with paying money for sessions we cannot use. They just want your money. No trust or compassion. And they’re supposed to teach honor and respect? I don’t think so. I will report them to the Better Business Bureau.

My daughter has been enjoying Victory Martial Arts. The cost is roughly $ 150/month for 3 classes a week. I thought that was high until I learned about the program. My daughter has learned much discipline, self respect and honesty. I LOVE how the kids are encouraged to treat their parents and other adults with respect yes sir yes mam. Something children these days need. They also offer lots of fun parents night out for a small charge or no charge if you bring a friend on some of them. Each cycle has a life skill they teach, that alone is well worth it.

Terrible for Kick boxing! I bought a groupon offer for my daughter and myself but we were unable to even use it as there were almost no kickbox classes available through the summer. I checked with 3 Victory locations in the area. There were 5 classes a week offered at relatively the same time in each location. Two of the times were 8 – 9PM– UGG for working people who are finished for the night before that time. The other times were almost never available due to kids camps occurring at that time INSTEAD(they did offer for us to work out with all the 7 year olds at that time. yea right!). A BIGWASTEOF $ 100.

We have been attending the program for 1 ½ years. You have the option to sign up for 12 month or 36 month contract.(There may be a 24 month option, but I don’t know for sure). We pay $ 150 per month and my boy can attend up to 3 times a week if he wants to. Each class is around 50mins. Rates are subject to change and depend upon the type of contract you sign. Usually, we go twice per week. I agree with Tracy L, Carol P, and LM. It is a great program for athleticism and self-esteef building. In addition to the physical benefits of running, kicking, punching, shouting, sparing, striking; they have motiviational cycles that include«self-esteem», «communication», «honesty», «respect». They have an anti-bullying program, a leadership program. They give rewards in the form of uniform patches for straight A’s, good deeds /behavior outside of class. It’s a great program and the instructors seem to really care about the kids. With that said, the«upselling» can be exhausting. They are constantly pushing things you can buy like t-shirts and weapons and other stuff. They push extra events you can spend your money on like seminars, camps, private lessons, birthday parties. Also, the push their marketing efforts like bringing in other friends to class, visiting your childs school. Fees are not public information and there is an aspect of «pressure». This is not a non-profit organization. They are here to make money and they can be quite pushy about it. If you can ignore that aspect of it, it is a great program.

My son had been going to this school for 8 months and we love it. His confidence had greatly improved as well as his self discipline. It may seem a little pricey but WELL worth it. I am very impressed that they make every effort to insure that your child is ready each belt promotion. And the life skills he is learning priceless!

I just called this place to get a ballpark figure of what it would cost to send my 5 year old son there. I told him that I wanted to enroll him in a program where he could go twice a week for about an hour each session. He refused to give me a ballpark figure but instead offered a free«introductory» session and insisted that I come to review the programs they offered. I felt like I was talking to a used car sales men trying to hard sell me on a product. I understand that it’s a business and that they’re trying to make a profit. I don’t agree with not providing a potential customer with a price range of their services over the phone… especially for martial arts lessons for a 5 year old

I recently signed up my boys 5 and 3 years old. Because I signed up two for leadership the whole family has the option to go as well for free. My 5 year old hated the first class and barely got up there but now wants to do the tournament and is more willing to try new things. I know it’s because of this school and the motivation he gets from trying new things there and having so much fun from it. He is more willing to try things outside of the ma school now and he says yes ma’am to everything I say. It’s awesome and it’s only been 2 weeks. The purpose of this school is to help motivate school age kids. It’s not really meant for adults to work out unless you want to get your black belt or your a parent trying to motivate your child. My 3 year old has yet to get up there and follow instruction but he’s getting closer everyday. This school is great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

We have been coming her for about 3 years! The staff is very helpful and takes time to answer questions. They motivate and inspire your children! My son started and was quiet and not very social. After 3 years he is a black belt but a lot more than that! He is a strong leader, he has discipline, manners, respect! There is no other place I would rather have my son! Mr. Martinez and Mr. Indalos are great instructors! Every buisness needs to make $ to stay alive so they do sell but hey that is the buisness but the service they provide in the end(in my eyes and my husbands) is priceless! The kick boxing class is also offered more than one day a week and it is an amazing work out! Mr. Martinez knows how to kick your butt! With his help and training on my own I was able to pass the police departement fitness test with flying colors ;-)

We wanted a good cardio kickbox class to go to. That is what they offer: A: cardio kickbox class(after 8:00 pm one night a week) How long does that take to get in shape at one night a week? It read a lot better online, seeming like there are all sorts of active classes happening. By the way… they want you to give them an email address to avoid spammers when you want to look at a schedule online. So, you give them an email address and get directed to another page for the schedule BUT they require you to sign up and pay before you know the schedule. So if you don’t sign up online as I did, but drive over to check schedules during rush hour, you will find that it is all a hook without any benefit. Nice job guys of wasting my time. Great job of being slimey as well. Why don’t you give me your email address and I will give you my opinion(after you pay me! LOL) Oh wait… I am giving it free of charge here on Unilocal
