HORRIBLE! We’ve be coming here since it opened about 4⁄5 years ago. Right Now my husband is on his was to return the food we just bought for dinner due to fact they put queso Cotija instead of the regular cheese that is used to make the Pupusas. I absolutely Pupusas! My favorite is when they’re made with loroco, and If you can’t find traditional quesillo cheese, they’re AMAZING! If not you can use queso fresco, Monterey Jack, or even mozzarella. All of these taste fantastic. My daughter is half Salvadorian and we’ve had many kinds of Pupusas, but I’ve never had Pupusas that the only cheese put in was Cotija. NEVER! It taste TERRIBLE! Way too salty, we couldn’t even eat them. When we called to find out what happen, we were told«Well, that’s the cheese we’ve always used here.» Well I know for a fact THATS A LIE! because I have had them there many time with melted cheese, & by the by, on Unilocal there is a picture that’s shows(barely) but you can see that there is melted cheese in that Pupusa. I understand that S#!t happens and restaurants run out of stuff, but to start arguing with your customers about food they’ve eaten at your place and MANY other places and they were all made with quesillo or the like Not DRYSALTYCRUMBLY queso and saying to your customer«No, you’re wrong maybe you’ve never eaten them here.» Is BAD Business. Sorry we are returning you, you’re poorly made Pupusas and will not be eating here anymore. Buh, Bye!

Place is cool, if you’re craving/wanting pupusas, just order that here. Everything else was subpar. I ordered tacos, the tortillas came out cold, others in my group ordered shrimp cocktail that they mentioned wasn’t too great(not enough avocado and stale crackers). My first order of coke had some white thick substance on the inside of the cup, second order they opened the glass bottle of coke at our table so that was encouraging. Overall, it’s cool that they have karaōke and legit pupusas. So if that’s what you’re looking for this is the place.

I would give this place no starts if possible. This is the first and last time I go there, the service was bad and the waitress hardly knew the menu. The owners friends were there smoking right at the entrance and all of the smoke was going inside. I asked the staff to close the door cause I had my baby with me and she just nodded and went about her business, I ended closing the door. The food was horrible and cold. There’s karaōke but the dj was the one singing all of the songs, or he would let one person go up the he would sing the next couple of song then let the next person go. It pretty much seemed like a hang out for of the owners drunk, annoying perverted friends. I will NEVER go back.

I had stopped coming here long long ago because of their horrible service. Decided to give it a try again today and i still feel the same way. I recommend you don’t come hungry. Trust me you will be hungry by the time your food comes out.

I only write reviews when I receive Great customer service or really poor service. Unfortunately, I’ve eaten here before and the food was good but was over priced. They charged me $ 3.50 for«french fries» which was one measly little potato(I make homemade fries all the time). When I spoke to others who have eaten there they agreed about the price and the customer service could use some work. The other day I was at the laundry mat and my daughter wanted beans so I sent her next door to ask how much for a side of beans. She said it was $ 2.72(Don’t remember the last number) anyway, she demonstrated the size with her hands and it was ridiculous. I’ve always ordered a side of beans for my kids or myself and its never been that small.

Been to a few different Salvadorian restaurants and this one is actually one of a kind. Their food feel very authentic and delicious. Will be coming back again. Also they have karaōke live any can come up and sing so expected to be loud. Time to serve is about 5−10min for food to be serve. They have a few natural drinks that are very good if you enjoy sweet or tangy drinks.

Good Pupusas, definitely try their agua de Maracuya(passion fruit). Their horchata is the Salvadoran, so heads up the taste is a mix between Mexican horchata and chocolate. Service– very friendly, they tend to you as soon as you walk in the door and sit down. The wait is a bit on the longer side. We have waited from 30 to 60minutes for our food before. The rice, it’s hit or miss. I have had fresh rice but also hard, day old rice that was just reheated. Pupusas, love their revueltas, chicken and cheese, and loroco and cheese. They fill you up. I like them better then el Chalateco pupusas. I hate that people always go in trying to sell you stuff while you are at your table eating. They just walk in from the street and offer you stuff. I hate being interrupted while I eat, it’s rude. I know they have a need but wish they would be polite and at least wait outside the restaurant.

I had the sopa de pata it was very tasty. I wish it had yucca and platano. The pupusas are good, my kids love them. My bf loved the fajita dish. We will definitely come back. BTW it gets busy.

So we got there at 1:00pm and the place was pretty empty. The waitress was very rude and took forever to take our order. The only meat they had was asada and pollo and that was fine with me even though we wanted other stuff. She said they had no guac or horchata either… so meh whatever. After we ordered it took forever to get our food. The food was meh. My friend ordered a cheese quesadilla and she didn’t understand the no meat thing. He asked for avacados and beans on the side. She reluctantly said okay. After we ate she charged him $ 15 for just a cheese quesadilla, a small portion of avacodos, and some beans. The water was pretty good though. Salsa was aiiight.

Finding this place wasn’t hard at all, it’s a decent sized restaurant on the corner and they have their own parking lot. Service: the young lady upfront at the counter was nice, she attended to me as soon as I came through the door. We didn’t make any conversation besides the ordering part, but that was due to the language barrier. The food took approximately 45 – 50 minutes to come out, so I do recommend calling in to order beforehand. Food: I ordered papusas to go, a total of 6 — 3 beef and beans &3 pork and beans. They might look small, but they’re pretty filling. I only had two myself and that was enough to fill me up! If I were to describe it I would say it’s a mixture of a nan bread with Mexican meat in the middle. No complaints, they very delicious and I would highly recommend trying out this place if you haven’t already. Also, their green sauce is ! I love eating spicy and rarely do I ever find anything that gives me a nice kick like this sauce did. It would have been four stars had it not been for the really long wait for such a small order, but overall worth it. At least I know now for future purposes!

Poor service, prices suck, 3.81 for a small over sweet agua de Jamaica. Thus place can be so much better if it was clean and no flies around the food.

Food was good, but man service is super slow and rude. We had breakfast on a Sunday morning, and the music was sooo loud. We kept asking them to turn it down, but it just kept getting louder! Not worth coming back.

Food was good but nothing stood out. The service was okay. When I ordered for my young boys they did not have ham to make them the eggs with ham that I asked for(which IS on the menu). They brought something else they recommended and my kids barely are any of it. Will not be coming back here.

Cons: –no free chips and salsa –they didn’t have salvadorean horchata on a Saturday afternoon(2pm) –need quicker waitress service –party of 4. We all got our food at different times not all at once –asked for another drink and she ever brought it –sopa d pata was a bit salty Pros: –everything else we order was good. Yummy food!!!

Good and not too fatty pupuzas. Great horchata and other drinks. Customer services varies. Sometimes it’s really nice and fast. Sometimes it’s very slow and borderline rude. Overall a good place to try pupuzas

Food was good, but it took so long for us to get our food and we found a maggot in the napkins. Which indicates the place is dirty. I know for sure I won’t be coming here again. It’s sad because the food was actually good.

Oh man this place derrrrricious! Their pupusas are cooked to perfection, and their order of fried banana w/black beans is hefty. The wait is very very long, but worth every minute. Prices are about $ 1-$ 3 more per dish than I would expect for an establishment like this, but I enjoyed my food too much to walk out.

As recommended by a true Salvadorean, ahem born and raised in El Salvador, she highly recommended this quaint family owned restaurant. The owner quickly greeted us and was friendly. I didn’t even look at the menu and just trusted my friend to order. Yah, that’s not very manly of me, but she was craving those pupusas! So if you are looking for authentic Salvadorean food, I highly recommend this place as the food was excellent and everything was made fresh.
