Renee’s Bridal

Renee is great! I was referred to her by my future MIL because she saw another bride use her at her wedding. To be honest, I wasn’t too sure at first, because I wasn’t sure if her style would match mine. Renee proved to be very versatile, talented, professional, and sweet! I’m very happy with the styles that she did. She was on time and made sure to take her time to create what she thought would be perfect.

Renee is by far a perfectionist! I decided to try her out as my hair and makeup artist for my engagement session in ¹⁰⁄₀₉ before deciding whether I would use her for my wedding day June 2010. I have to say, after the engagement session, I was so blown away with how perfect her work was that I booked her the same day for my wedding day.
On the wedding day she’ll need 3 hrs to prepare hair + makeup. She was not late and she finished in time as well. Most importantly she doesn’t rush to get the job done. She’ll take her time to make sure that every part is perfect, and trust me it was perfect. As far as makeup, Renee really knows how to make your eyes pop when doing makeup, but at the same time (most importantly) you’ll look natural. I did not want to look like a drag queen on my wedding. I was looking for an elegant look and that is what she gave me.
My wedding hair was absolutely gorgeous!!! In the front my hair was parted on the side and i had these cute tight curls in the back. What blows me away here is how tight and clean she makes the curls. It was so perfect that someone actually asked if it was really my hair in the back!!! There was NOTHING messy about my updo.
On top of Renee doing a beautiful job on the day of, she also had the challenge of making sure that my makeup and hair would last my the whole day. My parents are traditional chinese, which means my day starts at 8am and ends at 11pm. Not only did I have not problem with my makeup staying on (with only touching up with powder and lipgloss by myself throughout the day), my hair also survived an oddly windy June 19^th, 2010 weather. Not a strand was loose by the end of the day.
Overall, I had a great experience with Renee. I had so many compliments on the day of and it felt great! I would highly recommend Renee for your wedding day. She even has as wide range of accessories that you can borrow that way you don’t need to spend more time and money looking for something to match.

Renee is simply WONDERFUL!
I had been so nervous and worry about finding a hair and makeup stylist who would understand the Asian features and also understand the «natural» style.
I almost book with another makeup & hair artist 3 days before my civic ceremony, lucky me… my friend recommended Renee’s website to me. It immediately gets my attention. And I know she is the «one» that I am looking for!
So I email her right the way, and booked with her for a 1 time makeup and hair styling tryout section on ⁶⁄₃₀^th. With her magic hand and professional skill, I was totally impressed and really like with her work. All I can say, she rocks!
Afterwards, she told me to take a few days to decide if I wanted to book her or not, but I liked her so much that I immediately gave her the deposit without 2^nd thought to secure on my Oct wedding celebration.
Than, I had a trail with her at a week before the Oct wedding celebration. Not only she is talented, and she is also extremely sweet. She listens to what you want, but at the same time, she offers her true opinion. She really thinks about what would look best on the day of your wedding.
My wedding day finally came and thanks to Renee, we all looked fabulous! She arrived on time — 6 am to style me, my mom and two bridesmaids. And she finished by 11am. She did an amazing job on everyone’s hair and make up. Very professional and personable with everyone, and she also finished ahead of schedule, which allowed me to relax a bit!
My hair looked good all day, even my make up still looked fabulous after 9 hours. I only need a little touch up of powder and lip glass. True is, I don’t even want to removed my make up after wedding because it makes me feel so good.
You cannot go wrong with Renee. She is very a talented professional who is easy to work with. I am highly recommending her to all my friends getting married or just need to look fabulous for whatever reason.

First anniversary is approaching then suddenly remember I haven’t written a follow up for lovely Renee.

This is for my US banquet in Sept. 2008 and once again I love Renee’s magic touch on me and made this special day even more memorable as I did feel I look beautiful and got whole bunch of compliments and inquries.
I had my formal wedding and banquet overseas in July 2008 so this US banquet I wanted something different. Renee was very patient and took on the challenge as I wasn’t wearing my wedding gown, instead I had a Chinese Qi Pao somewhat like an antique wedding gown. She desgined a different look and feel from my engagement and wedding. All the guests were impressed!
For my 2^nd style, she did something more contemporary and stylish that once again WOWed my guests.
She has amazing skills, taste, and designs for both make up and hair which I highly recommended to all lovely brides to be.

Renee is definitely someone that you would want with you on your wedding day. She’s great at making suggestions while open to other ideas as well. I love how professional she is and more importantly, she’s on time if not early. Her make up style is very natural and beautiful, and she’s fantastic with the fake lashes. I can’t tell you how many compliments I received that day for my make up and it lasted for hours without any issue. Also, she let me borrow beautiful accessories & hair extension from her collection, definitely a big bonus. She was able to remain professional and keep good on time while faced with my goofy and crazy family on the day of the wedding, good job Renee! She made me a beautiful and a happy bride! Renee is the best makeup artist I ever met! She did my makeup and hair on my wedding (april 11, 09) which was last weekend. But I cant wait to share my great experience with her. She made me look absolutely stunning and I got sooo many compliments that night. I’m GLAD that I chose Renee to do makeup on my biggest day!
Renee was very patient and easy to communicate with. She spend a lot time on my trial and patient listen what I want and give me great advice.
She was very on time on the wedding day. She did my makeup so natural which make me still look myself but a lot BETTER!!!

Renee’s a great bridal makeup artist and hair stylist! I hired Renee for my wedding last November and she did a fabulous job making me look my best. I did a trial session with Renee where she spent the time to understand the look I wanted and tried a couple of different styles before we decided on one I liked. She’s extremely patient and very professional (and very sweet!). On the day of the wedding, she arrived exactly on time, took the amount of time she had quoted me and even stopped in between doing my makeup to ask me if I wanted to go «smokier» with my smokey eyes which I did. The end result was exactly what I wanted — makeup that didn’t feel heavy and still made me look like me and an updo that was perfect for the occasion without looking too overdone.
The makeup lasted the whole time even during me getting teary-​eyed several times throughout the day and my hair stayed in place and the fresh flowers also stayed in the whole time.
I highly recommend Renee (especially for those brides who are weary of going to a makeup artist who doesn’t understand Asian features)
