My burrito came out bitter(arugula) and sweet(carne asada) never ate sweet carne asada before I thought they mixed it up with al pastor. Portions are huge plenty of rice, black beans and arugula.

Their Knockout Burrito is straight coma inducing! If you plan on getting ‘knocked out’ at work after bellying this burrito, I DAREYOU! double dog dare you. Comatose, forreals. This burrito is bigger than the size of your hand. It’s literally the size of a baby. It’s filled with all the good stuff(or bad, depending which angle you look at it), But HEY if you’re going to do wrong, you better do wrong RIGHT. And this burrito sufficiently hits all target criteria. Imagine all sorts of random meats mixed into a burrito with rice, fries, and egg, sauce, and god knows what else! Gut bomb for sure. This is a meal in itself and would be fantastic after a night out on the town, but be sure to be prepared after scarfing this burrito because it’ll put you in a lazy funk right after. I made the deadly mistake of eating one at lunch and had to put work on hold because my brain wasn’t fully functioning. I was literally in a state of coma. Luckily this meal kept me full throughout the remainder of the day and even the next! My work paid for this meal but if I were to pay for this myself it would be well worth it because I’d be pregnant with a baby burrito for a whole week.

The food truck came to my work so I decided to give this a try for lunch. I had the Knockout Burrito based on the recommendations that I read here on Unilocal. It was good with some good flavors in it. The fries and egg are a good touch and make the burrito pretty filling. Based on the reviews I added the Chipotle Sriracha sauce, and it was a very god decision as it enhanced the taste a lot. I did not find the burrito very spicy as others noted. Decent option for lunch of they are around.

I ordered 1 ‘El Beef Tako’ for $ 3. The taco was topped with a lot of arugula but underneath all the leafy greens was a whole lot of beef. The meat was good, but it contained a lot of fatty pieces which I am not a fan of. I was given a piece of lime which was dry and contained no juice; served no purpose. I did, however, appreciate the guy who told me there was no salsa on my taco and offered some sauce/salse suggestions. I took a side of their creamy chipotle sauce which was mild, not spicy at all. It definitely added some flavor to the taco. Overall, it was a small ‘tako’ that filled me up, nothing special– I may try other things on the menu someday.

One of the best veg burrito was surprised to see spinach/arugula type leafs — you cant get that even at chipotle. Portion is pretty good too.

8÷25÷15(update): They had a new special item today! 1. Mole Fries with Asada $ 8: This was their special for the day, and it was so new it wasn’t even written on their menu!, ha ha. I know poutines are all the rage right now with trucks, but this was different – haven’t seen a mole poutine yet. Cool. So, the mole sauce is not bad – I’m not expert by any means, so I can’t say if it’s the most authentic or anything, but it tastes like what I would expect and is nice and thick, which is great for fries so it doesn’t all fall through to the bottom. The asada is their usual – decent but nothing particularly special. The fries unfortunately kinda suck. They’re flavorless and are not fried very well either. Definitely can use more time in the oil. The whole thing looks great though since they also drizzle sour cream and white cheese on top. It’s very large too, so not too bad for $ 8. Anyway, I think if the fries were better I’d like it more. +1 for ingenuity. 6⁄10. 2. El Beef Tako $ 3: A little different than your typical street taco. You got the 2 pieces of corn tortilla and of course the asada. But they also add grilled corn and tons of arugula. I’m totally not a fan of the arugula cause I don’t typically like salad tacos, but I guess some healthier types might disagree. Anyway, overall it’s alright. 5⁄10. 3. Red Salsa(forgot the written name): So, they got 4 different sauces, but I just want to say here that the dark red one, whatever it’s called, is really good. Good flavor and some kick there too. Anyway, there you go. 8⁄10. Love that they keep coming up with new ideas. 4⁄5 #truck #mexican #poutine #mole #taco

I had the pork quesadilla at the Cupertino location Tuesday night. Along with the quesadilla, I had the side salad that came with the entrée and the homemade mango sauce. That night, I got sick with food poisoning. I don’t know what else could have caused the sickness, I was fine up until I ate the food.

Okay but not the best. I ordered the«knockout burrito» which was stuffed with carne asada, pastor, pollo, black beans, rice, and french fries. My son loved it and I was,“meh.“ I wouldn’t call myself a burrito expert, but I know that his burrito was no match for a standard San Jose burrito that can be bought at any mercado. Here’s a hint to all food trucks that serve burrito’s in San Jose: 1. You need to being it 2. Read number 1 My son gives them a perfect five out of five. I give them a two. So the final verdict is that they are a three star mexican food truck.

We had then come out to Tesla last night. Exciting since we usually eat out around the area. First thing I tried was their La Torta which had beef, mayo, cheese, avocado and chipotle sauces, and arugula mix and it was amazing! The best part is they toasted the buns which nobody does anymore. I pour some Spicy Mango sauce on it and it was even better! Their QueZadilla was also delicious. They also made Carne Asada Fries which are a little different from the So. Cal version, but still equally delicious. Can’t wait until they are back next Friday!

Having lived in Portland, food cart central, I was really pleased with this food truck! Everything looked good but I went with the Nacho Libre fries with Carne Asada. Super flavorful, the different sauces give really good heat! Carne Asada was delicious and cooked pretty well. I wish there was more cheese vs nacho cheese sauce but it still worked. Could do without the carrots, that was an odd touch. service was pretty quick too considering there was a little line. Overall really good food for good value and when it comes to food trucks, that’s what matters!

I had these guys come out to our company and they were amazing! First, they were very accommodating to our vegetarians and vegans :) They provided a full menu and the food was great, along with nice portions. Most importantly, their customer service was the best. I have dealt with so many food truck owners and managers and these guys by far provided the best overall service :) My fav was the mahi mahi tacos with the crazy fries! Very good.

Always great service!!! Good al pastor tacos and knockout burrito was bomb. The burrito had beef, chicken, pork, French fries, black beans, rice, and awesome spicy mango sauce was on point. I wouldn’t have had the burrito til the gentleman gave it to me on the house. I’m coming back for it next week at the blossom hill vta station. Thank you!

FIRSTTIMEEVERINUNIVERSITYCIRCLE — PA Just picked up the an Adobe Tako, queZAdilla and kids burrito. The person who took the orders gave me a different price than what was listed for the burrito(listed $ 5) charged me $ 6 saying the meat was ‘extra’. I questioned the cost as it was NOTLISTED but paid the extra $ 1. The man who was taking orders was NOTATALLPERSONABLE and borderline rude! Once my meal was ready the ‘order taker’ simply left my tako out on a flimsy container(not wrapped or inside a box even though CLEARLY saw the man who was prepping the food place all the other takos he prepped inside a box to keep warm and make it easy to carry. THEFOOD: The adobo chicken is waaay too spicy and not very flavorful at all. Not a warning about the spice nor even an indicator that the food is spicy. The burrito is dry, gummy. Definitely not going back.

Woohoo Moveable Feast is now doing lunch on Tuesdays in Sunnyvale! I’ve been out of the food truck loop for awhile and so I wanted to check out TaKoz. I ordered the carne asada buritto for $ 9 and it was just not my cup of tea. It was a pretty standard & safe order but I felt like the carne asada was kinda weird? It was kinda mushy and didn’t taste like carne asada to me. I applaud them for trying something different by adding the avocado sauces and arugula mix in the burrito, but I was not a fan of the mix/slaw inside the burrito. Some of the pieces were too big, bitter and added unwelcomed texture to my burrito. Nothing was really memorable and the spanish rice(i love spanish rice) was a little lackluster. Not worth it for the price in IMO. Perhaps carne asada is not their«thing» and other meats were, my coworker got two al pastor tacos and she really liked them. The guy who took my order was really nice & friendly though! If you try them out, I’d say get another type of meat. Seems like the good reviews are for chicken and others.

Saw this awesome truck with great graphics at Movable Feasts, since my brother and I were looking for purely Mexican styled food versus Mexican Asian fusion we decided to try TaKoz out. Since we ordered many other things at the truck meet, we decided to go with their beef El TaKo and a Coca Cola. It’s the name of the truck so why not? The beef taco came out on corn tortillas, beef, corn, lettuce and a wedge of lime. I doused it with their chipotle sauce. I thought the marinade for the beef was on the sweeter side and the lime definitely accented the taco, the beef was also really tender. I thought the corn was a bit strange as it seemed more like a southwest signature, but I suppose that’s what the«Mod» part of their taco is. From the looks of their orders looks like their«takoz» are a hit, but I think I still prefer either authentic or Mexican Asian fusion.
