Well, honestly in my opinion this place is terrible, horrible hooka. Jesus the manager is a big anal hole. Bad service all around. Ask for a different hooka and started acting up and being super rude. He also kicked out a couple for no reason. Dont waste your time or money. Just go to swinging hooka instead. Even hooka beats is better than this place.

pretty cool place to hang out and chill and Alex the owner a little eccentric but seem like a really nice man and the workers are really funny and nice to talk to especially The big guy Sam is really attentive and Tamara is quite the looker and the manager Jesus is just hard to under stand he seems to have a vary strong middle eastern accent but all around great place.

Alright. Worst place I have ever been for hookah or even customer service in general. The manager Jesus gave terrible service. Our hookah wasn’t hitting and when I asked him to fix it he just offered to give me a refund. And I couldn’t even stay with my friends that had paid for their hookah, which also wasn’t hitting but they didn’t want to complain. So he eventually kicked us out: which is ridiculous because apparently is 3 people per hookah and there was 4 of us. All in all, worst costumer service I have ever experienced and I will never be coming back.

Extremely rude service, hookah has terrible burnt taste. The middle eastern owner or the guy who works the front is not nice or customer friendly. Save your money and go else place.

I have been to a few places like this and I have to say that this one is by far the best I have been to.
I really appreciate the service. The owner is very nice. He knows his guests. I only went here once a few months ago and when I walked through the door again, months later he not only knew who a I was but he remembered what flavor we were interested in. He was suggested a new flavor that was very different from what we usually use but it was very good. He told us about the products and he helped us purchase a very special piece for our home. He told us how to care for it and he told us how to correctly use it. The owner is very passionate about his business and it shows in his service. I don’t go out to these places very often but when I do I don’t have a problem at all with driving all the way across town to visit this place.
Not only is the owner very friendly but his staff is also very attentive. The first night I came here, it was a very special evening and the staff was able to see that the night was very enjoyable. They made we were taken care of. They were easy to get a hold of when we needed help and they were quick to serve us when we did ask for help. They were friendly and helpful and they helped our night go very well.
I highly recommend this place. It is clean and you are guaranteed a peaceful evening. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is knowledgeable.

Hookah was not good at all. Empty lounge was clearly indicating something wrong. Hostess was kind, owner/​manager appeared to not allow us to change music genre at request even though we’re the only patrons in the establishment.
Overall, wouldn’t recommend. 1 star for pleasant hostess, other star for having shisha available to purchase. Having terrible hookah though is unacceptable.

I’m going to try to write this review with out sounding like an asshole but shisha has to be the worst hookah lounge possible with so many reasons
~ First the hookah doesn’t even give you good smoke might as well hand me a cigarette.
The first time i went their we got our hookah. Within the first 2 minutes we notice it wasn’t getting any smoke. We thought it was not hot enough and usually we use four coals anyways so we asked the hookah tender for another coal he ignores us completely and goes to the back, 15 minutes passes by the hookah tender did not give us an extra coal he just moved the coals around because for some reason this place doesn’t give you tongs to move them yourself but he moved the coals and i noticed their was a big rip on the foil causing no air flow we left as soon as we seen that. Horrible service
i thought maybe we should give it another try maybe it was just bad luck we go again order and pay whatever we asked for four coals this time we get to the lounge area to see one of hookah tenders sleeping in one of the booths so me and my friend go to a separate booth and sit their. Our same hookah tender we got last time comes back and says «No over here» and where like we cant sit here? he replies with «No not right now» he said it like he was mad at us? keep this in mind their was only 2 people sitting on the couch area and the sleeping hookah tender in the booth. so just like okay maybe more people will come 20 minutes passes by the hookah tender killed our vibe so no where just sitting their trying to get some decent clouds with the same shitty hookah. So we just ended up leaving again because apparently people that are working get their own private sleeping booth and don’t care there about costumers.
Would give it no stars if i could but the ice tea they have their gives it one whole star and thats being generous

Came here a couple of times now and I have to say I’m a fan! The music is nice and upbeat, the seating is interesting– they have booths & regular couch seating, they have ice ‘tips’, and their ‘Obama’ flavor is my absolute favorite!
A few cons: They are short staffed. So when your hookah gets harsh and you need them to change/​fix the coals. you will have to wait. And when your ice tip starts to get at room temp, they won’t replace it for a new one without charging you.
Overall, this place is one of the pricier hookah spots but it is worth it; you get what you pay for. I’ll definitely be back.

The dude who creates the flavours is a genius. They are delicious! They even have creative names! The hookahs are high quality and they offer icy tips for the hoses. To top it all off they provide coconut coals and excellent service. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ will come back!

This is the best hooka lounge in San Jose! Alex, the owner is the
nicest guy ever and he has the best customer service than any of the
others. he takes a personal interest in the many regulars that come to
the lounge and he will be sure the place is spotless and classy.
Although his prices are slightly higher you certainly get what you pay
for with ambiance, the people inside, and the quality of hookah and
facilities. I come here all the time and have always had the best time.
Also try the tea!

This place is alright I went there once and the blue mist made me feel sick and I love blue mist, employees don’t even check up on you or anything. Wouldn’t really recommend this place, I’ll stick with going to the swinging hookah.

I really dislike this place. Service is horrible! Plus, when we are attended, my friends and I were talked to and treated as if we were teenagers. Our hookah was harsh majority of the time, took forever for out Coles to be changed. I won’t be coming here again.

This was the place my boyfriend & I went on our first date two years ago, we loved it ever since, but lately (tonight, right now) this place has not only horrible service, but the hookah sucks. Hardly any smoke, flavor, & it would get harsh at random times; even after asking one of the employees to fix it for us.
On top of that, one of the girls that work here — don’t remember her name is very rude. I had moved the coals on my own (with the plastic mouth piece) because she was inattentive & she had finally seen it, so she told me she was going to «confiscate» the piece because we’re not supposed to move it on our own. Okay, I understand that, but confiscate? What are we? In high school?
Overall after tonight, I will no longer be coming to Shisha. I used to rave about this place & tell everyone how this place was the best. But naaaaah. Looks like I’m moving to Swinging Hookah.

Very nice place to hookah!!! We literally were the only ones there on a Monday but it was totally worth it. We relaxed and enjoyed the tasty mixed berry tea and smooth iced hookah. It was our first time going but it definitely will not be our last. Sheeesha they are great!!!

Went on a Friday night & got right in! Service was great & fast. We ordered lemon grape mint flavor or something like that & got the ice extension on the hose. It hit well for a long time! We also ordered the sweet ice tea which was delicious as well. Great experience.

Back again for another review! Shisha never fails to please. Armed with a slew of new and updated flavors this lounge covers the gambit. My new favorite flavor is PiNK, smooth and mellow sweet flavor, compliments their wicked sweet iced tea.
Can’t fail to mention the staff. Jacky is the new manager and she’s brought this place a new spirit that kicks the chill atmosphere of Shisha into over drive. Servers can’t go unmentioned either, they are the backbone of the organization. Whenever we come in with new people we join the Shisha family.
This and will always be THE lounge of downtown San Jose.

I’ve experienced better hookah lounges so I may be a bit biased.

I’ve been to a few hookah bars in San Jose and this one is definitely one of the better ones!
You walk in and you are greeted with hookahs in every shape and size you can imagine (my personal favorite was the elephant). The counter is where you decide what you want, with all of the flavors, sexual, funny, and fruity. They’re in clear tins and the owner let’s you smell them to help decide. He is knowledgeable about all of them.
We decided on the Obama flavor, a Change from the usual minty flavor. We also opted for the $ 5 extra on the ice tip on the hose. Pay then you are led into the secret darkened backroom, walls painted with palms trees, sand, and people and filled with couches. They’ve also got more private booths to the side for bigger groups. I came around 9pm on a Saturday and there was only a few other groups there. They had some chill reggae playing, quiet enough to be able to carry conversations on.
If you’re hungry, the kabob store next door is owned by the same guy I think and you can order from there.
My friend and I got the iced tea everyone was raving about on Unilocal,and it was ok. It’s a sweet tea, which I don’t like, but it was one of the better sweet teas I’ve had. The Obama flavor was delicious though!
My only beef here was the service, which I hate to even mention because everyone was so friendly, but we had to track down the coal/​waiters whenever the hookah got harsh. My friend asked for some ice water and it never came too.
That said, I’d still come back. I loved everything else about it!

There isn’t much to do on a Tuesday night in downtown SJ, but my friends and I decided to check out Shisha since we were nearby.
I like this place! Right when you walk in you’ll be greeted by the owner and you’ll see all hooka flavors they have on display. They have your typical flavors here and I think they have a lot of their own signature flavors as well!
We had to choose two different flavors since there were four us, but the cost wasn’t that bad! The flavors were good and lasted long compared to other places we’ve been to. The lounge is set up pretty nice. Lasers and lights to go with house music, hip hop, and top 40 hits they play in there!
Overall, the vibe here is good!
The only thing I disliked was that their seats aren’t that comfortable. :/
