Tip Top Liquors

They’re the friendliest liquor store around. You’d think you were getting served aged porterhouse steaks. Their staff is friendly to the point where you question whether or not you’re in a liquor store. On top of that, they’ve got a great selection of beer. For a store it’s size, they have a better selection than Bevmo. Lost Brewing Co, North Coast Brewery, 805 Brew Co., Session beers, micro brews and a whole slew of domestic and international cervezas. As far as wine goes, I was shocked to see that they carry small lot wine. Don’t get me wrong, they carry the cheap stuff too. Just a little surprised to see that they carry Trilogy from Flora Springs.
They also carry a limited selection of chips, nuts, candy, toiletries, cigars and cigarettes, milk, eggs, tortillas, popcorn, ice cream and soft drinks.
Only open til 2 a.m., but why would you want to go to a liquor store after 2 a.m. I digress, next time you’re nearby, stop by and check them out. You won’t leave disappointed.

Great place in a gritty neighborhood. From the outside doesn’t look like much but they have a great selection of craft beers. I go in there maybe once or twice a month to buy Pliney the Elder (don’t tell anyone) and Kim, who usually works nights greets me by my first name. How does he remember? Kim is a great guy, always upbeat and can’t help but smile when shopping there. Not sure if he is family but great employee!

My favorite liquor store in San Jose. The guy who works nights is really nice he has became a good friend over the years. He gets alot of respect from the neighbors & customers. Prices are average, good selection of everything. Open till 2am everyday

Great place

Best beer selection I’ve found in the greater Bay Area. The best part is that Dave and Henry are helpful, friendly and super interested in making their customers happy! I’m thrilled they are walking distance from my new home.

Hidden behind a modest and a bit grimy exterior is a treasure trove for beer lovers. They have all my favorite beers. Ninkasi, Bear Republic, Russian River, Drakes, Rubicon, Firestone Walker and more.
Give Dave & Henry a try. You won’t be sorry. Open until 2am!

So my GF told me that this place just put a new sign saying that they now carry craft beers. Having been to this location previously, I was skeptical, but decided to check it out anyways. Went in and low and behold… great beer selection! I was able to leave with 8 bottles of Pliny the Elder!!! Don’t worry folks I left 2 for the rest of you. So go check it out and support your local mom and pop store!

cheap little liquor store with a BIG selection.
its within walking distance of my house so it gets stars just for conveinence alone.
they have top and bottom shelf booze however i usually have to stick to the bottom shelf bc lets face it if you have the money your better off at bevmo.
they have some more expensive beers in the back cooler and of course PORN for all you sickos because why not?
theres always colorful characters outside but they’re harmless, if you live in the area you’ve seen crazy mike in the jersey walking around this spot once or twice.
BONUS they’re open til 2am so you can pick up booze if your on your way to an awesome party or on your way home from a lame one.
