These guys did an amazing job, again. As my husband and I have gotten older and our children have grown, we considered moving to a more comfortable home. Instead we decided to have Hans and George transform our old home into the new home we needed. I didn’t take before photos but we had an old kitchen with formica countertops and vinyl floors which they replaced with beautiful Quartz, a tile backsplash, and lovely laminate wood floor. They also put the laminate floor throughout most of the house, replacing old carpeting. They gave me a wonderful, efficient laundry room which totally beats doing laundry in the garage. They put in a handicap accessible bathroom, embracing the «aging in place» philosophy and making it look beautiful! Lots of small repairs were done and everything was freshly painted. It looks like a brand-​new home. All of this was done with good communication, pleasant and professional subcontractors and in a timely manner. We are very happy with our house now and feel that we can live here comfortably for a very long time!

We hired this contractor for two projects, one big and one comparatively small. together totaling well into six figures. I’ve been meaning to Unilocal this business for a while now, and in this case my procrastination is good because I can speak of how their work has held up over several years.
And: their high-​quality work has performed very well for us. Our completely-​remodeled-​from-​the-​studs-​up kitchen was thoughtfully designed and put-​together nicely, and the workmanship remains top-​notch– as befits my (and our guests’) favorite room in the house. Along the way they discovered some regrettable modifications made to the house by a previous owner, and they engineered a proper fix for that dangerous situation without a hiccough in the schedule. Their work is the best-​built part of the house! And even in the most intensive moments of the projects, they kept everything so clean… we remained in the house during the construction (not always the best idea!) and it never felt we were living in a war zone. Their subcontractors are uniformly great guys, too. Cheerful, helpful, friendly.
They handled all the permits stuff so we didn’t have to deal with the city at all. That was appreciated! The remodel included some non-​trivial elements such as bringing gas to a former all-​electric kitchen, a whole-​house copper repipe, and energy-​efficient revisions to some old, low-​quality skylights.
And I can’t say enough about their service and support. Every construction project has a few wrinkles, and in our case a subtle and uncommon flaw in the granite manifested itself over a lengthy period of time. No problem: they brought their team in, including the granite subcontractor, and got everything fixed perfectly with no hassles. The contrast versus some friends’ and neighbors’ experience with other contractors is pretty vivid.
Great work and great attitude deserves five stars. Love these guys.

We absolutely love working with Hans and George, along with their subcontractors. They have remodeled my grandmother’s condo, our condo and are now helping with our new house. Their work is always beautiful and they are here when they say they will be and finish on time (or early!). We left for vacation in November 2010 and came home to our remodeled kitchen — no hassles, questions or problems. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Tried to have a job bid by this company, When I questioned a few points, George got very nervous and suggested that I look elsewhere. A big red flag and a bad attitude to boot! I suggest looking elsewhere yourself rather than giving this guy a try!

Honest, pleasant to work with, great advice, keep their work area clean, stick to the time table, and they stand by their work. Even seven years down the road. Their work is beautiful. They are the best ever.
