This company’s billing office is clueless !!! Service rendered in March 08 –approximately $ 115. I received a bill sent after the insurance had paid/​negoaited their portion — my responsibility was approximately $ 31.00, which was paid by Visa within 3 weeks of the billing.
Valley rebilled my insurance company 3 additional times and was informed each time that all were duplicate billings !!
I called & called — then called the collection agency in Santa Barbara — I sent copies of the paid bill and insurance forms — to no avail.
They busted my credit — which was 780 before !!! And now I have the hassle to TRY to remove from Equifax !!!
Stay away from this medical fiasco !!!

Protect your credit!
Do not go there! They have several locations, and they are all serviced by the same billing center. These people messed up my credit, big time. I have two insurances, they said they didn’t have the information for either one of them, even though they made copies of both my cards. They never billed me either, they said they had my address wrong. They sent my bill directly to collection. When collection contacted me (amazingly, they had no trouble with my address!), i offered to pay the full bill and deal with insurance myself, but they told me that they were going to bill my insurances directly, and they asked me to sent them copies of my insurance cards, which I did. I didn’t hear anything back from them, until I got a notice that this bill had appeared on my credit report. When I contacted them and ask them why they had not billed my insurance, the same lady said she never got the mail with my insurance information. They never billed either, and/​or didn’t call me to say they didn’t get that mail and had no insurance information. They said they had called, and left messages, but I never got anything. Now what are the chances: they didn’t have my address, phone number, or insurance information (while they had made copies of everything prior to providing service). Now to top everything off, they also charged me interest! The whole thing seemed like a scam, and everything was out of my control. I never even got a bill!
So, protect yourself and your credit, and don’t use their services. There are many other radiologies in the area that DO bill your insurance and don’t mess up your credit because of their lack of responsibility.
