Sterling City

These ppl deserve a zero star. They know nothing about jewelry an are rip off. The guy was rude last but not least!

I tried to have some glasses engraved here as a wedding gift. When I droppped off the glasses, I was clear about the delivery date. I called them up the day I was supposed to pick them up and they said were waiting for a response from me regarding a font choice. I never got a call or e-​mail from them. Since I had to fly to Cabo the next day for the wedding, I cancelled the order and asked to pick them up. It turns out the glasses were at a different store! Furthermore they refused to refund my money for the set up fee. So it cost me to have zero service performed and a whole lot of frustration and running around. I’m sorry I ever took my business here.

After looking in the phone book for a place that does custom engraving for a Reed and Barton bank I have, I found Sterling City. It’s safe to say I wish I hadn’t. When I got there, a large sign above the door confirmed they did engraving, however the young girl behind the counter told me it wouldn’t be advisable because the process would take too long. I told her I would bring my item to the other Sterling City at the mall and she told me they probably wouldn’t have time to do it either. She said it would take at least two weeks and showed no interest in helping me at all. This wasted my entire afternoon and I will not be going back.

Awesome staff, great service. Prices are on the high side, but if you need something fast, this is a great place. Selection is very good even though store is small.

How do you describe Sterling City? It’s not a jewelry shop. While they do sell **some** jewelry & watches… that’s not all they sell or do.

They’re basically like Things Remembered… but not as fancy. Anyways… I went to them today to get a license plate frame holder engraved. These places are hard to find. There used to be a cart at Valley Fair but they shut down. The guy who has the cart in the not-​so-​Great Mall *doesn’t* actually engrave but told me he uses stickers. STICKERS??? Mmmm, no… I passed.
So I discovered Sterling City from walking by & tried them out. The owner was very nice. He asked when I wanted to p/​u the frame & I told him within an hour. He said he had 2 customers ahead of me but that he’d get started right after that & to check back in one hour. I went back in only ½ an hour (I was itching to leave the mall) and he was done :-). Score! It came out perfect & wasn’t overpriced…$ 23 with tax for black metal frame with black plaque for engraving. Great deal, great service :-).

I like to change my watch almost every day so I have several
watches. But the problem is that my two or three watches stop
at the same time.
I was looking for a shop to change battery for my watches.
This place is not a watch shop, actually it’s Jewry shop
but they change batteries.
When you change 6 of your battery, you’ll get one free!
