Minus a star because waiting in line is the longest ever. Never see more than one or two cashiers even at the business times. I’ve left to shop at target for ground beef once it takes so long. Minus another for playing sappy Kpop.

I’m a big shopper at Smart and Final stores but this store has really bad service! I came in to buy in bulk as I always do and there were no carts in the area where they normally are stored. I brought it up to a associate and instead of collecting them he grabbed a store manager who are extremely rude. So disappointing!

I’m not a big fan of Smart & Final in general, but this particular location seems to be less adequate then other locations I’ve visited in the past. I only shopped here when I was new to the area, and didn’t really know my way around town yet. Now that I’ve taken the time to explore the area a little more, and have found WAY better grocery stores, I can safely say I probably won’t be back here. My problem with Smart & Final in general is that 1. The produce is disgusting. I’ve found mold on vegetables and fruit at every location more times than I can count. 2. The aisles are too narrow, and it’s a pain trying to get to that one item you need(while pushing a shopping cart) when somebody is posting up in the middle of the damn aisle(with their cart blocking the path) going over the nutritional facts of EVERY brand of cereal on aisle 4. And 3. the selection just isn’t that great. Nothing is more annoying than having to make an additional stop at Walgreens or CVS just because Smart & Final decided that stocking only the cheapest and most toxic toiletry items was sufficient for it’s customers. However, at most Smart & Final locations I’ve ended up at, the service was alright. Nothing above and beyond, but decent enough. At this location though? The service straight up sucks. I’ve had clerks here just push my items off to the side after they’ve been scanned and proceed to help the next customer without even having the decency to ask me if I needed a bag. Do you think I’m just going to scoop up like 14 items with my hands and carry it out of your store like a sack of potatoes? As the saying goes, common sense isn’t that common. The clerks here also got kind of an attitude. Consider yourself lucky if you’re even greeted when you are ready to check out. And God forbid you ask them to bag the rest of your groceries. If you do, you be treated to this particular location’s world famous dirty look from the employee, and having your recently purchased food randomly thrown into one bag and tossed to the side. I just can’t tell you how much I LOVE it when the clerk puts all my lighter items at the bottom of the bag, and puts the heavy items on top. Thanks, bro. So I put up with this crappy store for a few months before I decided enough is enough. Fortunately, I found a Safeway nearby that puts this place to shame, and actually treats their customers like human beings. Sure, it might be a little bit more expensive at Safeway, but I’ll gladly pay a little more for better quality, better selection, and competent service.

Blueberries had mold the next day and pineapples had ants. Never wasting my money here again. You’re better off going to Target which is in the same plaza. I should’ve taken pictures but it was so disgusting that I just threw it away immediately.

Smart & Final couldn’t be my regular grocery store. It’s too far away. There aren’t any that I’ve seen close to home but it’s close to an area where I go frequently. It’s also in the same shopping center as Target. As you can see from my photo, I was amazed at the huge bag of tortilla chips – 56 ounces of tortilla chips is pretty amazing, even for a party, that is a lot. I was just there a little while ago to get them to see if they’re good. At $ 4.99, that’s as huge as the bag is. The aisles are clear and the prices seem fair but you know, nothing in any store is truly cheap. I was there around 8:30 and they seemed tired and ready to close.

I don’t have alot to say rather than the food sold here is cheap. By cheap I mean inexpensive and also that is is of cheap quality. However this is not Trader Joe’s or Wholefoods. People know this and come here for the prices not the best quality in produce. The cashiers here are a tad rude and seem to have this aggressive demeanor. It almost makes me scared to ask questions.

This is actually the first time I’ve ever been to a Smart and Final. My experience was decent, so I am not sure why this place has such low ratings. The location is okay and it’s in a plaza with many other stores and restaurants. I am not from the area so I didn’t have much feel for it. I came here because it was the closest branch to where I was. My friends and I needed to check on some prices for some items for a school event and fundraiser. The store itself seemed very clean and organized. We were able to find the things we were looking for. It wasn’t complicated either. We went in, look at the signs, and went straight to the isles that had the items we were looking for. Overall, my experience here was good and I didn’t have any trouble finding what I needed. Prices are affordable and it’s great for parties since they have wholesale items, like party cups, plates, utensils, and more! I’ll probably be coming back for some supplies!

Not sure why this smart and final got such bad reviews. My experience was just fine. Huge store, nice and clean, had a few workers come up to me and ask if I needed help. Lines weren’t long and I was checked out fairly quick, this was on a weekend as well. Neat place with lots of stuff! Great if you’re planning a party or camping trip/outting, this will be my next one stop shop for my social gathering needs.

I went to this place last week. This place full of things that I needed. Price is good but service is not helpful at all. I was looking for something and ask for help but one of the lady not very nice to help at all. So I very disappointed and looked for different person, she was nice and help me. Thank

I was hoping that this new branch would be better than the branch on Hillsdale about keeping sale items in stock. Wrong — eggs on sale were all gone this Fri morning at 9am, next delivery«maybe» Sat afternoon. No rain check or substitute offered(I didn’t ask, but I shouldn’t have to). I stopped bothering with the Hillsdale branch for this reason & this new branch seems to be equally useless. This pattern reeks of «bait & switch», whether they’re trying to cheat or are merely inept.

Finally! I like Smart and Final a lot since it’s a great alternative to Costco. I’m happy that they finally have one that’s literally a few minutes from me. Now I can stock on those home foodies with ease. They have pretty decent prices here, so that’s a plus. It was PRETTYCROWDED when I came here on the weekend so that’s a downside. But yay! for smart and final!
