PRP Wine International

I had my wine party last Saturday. I had Bridgette. My appointment was for 7pm. She didn’t show till 8pm. When I made the appointment with her she told me that she would be arriving between 6:30 and 6:50pm to set up and see what kind of food I would be serving so that she could pair it with the wines. She did text me at 7:12 to tell me that she would be here at 7:40. Then she text ed me again to tell me that she would be even later. By the time she got here, and set up it was closer to 8:40pm. By then I had started to open a couple of my own wine bottles and started drinking with my guests. I got to admit that she was knowledgeable but being over an hour late is unacceptable, especially when I had guest waiting.

We just had our first wine tasting party last weekend and it was GREAT!!! Jenna was our wine consultant and did an awesome job! She was very well knowledged on the wines and very informative on the history behind all of them. She was very warm and had a wonderful funloving personality. She came a couple days before the party to drop off the wines so we had time to properly chill the whites for the tasting. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and the wines. We ended up ordering quite a few bottles. We enjoyed it so much we have already scheduled our 2^nd party in a couple months!!! I highly recommend Jenna and PRP Wines!

We LOVED our experience with Jenna from PRP! She was amazing & was very patient with our group. There was no sales pitch & no pressure to buy any additional. We loved the wine we tasted and had a great time doing it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We will definitely do this again!

i purchased the wine party at the San Francisco Flower and Garden show a couple months back from a couple of ladies that seemed knowledgeable about wine and very nice. About a month ago, when I scheduled our wine party, we talked about the process and I expected that the person coming to my home would be the one of the ladies that i met. Unfortunately this was not the case. A gentleman from called me a week before the birthday party I had planned for my friend. I didn’t know him and he was pretty «salesy» on the phone. When I called to request someone else because I did not have a good feeling about this, I was told that he was the only one available at the time. After a bit of going back and forth, I agreed to let him do the wine part of our party. It really was not was what I expected. He was very «salesy» and got irritated when I curbed that part of presenting the wine. Later, he told me they did the wine party as «direct sales,» which actually is more in the line of a Tupperware party. I did not know this. If the sales pitch was subtle and in the spirit of the wine gathering, I think it would have been okay. But I had to curb the hard sell part of it and deal with the gentleman’s apparent dissatisfaction that I wasn’t too keen on this part. To keep the party fun, I had to use all the tactfulness I could and it turned out okay. But, I feel that I was sold a wine party that really was a «Tupperware» party. It was misrepresented and I was disappointed and could not recommend this to anyone. The wines were low to mid-​level. I checked them out on the internet after and most are not distributed in the US, but the information I got confirmed that most were over-​priced at the amount the wanted to sell them for. The wine gentleman was okay as far as identifying the main characteristics of the wines, but no more so than any notes you could get off the internet. Overall, this was disappointing and unless you want the direct sales aspect, I would skip it.

I had Jenna over for a girls night in party and man! was she an angel. She had the wines ready and set to go before I got home. She even helped set up the cheese platter a bit.
Her energy was more infectious than the wine. The selection of wines she brought was SOOO good. Each and every wine (8 of them) were of distinct taste and had a good story behind it.
She was super easy to work with and all I had to do was tell her what I don’t like and she took care of the rest.
Am really looking forward to her growing her business and finding more opportunities to have her at our parties so she can educate us more about wines, bottels, grapes etc at the comfort of our home.
