Salon Exclussif

This is an overdue review of the wonderful Ruby. It was the first time for me to try salon exclussif after a long search on Unilocal and google for a nearby salon with excellent reviews. I was brave enough to ask for the whole deal: a haircut, colour and highlights… as Ruby finished her work I was a bit scared to look at the end result but she definitely exceeded my expectations. She is very thorough and involved me as she planned every step of her work. I had shoulder length hair with faded brown red colour, I walked out with a lovely layered rich chocolaty brown hair with surprise lighter brown highlights. Amazing! Thank you Ruby and happy 2016!

It’s been over a year since my last hair appt. at another salon. I have been looking on Pinterest for over a year and finally there it was… the hair I was looking for. I picked Salon Exclussif due to the closeness from my work and the good reviews. I chose Maria Lovos seeing so many loved what she did for them. Well… one nervous day, 4hr hair appt, and one changed woman. Many staff members at my work didn’t recognize me. They said it looks good on me. I was looking for a darker look with some caramel peekaboos and a nice hair cut. I learned about hair that day. I have Fine hair that doesn’t take toner to well. Since the peekaboos didn’t stand out like i hoped, Maria spent a little more time making sure I walked out a happy costumer. I always wanted to know what my darn root color was… who knew it was a mix (dark blonde/​light brown) I’ll probably come back in summer to lighten the peekaboos some more. Also… just cause you see hair in a magazine, be aware that each person has a different hair type that can take color better than yours. Also… sadly. magazines sometimes photoshop hair on the models, so who knows what they did to make it «stand out» on the page. Thank you Maria and Salon Team for giving me the look I was trying to achieve. Even though it’s not exactly like the photo. I still love it. I am still getting use to looking at myself in mirror. I can’t wait to show my family during Christmas time.

I’m updating my review because as it turns out, the reason why they were not responding to me may not have been bad business practice, but rather, integration of the new systems with a new owner taking over. I have not, and may not receive services from this salon still, but I wanted to include her response which I feel merits a higher review for customer service alone:

I can offer you a discount and provide you with the best personal for you wedding. I apologized for not reaching out to you in a promptly manner. I just took over the salon recently. I have to admit that we had a little problem with the automated phone line during the transition of switching the ownership. I wonder of you are still looking to get services from us…»
The message continues, but that is the gist of it — nice woman, and I hope that her business is not impacted too terribly by the phone system integration. I’ll update again if I do receive any services from this salon, but at least you know the owner has a good attitude.

Wonderfully professional staff who put quality work and really invest in the well being of your hair. I have been to this salon several times and am ALWAYS impressed. Maria Lovos works wonders :)

I am constantly getting compliments about my hair color from friends, family and mostly complete strangers. Naturally, i’m a dark, flat brown (boooorrriiinnnggg) but Maria gave me a beautiful red tone that’s looks very natural; People i don’t know will ask me if my hair is naturally red or if it’s dyed. I also had her do an up-​do for me for a christmas party last year and once again received tons of compliments on how great my hair looked. I’ve been getting my hair cut and dyed from Maria for over 2 years now and i will continue to until she decides to retire from hair.
Tip: This salon only accepts appointments so don’t just bust through the door and demand a makeover. Call in, ask for Maria and enjoy your new beautiful do.

RUBY is the girl to go to!!! I have been looking around to find a nice salon that can give me blue hair. Im so so glad to have found this salon. Ive always dyed my hair myself because I couldnt afford to pay so much to keep my hair done. I went in with green/​blonde hair and we got it to a BEAUTIFUL dark blue/​blue/​violet hair within 7 hours. Ive never been so in love with my hair.
Ruby was patient and nice to talk to, and I couldnt be happier with my hair result! :)

Ruby is amazing! I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a colorist. She completely transformed some terrible highlights I got from a different hairstylist and really made a point to understand what I didn’t like about my hair and what I envisioned going forward.

So my girlfriend and I came here for the first time. She was not happy at first because it was a far drive for us. Luckily, the team at Salo Exclussif was amazing. They were warm and welcoming, courteous and polite. What a wonderful experience. I don’t think I’ve gotten a better haircut in years, possibly ever. Maria was amazing, she took her time and was patient with me. Her trainee Stephanie shampooed my hair and it was amazing! The owner is a great guy and made sure that we were taken care of. They did an amazing job and I highly recommend it. Go here, it’s worth it!

Hello, I am amazed by how my hair comes out everytime I come to this salon. Everytime I walk through the door I am sat in a chair and asked if I would like any snacks or a water bottle. My hairstylist, Ruby, is amazing. She always finds a way to transform my hair and give it its own unique look. She specializes in ombré, balayage, highlights, lowlights, all which have been done to my hair.
I’ve been in the process of transforming my dark brunette hair into a beautiful blonde for about 4 months now. And now, today she had finally achieved my desired look.
She also recommends the best products to use for my hair, such as the diamond oil from Redken. I absolutely love coming to this hair salon for all my hair needs. It’s the best salon I have ever been too. All the staff is friendly and it is nice and clean. Definitely recommend anyone who wants to try a new look to look into this salon.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE getting my hair done by MARIA! She is so talented. As someone who is super fearful when it comes to changes in my hair, Maria is the best person to work with. She eases all my fears because I know she won’t let me get out of her chair without being completely satisfied. She has amazing customer service skills and keeps the conversation going throughout the styling process. And you absolutely HAVE to get a shampoo and conditioning treatment. She gives the most GLORIOUS head massage. I’d probably fall asleep and drool right there at the shampoo bowl if I wasn’t so self-​conscious!
This trip we trimmed off my split ends and added a little toner to already AMAZING balayage (compliments of Maria from my last trip home). I loved my do from last time, there was no need to change it.

I know what y’all are thinking «This girl only gives good reviews»! Haha well I do use help for a reason to make sure I do my research before I go to a place and I don’t like to be disappointed! Well… Let me tell you that Salon Exclussif does not disappoint! I was greeted by the owner and staff warmly and I believe I might have arrived a bit too early like I always do to my appointments and I interrupted the staff meeting they were having. Ooopps! None the less… They told me to come in and have a seat and asked if I wanted a snack or drink before I got started. Then Miss Diana introduced herself to me and I swear I felt like I knew her forever we hit it off pretty quick, she was supper sweet and was really positive and I just had this good vibe and energy coming from her so I was excited to get started on my hair! I had somewhat of an idea of what I wanted and she was honest and showed me pictures and told me exactly what was achievable being that my hair was dry and damaged and it had been colored way too much with black and browns and old high lights I was a hot mess let’s just put it that way! She got started and we decided to go with a Caramel base and a shuttle light balayage, After hours of working on my hair the final result was silky smooth and gorgeous hair which was the most important thing she kept the integrity of my hair it was not dry or falling apart like it would be when I would go to other places! It was just the best! I can’t say one bad thing it was worth every penny! I will be coming back to see her and her only although everyone there seems to be great! She is my go to gal! I had done some research on many salons as debated on cutting my long long hair I’ve had forever to an extremely short length (super exaggerating) I saw Exclussif on a friend’s IG and feel in love with the reviews and there work. I came in on a Saturday Unilocaling it before I got there and of course didn’t make an appointment (not so smart) but woke up that day thinking I need to cut my hair today… got there and Diana was ready to close and told her my story was gna come back but she said“ok…I’ll cut your hair” she didn’t have too but she did she was so positive and so polite always had a lovely smile on her beautiful face… im not that much of a talker when it comes to salons but with her felt like I knew her… he’s so welcoming and so friendly… i recommend Diana 100% and not only that but her work is amazing I’m one satisfied Friend (client)

I’m so glad I have found this place! So let’s get one thing said: my hair is past my waist, it’s super thick, and has been died numerous times. Did I know that my color and cut would’ve been this great?! Nope!
The salon itself is friendly, welcoming, and modern. The staff here is fantastic! They warmingly greet you upon entering and are so personable!
What really surprised me is how the owner, Alex, does a follow up call shortly after you’ve left to ensure you’re happy with your service, and turnout. Very rare will you experience that type of dedication to customer experience in any salon!

After my regular hairstylist of years moved to LA I went months without touching up my hair; hoping I found the right person I had seen Diana’s work online and decided to give her a call. She gave me a great over the phone consultation I’ve been seeing Diana for some time now and I’m so thankful I found her.
I love my hair! She gave me some great tips on how to take care of my hair and it’s much more healthier now.
Amazing customer service. If you are in need of a great hairstylist Diana is amazing I feel like I’ve known her for years!

I recommend this salon to everyone!!! Jamie did a great job, just what I wanted. Im very picky and critique everything but I have no complaints!!! I will definitely be back!
Also everyone who works there is very nice, welcoming, and professional! The salon is very clean and modern.

This was my first visit and I totally loved it. In the past I had suffered from bad experiences from other salons including getting burnt from long bleaching or haircuts that didn’t look anything like what I had asked the stylist to do. So, coming here I my expectations were low, so it was totally refreshing to get from a stylist exactly what you have in mind, or discuss with her.
My Stylist, Diana was amazing! She listened to my concerns, asked questions, and did not push me on anything. As a result my hair was cut just like i wanted. She managed to cut bad ends while letting me keep my length. She also gave me a bunch of great advise on how to take better care of my hair, hopefully making my hair healthier for my next visit.
What I love most above this salon, other than the great results, is that the whole environment is very positive. As soon as you get in, they make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. No waiting!!!
Definitely going to be back!

Scheduled an appointment with Sarah to fix my mess of bleached hair that my sister botched. Wanted to go more of an ombré and cut off some of the dead ends. Sarah went through some pics of hairstyles I liked and helped me pick what would suit me best.
We chose a style and got down to business. She washed and brushed through the mass of tangles that my hair always is. Died it all sorts of colors and recommended some products to me to help repair all the damage the bleach had done.
When all was done the cut was excellent but the color just wasn’t working. She scheduled for me to come back in a couple days and we would work on it again. Came back, added in some highlights, toned the blonde and all was fixed and looks gorgeous!
Sarah is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She let me know what she was doing and never left me in the dark. I will definitely be coming back to her!
As for the salon itself, the other employees are so friendly and all seemed to interact very well. It’s a smaller salon but don’t let that defer you as it is extremely nice on the inside and the staff here is excellent.

I finally got the perfect color I dreamed of, sexy pure red hot hair. I have tried different reds from different brands and it just didn’t come out right.
I got my hair done by Gabrielle, she was very professional, work environment was very clean and organized. She was very energetic and outgoing. Very patient with my gross damaged nappy hair:)
We spent a total of 4.5hrs to bleach and dye my hair. With the help of the wonderful Salon Exclussíf Crew, I know how to maintain my color and keep my hair healthy and vibrant and long lasting for the rest of the summer.

Called at noon, with my fingers crossed that someone can take me that same evening. Diana came in on her day off and was able to see me at 530. Stoked! Based on the 5 stars reviews, and my last minute appointment, i was willing to work with anyone.
I was I need for a change but didn’t want to look cheap… or orange. I wanted to go blonde but realized it is not healthy to go from dark to light in on seating.
Diana listened very well to my needs and was a total sweetheart. I hate coloring my hair because it feels like a never ending process but Diana and the rest of the staff made my experience go by fast. I will be coming back in a few months to continue the lightning process.
Great costumer service, from initial phone call to signing the bill at the end. See you guys in a few months!

Got my hair done by Christina! She was very professional and careful and did an excellent job on my hair! It’s been two weeks now and my color is staying in very well. Keep it up Exclussif!
