I highly recommend Ignacio and his crew for your concrete needs, especially if you’re in the South Bay and interested in a water-​permeable surface (see details below). They did an amazing job handling our unusual hardscaping needs. For the estimate, Ignacio was on time, professional, and knowledgeable, and demonstrated attention to detail. We appreciated that he told us what he did and didn’t know, and what he did or didn’t want to take a gamble on.
The work they did for us was: demolition of an existing driveway and small walkway, grading of the lot, a new concrete patio/​work area, a series of embedded concrete pads for a front walk, and installation of a water-​permeable driveway surface, Rockpave. It was the first time Ignacio and his crew had installed this product, but they did an amazing job. I highly recommend Unique Concrete Creations and Rockpave, especially if you want to stop water runoff from your property (good for replenishing the aquifers, and good for the bay). Since Rockpave is still new in the U.S., we had last-​minute material delays and sporadic weather delays (well…that was our gamble for trying to install close to the rainy season). Ignacio was always responsive, and clear on when his guys would be available.
We also really lucked out with Ignacio because the Rockpave vendor didn’t have very many trained installers in the South Bay. We asked Ignacio to take a look at the Rockpave website and he said he was willing to try this. The concrete work he and his crew did was great, and the Rockpave together with the embedded concrete pads for the front walk looks amazing. I also have to say, their other work looks quite impressive: complex concrete projects that require attention to detail. Sometimes, I kind of wonder what his crew thought of our weird concrete needs (some flat, boring concrete pads, and then this crazy permeable gravel product), but we’re so very pleased with our driveway. Highly, highly recommend Unique Concrete Creations.

We were very impressed with Ignacio’s professionalism and his integrity. We were given a fair price for a lot of gravel and stones to be removed, along with a deck, and for quite a bit of concrete work to be done in our backyard. Ignacio said he could finish the work in two weeks, and they did. His brother Roberto and his crew were amazing, hard working and just nice people. But what surprised me most is how clean they were. After going through a remodel, you come to appreciate people that respect your home, and they impressed me daily with their ability to leave the street and my yard so clean. Ignacio was always helpful, on time and honest. It was a great experience, from start to finish and we would not hesitate to recommend Unique Concrete for any concrete construction work.

Estimate: Me and my husband after a long time of contemplating whether or not we should fix up our backyard I finally decided to give Unique Concrete a call. I called them on a Monday morning and they were at my house later that evening to give me a quote. Ignacio came out and was very nice and helpful, answering any questions I had. I must of asked thousand questions, :). After going over the options that I had, Ignacio sent me an estimate the next day. After comparing them to the other estimates and seeing that their price was right in the middle I decided to go with Unique. They were highly reviewed and I fell in love the quality of work of the projects on their website, plenty of pictures which is super helpful because I ran into lots of web pages with just words and I want to SEE what you can do not just read about it… So that was extremely comforting to me in the process.
During: Overall I was extremely impressed. Their crew was here bright and early everyday and were always so hard working, they even finished the project a little sooner than I expected. Everyday before they would leave they would make sure to tidy up, sweep the street, and lock up. Ignacio and Roberto were here everyday making sure the project was flowing smoothly and we always keeping me informed on the status of the project. They were always quick to address any concerns or questions that I had.
I would give Unique Concrete Creations an A++, overall very pleased with their work and excellent craftsmanship. I finally have the backyard that I always wanted. :)

Ignacio and his team built beautiful poured concrete benches in our backyard. They did a fantastic job. The crew was professional, hard working and extremely detail oriented. We couldn’t believe how smooth the concrete turned out.

Ignacio and his brother saves our job in Los Altos Hills. They do excellent work especially on hillsides. The workers are professional, on time and so hard working I was worried about them at times. This company takes care of everything, the city, the permits, the reviews, the gas line, the electric — the owner does not have to worry about the job quality. Our retaining walls are excellent and without being asked they put in drainage and piping for irrigation and electric so that set up near walls will be simple. The travertine patio has a poured foundation which is solid and cleanly done, the stairs are grouted with wonderful coping and our patio is elegant. All extra material orders and needs for change were brought up quickly and not performed or ordered without approval by us as owners. We are so happy to have found Unique Concrete Creations. My husband wanted to go cheaper at first which was a disaster, I called Ignacio and he was there in an hour to reverse my disaster and get the project back on track. Unique Concrete Creations saved our very large project.
