I rented a 5×5 storage unit when moving from St Louis to the Bay Area. Mike and Katie, the resident managers, were both fantastic and very helpful in answering every question I had. Great rates as others mentioned. I always favor small, locally owned businesses over corporate chains, and Snell Mini Storage is certainly no exception. Highly recommended!

I moved my stuff from Bay Area Self Storage to here. Katie and MIke are the managers, and they both are always very helpful. This facility has been updated and is probably one of the safest places to store your things. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing reasonable priced storage in the San Jose area. — Patricia B.

New managers have made this place great! What a difference. They really seem to care about keeping my things safe. Rates are competative as well. Place is clean.

I had my belongings with Snell Mini Storage for several years. I went there last year to check on a few things after not having been by since I had loaded it. The location of my storage unit was in the apparent route of a wind tunnel and tons of dirt had made its way under the door. EVERYTHING on the outer side of my belongings were covered by dirt and leaves and webs, etc. I had told the gentleman working there. He didn’t seem very concerned and said he would tell someone about it, but we were in a unit where they had this problem. He indicated that maybe I did not shut it all the way therefore it was worse. The thing is, you can’t close it more or less, it just shuts. No one ever got back to me so I thought they had done something about the situation. Well, last month I went to take my belongings out. I have to say that if I had left my stuff out in the weather for a year, they may have been in better condition. So many things were just ruined and thick with dust. I also left a long note to the owners, and up until now, no one had even contacted me to address my problem. If an establishment knows of a wind tunnel problem, and they don’t do anything about it, maybe put special barriers in that area, I think that is wrong and they don’t think of anyone but getting their money monthly. Half of my unit’s contents needed to be dumped and it was a 10×10 filled to the top… I lost a lot.
