DONOTMOVEIN! DANGEROUS! From day one we had problems with the apartment. All our allergies were out of control, but the office insisted it was us, not the facility. The apartment was INFESTED with ants, and took two weeks and two exterminators to eradicate! We moved in this past August(2015) and we were ready to move out by September(2015) when one of our cars was stolen out of the gated community. When we informed the office that our car was stolen they told us how it can happen anywhere and has even happened to them. They seriously did nothing, we continued to pay for a 2nd parking spot we weren’t using! The primary maintenance guys are probably the only saving grace this place has, they called the security company to see if anyone reported anything. Nobody did. This is an awful community to live in. Your next door neighbors may have children running around at all hours, LOUDLY, and your neighbors below you will complain when you trip in your apartment and they hear a single loud noise. In addition, your neighbors throughout the large property will allow their dogs off leash and to poop wherever they please. There is a lot of dog poop to dodge throughout the property! Our trash disposer in the kitchen had broken and started to leak gross liquid everywhere under the sink. The regular maintenance guy came and repaired the trash disposer right away and said his colleague would come and repair the baseboard under the kitchen sink that was soaked from the leakage(it smelled awful!). Three weeks later his colleague arrived prepared to repair the bathroom sink instead of the kitchen sink, and a week later the regular maintenance guy came to fix the board under the sink. Sadly all they did was layer another piece of particle board on top of the rotting molding board full of gross old ground up sink bits and water. So I hope you don’t have asthma, this is a health hazard! If all of the above wasn’t enough to really push us out the door, it was the regular gun fire we heard at all hours and the gang markings across the street that really had us concerned for our safety in the end. We ended up moving out 1.5 months early and paid rent in two places, because it would have cost more to break out contract with Terra. I could go on with other problems with had throughout our short stay at Terra(4 months total), but at this point, I’ve spent more time on this review than this place is worth.

I moved out of Terra apartments(formerly Green Tree when I first moved in) the first week of September. I still have not received my deposit back from them. I sent numerous emails to Adrian(who is no longer their). I have spoken to Sandra(who informed me she was only a temp) three times. She took all my info on 3 separate occasions and informed me that the manager Adriana would call me back. I have not received a phone call from anyone. When I asked for the corporate number I was informed by the temp that she did not have it. Since I did not give a forwarding address they informed me that my deposit was sent to my last known address(them). If they had been checking Adrians emails they would have gotten the emails i sent him with my forwarding address. I asked them for a statement of all deductions made from my deposit and a copy of the canceled check they said they issued and to reissue me a new check. It has now been 90 days and I have not heard back from any one. Very BADBAD customer service if you ask me. They take your money but when its time to give it back they give you the run around. Save your money these apartment are over priced. The side gate to enter and exit broke at least 3 separate times while i lived there for the short period of 6 months. I also started seeing roaches after the 2nd month. GROSS!
