Pirie Jensen has taken extra steps to get my claim issue resolved from my truck accident. She steps in when there are problems and gets them resolved. Her office is always helpful and friendly. I would recommend Pirie Jensen to anyone looking for an insurance agent. She is one of the best. I have been so impressed by the quality of service I have received working with Valerie K. I’ve been going through the home-​buying process, which is stressful enough on its own. I was really lost and needed guidance for what kind of insurance was the best for my family and our needs, and what would protect us the best in a worst-​case scenario. Valerie reviewed many documents, compared other coverage deficiencies from other quotes, and explained what coverage we really needed and why. She explained the benefits of going through a big company, like State Farm, and made me feel like I was going to be in good hands. Not only did she rush documents to our loan agent over lunch time, making sure our tight deadlines were met, she also helped me strategize how to save the most money by bundling our car insurance, along with the home insurance. I would not trust my business with anyone other than Valerie.

I have had a good experience thus far working with the staff at Pirie Jensen’s office (more specifically Valerie). They are professional, helpful, friendly, and care about their customers. I hope to continue working with them for the foreseeable future!

Pirie has been my insurance agent for 11 years. Her customer service has always been professional and efficient. Recently, she worked with my mortgage lender to ensure that my home refinance went through without a hitch. She was also very helpful when I added my teenage driver to our insurance.

Recently I called Pirie about damage to a rental car that I was being billed for. My claim was processed within 24 hours! I was surprised at the speed because I’m also trying to get the deductible from Visa and that is still on-​going.

I’ve been with this office for years and have had wonderful service throughout. I recently needed to update my renter’s insurance for a move, and Emily was such a great help throughout the process. She was always friendly, responded to every communication promptly and thoroughly, helped me work out all the questions I had, and got my new policy written up quickly, so I could have it in time for move-​in day (the owner requires it to hand over the keys). This couldn’t have been a smoother and easier experience for me!

Pirie and her staff have been great for me since I have moved to the San Jose area about 2 years ago. Pirie treated me as if I was one of her own, and her and her staff have always been available to assist me. I would highly recommend reaching out to them!

I stopped by Pirie’s office the other day to purchase new renter’s and car insurance. Even though we were talking about run of the mill line items, Pirie was an absolute delight to converse with. She was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and charming. She made sure I understood what I was purchasing and took her time to ensure that I was receiving all applicable discounts.
Her assistant, Emily, was also a huge help throughout the whole process. While I was shopping for a quote (which was very competitive compared to others), we stayed in constant communication and she was always quick to respond. I cannot speak highly enough about the experience I’ve had so far with State Farm.

Contacted Pirie via email to express my frustration with my claim and how it was being handled. I told her I understood that she was not a direct part of the claims handling but that she should know what a miserable time I was having with it. She replied that she would like me to call her. I called her around 1:30 on Monday afternoon. She was short, uninterested and in a hurry to get to her medical appointment when i called and insisted I sum up my experience in one sentence instead of taking the time to allow me to express ALL of my concerns!!!

I have to tell you I was really put off by your comments and manner in which you received my phone call. I called you at your place of work during the normal business hours and if you didn’t have time to talk to me because you «had people waiting for you for physical therapy» you should have either asked to call me back or not taken the call period. Telling me to sum up my horrible experience over the course of 4 months now in one sentence is absurd and rude! I was trying to explain everything to you and it was obvious that your physical therapy and the people waiting for you were way more important than my need for good customer service. You have my number, feel free to call me when you have time.)
Expecting a phone call back, this is what I got, another email focused on her medical appointment and not me!!!
I get it, we all have medical issues but your problems should not interfere with giving me quality time and good customer service! Like I said in the email, don’t take the call or ask to call me back, don’t shut me down and make assumptions.

I am sorry you felt put off when I explained I was late for a medical appointment when I answered the phone. I have been having shooting pains in my neck and have a frozen shoulder which hinders my functioning with computer and thus was in need to get to my physical therapy appointment.
I contacted claims immediately upon my return and obtained the date for arbitration which I sent to you.
I also have sent an email to a supervisor of the department to discuss the unprofessional service you, our client, feel you have received from State Farm.
In addition to discussing this issue with management and following the progress on the arbitration, is there anything else I can do for you at this point? Your disagreeable experience is important to me and State Farm, if there is something more I can do at this point, please let me know what that is.)
Are you kidding me? I never said ANY of this was necessary and you still have not called me. You still doesn’t even know what I need! I called you because I was having a hard time getting good customer service, now I see it is not just a claims issue. Bad service is a common practice at State Farm.
5/​22/​14-​Got a call from the totally incompetent claims rep the day before everything is supposed to go to arbitration stating they had yet to transcribe the ONLY statement by an auto body shop stating that the accident was not my fault. Mind you they have had over four months to do so. She ha the nerve to ask me if we could reschedule due to their inability to get stuff done. NOOO! I’m not going to wait another 6 months for you to try a recover my money.
Now why didn’t pirie know that they didn’t have everything in order if he had contacted the claims rep like she said in her email?
5÷31÷14− as if it could get worse… Bam just got a draft invoice for $ 125 over my monthly draw of $ 127.00. Did I mention Pirie has STILL not contacted me.

Stay Away!!! I’ve always had great service with State Farm, but Pririe Jensen blatantly doesn’t like customers. It rang loud and true in her interactions with me and eventually came out directly in her stating «maybe I should go elsewhere.» I called to discuss my policy after the price suddenly jumped by $ 50 a month with no notification to me. They stated that I had misrepresented my past when I filled out the application and the policy reflects the new change. I filled out the entire application over the phone with them. I told them I received a traffic ticket 3 years ago, but took a drivers education course for it so I’m not sure if that is still on my record or not.
Apparently any policy needs to be checked by corporate which takes 90+days. So the price they quote you isn’t really the price until corporate approves.
State Farm’s business model worked well prior to the internet, but their systems apparently haven’t been updated in 15 years. Unfortunately, the agents don’t have the personality or communications skills to make up for it.

I worked with Heather at this office, and she is extremely professional and helpful. I was searching for a 3-​month long rental car insurance for quite a while and had trouble finding the right policy. Heather was able to help me price a reasonable policy quickly and helped me signed up the same day. I would highly recommend this State Farm branch to anyone for rental car insurance setup.

Heather and her team are fantastic. Everything is timely and no hassle.

As a young adult, navigating any type of insurance is daunting. I really liked these ladies at first but when we went to redo our insurance when we got married Heather was very unprofessional. It really saddened me since I really liked them when I signed up.
Heather sent us 20 different emails all with out answering the question that we had asked her. One was even a screen shot of some dos program they use, now how am I suppose to understand the companies internal software. I am the customer.
She seemed frazzled and confused the whole time I dealt with her. I am sure she is a great person and maybe she was having a bad week, it took a week of her strange emails, but we will not recommend State Farm to any one. We switched to Mercury since they have more coverage for less money.
