STAYAWAY!!! My experience with them was terrible and I will never use them again. In fact I would caution anyone against handing them your hard drive as you may not see it back for weeks even if you decide against proceeding with their service. We turned in a failing drive for data recovery. At first everything seemed pleasant and they were easy to work with using their online portal. They provided a «free diagnostic» and promptly informed us of what the problem was and how much it would cost to retrieve the data. This is where the problems started. At $ 1800 for recovery, we determined that we would not proceed with recovering the data as it was too expensive. Not a problem, data recovery can be pricey depending on the situation and whats involved. We requested that the drive be returned to us in a timely manner. Unfortunately it is now almost 2 weeks since we turned it in and have been calling them for a week and a half to no avail. When I decided to go in person I was unable to speak face to face with anyone from the company, rather I had to speak using the building management’s receptionist telephone since they were unreachable at their general number. I ended up having the WORST customer service experience imaginable. I asked that the drive be returned to me today as it had been almost 2 weeks already of waiting. Within literally 5 seconds, Jamie, the only employee that was reachable started yelling at me at the top of her lungs and told me she was calling building security to have me removed. She reiterated several times that I was not a customer(since I didn’t actually pay them to extract the data) and that they had no obligation to provide me the drive anytime soon. She made me feel like I wasted her time by getting a free diagnostic and was really resentful about it. I told her this was the worst customer service I had ever experience and she continued to yell back that I am not a customer. 0⁄10 I would never return again. I hope I get my drive back but I won’t be surprised if they refuse to return it.
