I showed picture of hair style that I wanted.
The end result was completely opposite.
Even if she is not familiar with the style, at least she could STOP cutting at the right hair length. She DIDN’T!

Very nice owner. They do a good job hair. and the new eyelash extension is so perfect. They do good job too. I high recommend. The new set regular eyelash extension only $ 80. Before is $ 129. So coming coming.

I read the reviews on Unilocal about this salon’s Japanese straightening service. The reviews were quite bad so I decided not to come. Then, I read it on the Groupon again. So I decided to call and go to check it out myself.
Well, the bad reviews WERE NOT true. Don’t believe the bad reviews.
I got very great service and professional cut.
The owner honored the same deals as Groupon because I need my hair done urgently but I just walked in without scheduling an appointment. She provided me very good service. She genuinely cared about my hair condition. She constantly checked the status and trimmed off my damaged hair that was due to my old chemical highlight. She made sure she did not clip too deep into the hair roots and washed my hair very clean.
It was very easy to find parking lots. I will definitely come back and recommend my family and friends to come to this hidden germ salon.

My wife just got her Japanese hair straightening done, here is a picture of her hair. She loves it. This is her third straightening with Simply Gorgeous, and it is amazing. Leslie used Yuko Japanese hair product and it is a good product. In 3 hrs, the long hair was straightened and its soft and lustrous. We love her work, services.

Terrible results and terrible service.
I went here to get a japanese hair straightening treatment. Worst decision I made for my hair. Now, I’m a very patient and forgiving person. As long as the hair looks good, I could almost forgive any level of service good or bad. Unfortunately both were not even close to being satisfactory.
Making an appointment already proved difficult as I called multiple times and got no answer. But no big deal, I can just go to the salon and set one up in person since it wasn’t too far from me.
Fast forward to my appointment time, the owner completely forgot my appointment and end up booking more appointments than planned. She ended up having to juggle 3 people at once. I thought no biggie, as long as she does a good job with my hair I could care less about having to deal with multiple intervals of waiting around. I tried to reassure her that I didn’t mind waiting so she wouldn’t rush through things. But my biggest problem with the whole ordeal was that she never owned up to her mistake and recognized she was making me wait so much. I ended up waiting an additional 3 hours than I was suppose to, and she kept repeating to me that it was the hair straightening process and was suppose to be that long (which clearly was not).
ALL of that would have been forgive if my hair didn’t turn out a disaster. My hair was SEVERELY damaged. My hair started to break and fall out!!! On top of that (if that didn’t make things bad already) ALL of my hair were left with a TERRIBLY NOTICEABLE crease mark. Basically, you can COMPLETELY tell which part of my hair had the straightening treatment and where the new hair started. For months it looked like my head had corners…
Never again!!!

I had my HOT OIL TREATMENT with Leslie last night! She scheduled me right away! She is very wonderful… My hair is dry… and after the treatment my hair becomes so soft and shinny. I Love it! Great Deal, too!

Do NOT go to this place for Japanese hair straightening treatments she uses very low quality products that DONT WORK! She was extremely fast and harsh with my hair I was out of there within 3 hours. After waiting an excruciating not 3 but 4 days to wash my hair I was utterly disappointed with the results (hair was still curly) I called Leslie to complain and she offered me to have it redone but no way I’m going to let her burn off anymore hair then she already has burned. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I got my son’s hair cut from Leslie and have had Japanese straightening done. I like the hair cut for my son and my hair, and my straightening was good.

Just got my second Japaneses hair straightening. Made my thin fizzy hair look thicker. That is actually why I do it. The hairdresser had patience too. She wasnt in a hurry. Great prices and very nice. I would recommend her. Thanks again. It is rare to find someone who cares. Very good prices also. Forget the $ 500 straighteners! This place is so reasonable.

To say the least, I am more than pleased with the results as well as the experience in itself. Leslie permed my butt-​length hair for less than what most salons charge for shoulder length. She was attentive and receptive to what I wanted. I was reassured because I felt as if my desires were being listened to.
Some background: Japanese straightening takes 3 – 4 hours. It’s a long, tiring process for both the artist and client and requires a lot of labor. I expected to feel bored and for my artist to be tired (because she really isn’t making much from me at all considering the deal she gave me) but I ended up having more than a great time. I came in with low spirits, but Leslie continually made conversation with me. It wasn’t her job to entertain me, but she really went out of her way to provide an excellent experience. The time went by so much quicker. As for the results, I’ll put up pictures and you can see for yourself. This woman aspires to do work that any artist would take pride in. I don’t think I could have expected or asked for better. This is someone who cares about both her work and the customer. I will return to give her more business.

I have had a good experience here since the first time I came. Lesley is patient, listens to what you want and it is obvious she wants her customers to leave happy. She accommodates everyone as soon as she can and handles things well. Her products are high quality and everything she uses is very clean and fresh. Great place-​I recommend it. Lesley also has a helper on the weekends who I would recommend also. Lesley found a gem when she found Fati to join her. Thank you.

Got the groupon deal and went their for hair straightening.
She used low quality products and burnt my hair.
For about three weeks, my hair was falling off and it was because of the burning result. I am like a cancer patient, the hair had been falling for a month.
I don’t recommend this store to anyone.

I am so pissed, my hair is falling off and thinning from the roots after the Japanese hair straightening. When I called the owner refuses to take a call or do anything. such a bad service. I will not recommend this place.

Leslie has her friends posting good reviews on her site. She is horrible and unprofessional and I will s3 her in court mark my words. Leslie will not be allowed to ruin people’s lives anymore.

Japanese Hair Straightening: Horrible experience. Leslie Wu is not professional at all. I got this done one and a half weeks back (I did wait before ranting out my experience). I have experienced bad hair fall since then and my hair looks like it had not been straightened. I had naturally straight hair and wavy at the ends. It looks the same even after treatment and feels 10 times more unhealthy and brittle than before. I remember asking her the products that she would be using on my hair for the Japanese Hair Straightening and she said Yuko, but never did she show these products to me. Unlike most salons who have their products displayed, she doesn’t have any displayed. Usually salons show the products and tell you what the procedure is going to be before starting a procedure as elaborate as this. But do not expect this professional ethics from Leslie. If you understand what she speaks, that would be good enough. PHEW! She took me for a hair wash, doesn’t check if the water is too hot for the client’s comfort, only after I told her she reduced the water temperature.
Who in the right minds applies the cream on the SCALP??? For heaven’s sake isn’t that rule # 1 that you shouldn’t apply this or any cream used for the straightening treatment on the scalp? She like a painter used my friend’s and my head like a canvas to paint with the cream all over the scalp. This I believe has made the roots of my hair razor sharp and poky. That also explains the extreme hair fall I am experiencing now.
I will never go back to this Salon. And I made it a point to post this review so that no one else does to. Please beware. Really unprofessional work. I got a group on coupon for $ 99 for this salon and when I called in to book an appointment. Leslie told me that I shouldn’t buy this coupon instead she would do it for the same price without the coupon. So I thought if that helps Leslie earn a little more by saving on the commission for Group so be it. But this treatment (by Leslie) is not money’s worth. It spoils your hair totally. She did my friends and mine in 4.5 hours. That is super fast I know and that explains the horrible feeling hair. My friend had the same experience. Good Luck to your already sinking reputation Leslie.
We paid her $ 10 tip each and I regret the whole experience.
P.S: I wish I could sue her but she has been known to call cops and stuff, which tells me that she has already messed up with a lot of people and hence I would like to stay away from further trouble.

I had Japanese hair straightening at Simply Gorgeous. Great result! I have puffy hair, so Leslie really took the time to make sure that my hair look the way I wanted it. I was really satisfied with how it looked! Great hair product. Leslie provides really good service and price. I would definitely come back.

Leslie did a Japanese straightening for my wife with cheap products and old equipment, she pushed my wife to get a haircut before the treatment (wonder why… maybe she wanted to use less product) and did a horrible job with the haircut. Looks like she just grabbed it and put the scissors through with one swing, it’s a straight horizontal line with no shape at all. If you’re looking to get a nice Japanese straightening treatment, spend a little more and go somewhere else, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

I went into this hair salon late to my appointment for 1:30, that I had made only 2 hours prior. I had no idea that it was near De Anza because I would’ve just taken that exit off I-​280 N than going the way my GPS lead me.
Excellent service. My hair going into that salon was the uttermost catastrophe and I trust her to just do magic on my hair. I knew that my hair was hard to manage since it had burnt ends and uneven layers without a definite style. She gave me a cute pixie cut to reflect my healthy roots and add some quick volume. I’ve never had hair that short but I’m happy to give a try just about this one time. The way she consulted with me before the cut, and how she continued to make sure I was comfortable throughout the makeover was a good way to keep me same. I get really bad anxiety when certain ladies just take my hair into their own hands and disregard my feelings about it.
This lady was a lovely lady. I’m certain she is the owner but I didn’t catch her name :(But I would highly recommend her, this place, and I’m sure her employees are great too!
They’ve switched owners for about 9 months now but I really like this lady’s help for my hair. They accept Groupons (what I had done) but please just pay upfront and know that she will MATCH the Groupon’s price! :)

I loveeee my hair cut!!! I finally cut my long hair and went short and I have been getting a lot of compliments! I was nervous to get a short hair cut but I wanted a change and I am sooo happy I went short
Service was good. Price was really good! lots of parking and a nice place.
