My family rented a home in Fremont for 4 years that was managed by Sunshine Investment. We were so glad that we went through a management company because the homeowner we were renting from was just awful. The homeowner tried to do all of the home repairs himself and he was totally clueless and often made the problems worse. When our furnace was broken down, the homeowner insisted he could repair it himself, but Jimmy Wu stepped in and really saved us and got us a brand new furnace installed because the one we had was a total safety risk. Also, when we were moving out, the homeowner came up with all of these ridiculous damage charges. He was so clueless about tenant rights and thought he could charge us for everything. But again, Jimmy Wu stepped in and he got us our entire security deposit back. He was a total lifesaver and a great example of why renting through a management company is a smart choice because some homeowners are so clueless when it comes to renting out their homes.
