Best massage! I really liked that he incorporate a little stretching with the massage. I felt very calm and relaxed here. Chris was very professional. I’ve had a bad shoulder for the past year or so and hadn’t felt like it was getting better no matter what I did. Now I feel like my shoulder is getting better. Chris did an excellent job, very attentive to my preferences for pressure and overall comfort. I highly recommend TouchCare Massage.

I found Chris after doing some extensive computer research trying to find a masseuse near my house who seemed knowledgeable about what they were doing as well as reasonable in price. Thankfully, I happened across the reviews in Unilocal. So, I called and set up an appointment. Before the massage began, we sat down and discussed any problems or aches I was having as well as past medical history and injuries. He was very patient and gave me more than ample opportunity to ask any questions I might have had. The studio he has is very spacious and gives you a nice, quiet atmosphere to help you relax even more. I signed up for an initial 90 minute massage the night before I was taking off on a long weekend and I have to say it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had! I felt very relaxed with him. After the massage, we again sat down and candidly discussed how the massage went. He asked me if there were any particular sections that I would like to concentrate on more as well as asking how the pressure felt and if I could take more or if he needed to ease back a bit. I was more than impressed with the massage as well as with the professionalism he showed. I’m sure some people may feel a bit awkward going to a male masseuse but I assure you, he raised no concern in me at all in that department. I felt totally comfortable and at ease during the whole experience. He also followed up with an email to me about some other things I could do to help ease the pain in my shoulders ~ how sweet is that? I definitely will be making regular appointments to go see him and soon! Many thanks again Chris!

I found Christopher on Unilocal as some others have. I was a bit hesitant to get a massage since i am female and Christopher male obviously. When i brought this to his attention, he was quick to assure me that he was on the board of ethics and he understood my worry but assured me i was in safe hands. I had been to other massage spas within the past month since i have some shoulder problems but to no relief. It has been 5 days now since my massage and i feel GREAT! I had a 90 min. massage and i was literally drooling by the end of the massage! My shoulder pain is gone and Christopher was kind enough to do a follow up email to give me some tips on how to help aid my shoulder. I will definitely be going back soon! Thanks Christopher!

I highly recommend Chris if you’re looking to find a reliable and highly-skilled massage therapist. I’m telling you, this guy knows what he’s doing! I’m usually not a big fan of massages, being that most of the massueses that I’ve sought after either beat the crap out of my body or just did a very poor job. But i decided to give it another try after developing very bad posture and a sore upper back from my previous job. Chris did a phenomenal job at alleviating the tension in my neck and shoulders. I felt completely relaxed. Another bonus is that the massage is altered to your needs. Chris is great with taking input, and he takes the extra time on the more problematic areas that needs more attention. I also appreciate the fact that he takes the effort to keep you well informed on the areas that he will be working on. I’m also very pleased that he builds in stretching in his sessions as well. His prices are definitely reasonable and affordable! He even has a membership plan that makes getting massages on a regular basis more affordable. So whether you’re looking for pain relieving massage for just some time to yourself to relax I most definitely recommend Chris. Count on me coming back! =D

Definitely affordable! Chris put me at ease with a brief introduction of himself and asked me what areas he should focus on. Then he gave me an overview of what he’d do during my session, it seemed tailor made to what my aches were! Somebody get this guy a full spa and a dedicated staff, quick! I’d love to see him with a larger place and more visibility.

I found Chris on Unilocal too. He’s really knowledgeable about his work and he enjoys sharing his know-how. He talked me through beforehand what he was going to do during the massage and asked several times how I was doing, if I was cold, pressure, etc. Great attention to the client! He even did a post-massage run through too giving me suggestions on how I can reduce injury when I run. His converted garage is warm, clean and pleasantly aromatic. The soft music that he plays in the background makes it hard not to relax. He emphasizes breathing throughout the massage and asks you to take a couple of deep breath during some of the stretches or massage strokes and I could feel the tension melting away. He’s awesome and he even gives a discount for first time clients! For returnees there’s even a membership that you can take advantage of too. I’m definitely going to look into that.

I HATEMASSAGE! Or at least I did until I finally let Chris get his hands on me. So I do hair, which if you don’t know, does nothing good for your body. I have lower back issues from being bent over shampooing people for years, bursitis in my shoulders from blow-drying, and a myriad of other repetitive stress issues. Chris has been a client of mine for a few years and has always said I should try a massage to help with the stuff I’m always complaining about. Hating massage as I do I’ve always politely declined his voodoo rubbing advances, in my estimation massage therapy is akin to seeing a witch doctor for cancer treatment, I’m all about good old Vicodin when I have an ache. So two things happened to land me in Chris’s at home massage studio. #1 I woke up one morning unable to lift my left arm above my shoulder and when I went to the doctor she told me I should think about trying massage to alleviate some of the tension that was causing the lack of motion in my shoulder, this on it’s own wouldn’t have been enough. #2 the next day Chris was in for a haircut and saw me wincing while i was working and before he sat down he gently took hold of my shoulder and worked the giant knot that was bothering me and within a few minutes I felt like a new man, I scheduled an appointment right then and there. A few days later I find myself in his studio, in my skivies listening to ambient french jazz type music having the most relaxing experience of my life. One of the reasons I hate massage is the smarmy happy ending type vibe i get from most masseuses I’ve met, the other is that I CANNOT handle too much pressure and no matter how i explain this every masseuse tries to see if they can actually put a hand through my body and touch the table, I guess some people like that kinda S&M stuff but not for me I want a soothing calming massage. Chris gave me just that. He was really sensitive to my comfort and made sure i was cool the whole way through the process. By the time he was done I actually fell asleep, something that I’ve never done during a massage. All in all it was the best massage experience I’ve ever had and I’ll so be coming back! 0
