We are frequent at this place and always enjoy the space of tables inside. Not crowded with seating, which my 2 year old also enjoys as he runs everywhere. They always greet us warmly and food is served quick too. The fried calamari, beef cubes, korean bbq are really good. They even have french fries! :) They never complain when my 2 year old is noisy and fussy. They smile and talk to him and sometimes ask if he can have candy. :) I appreciate that since some restaurants do not welcome families with little children patiently. Overall, always clean and enjoyable when the t.v.s are on. It looks like they may have karoake night too, but never see it open.

I came during a weekday afternoon and the place was very quiet. Relaxing. Very good phở. Place was clean. People working there were very nice and polite. Seems they have karaōke although I did not come when that was going on. Lots of drinks such as smoothies and Vietnamese specials. Will come back to try their other dishes soon. As a note: they DO accept credit cards, a rare thing for Phở places.

I always have consistently great service and food. The bathrooms are always clean. The owners are so sweet and caring to their customers. We enjoy the phở and their vermicelli bowls. The egg roll with BBQ pork is always fresh and flavorful. The fried tilapia was so delicious. My 89 year old mother ventured out with me and loved the fried fish. Now we get it for takeout. I like that it is quiet and not so busy and loud like other phở restaurants that you feel you have to eat in a hurry because so many people and the waiters are breathing down your neck so they can get more customers in. Good place to enjoy Great for families, not too noisy for dinner.

I ordered the filet mignon just to try it out and It was terrible. They used bad cut of meat. It was just all tendon and looked all cut up to cook faster. Don’t make the same miSTEAK I did and order something else or somewhere else.

Decent food here. I happen to always crave com tam or bun thit nuong when I come here. You can watch sports on the flat screens that they have. Egg rolls are hot and crispy, and they give a lot of meat. They always give me more BBQ pork than other places in my vermicelli bowls or my rice bowls. Best thing ever. Best noodle to meat ratio. The place is big, and you tend to see more locals in the restaurant. Don’t forget to pay at the cash register!

There is a good selection of food here — from the basic phở to seafood pasta. The quality of the food is good; my favorite is the spicy seafood noodle soup, which is very flavorful and reminds me a little of Tom Yum soup. Also, they are kind enough to accommodate requests — I always ask for steamed broccoli on the side(which are perfectly steamed — bright green and crisp). The staff is friendly and attentive as well.

Went in around lunch time during the week. There was no other costumers at all, just a handful of dirty tables(which stayed dirty the whole time). The lady said hi to us as we sat down but then we waited probably 10+ min before she came to the table. Food came quick but my beef tasted like plastic in my phở so I just ate the noodles and the broth(which I loaded with sauces to make it tastier). The lady was nice though, so that’s why I didn’t give it one star. Won’t be coming back :(

I come here often. I love Lena and her husband they are so sweet, the nicest people. Good Phó, good egg rolls, spring rolls, prawns, bun… making myself hungry. It’s really fun on Saturday nights singing karaōke with friends and family…

Good place for sunday brunch during NFL. They have plenty TVs viewable from any table. Big portions and plenty of meat in the phở and bun items.

I wanted to venture out and try a new phở place just for the heck of it. I came here the other night with my mom and sister. Upon arrival my mom was saying how the restaurant was completely empty… so it probably wasn’t good. I decided to give them a shot anyway! The restaurant itself was pretty big for a phở joint. There was a lot of empty space, and I don’t know if they ever really fill this place. The service was alright, not exceptional, but not totally bad either. We ordered our usual phở tai. I have to say the broth was very bland. Not the best phở I’ve had before. My sister said her noodles came out hard and under cooked. Maybe if she waited it would have cooked a little more? I wouldn’t say this is completely horrible phở, I’ve had worst in LA, but it’s definitely not that best in San Jose.

One of my family’s favorite phở places. Super fast service and generous portions. We’ve tried many different dishes here as well and have never gone wrong. The phở is great and so are the rice plates! The pork has an amazing texture and flavor. The shrimp is awesome as well. We’ll be coming back for years!

Pretty good phở place here in the Bay Area, but our experience this time wasn’t as good as the last… The waiter brought our drinks way after he brought our food, but it looked like he was the only waiter there, so I understand that. I ordered the wonton egg noodle soup and there were only 4 wontons with little to no filling in them, kinda disappointing for a wonton noodle soup order. but the broth is really good, it’s very flavor full but it doesn’t have that taste of having msg… not sure if the use msg or not but usually I get a headache right after eating phở that has it and I didn’t get one here! It’s not one of the best phở out here and the service needs to be worked on but it’s good phở.

I couldn’t complain. They offer fresh food, friendly service, and beautiful décor. There is a very nice, large. and squeaky-clean environment, too. I had phở thai, it was great, and very fresh. I could tell that it was not left over from the previous night. I would strongly recommend it to anyone and I feel like I should take my family there more often. This place is my one stop for everything.

The chicken phở is the best here. You can choose from white or dark meat and my usual is white chicken phở because it’s more lean. The broth is pretty clean and has a barely any fat in it which is nice because compared to other phở houses you see a lot of fat deposits in the broth. Another dish I like is the«shrimp tempura» although it’s more of a panko breaded and butterflied shrimp. Still yummy and you get about 8 pieces in the appetizer. My family and I frequent this establishment and the owners are familiar with my parents so it seems like a real neighborhood joint where«everybody knows your name». Plus I enjoy hearing my Mom say«Phở Que». Lol.

Owners are personal friends and are very friendly to everyone as far as I can tell. This is the place I go for Vietnamese food in the Bay Area nowadays. Phở is good, may be a tad bland for some, but that’s better than most phở shops which drench their phở in MSG. I really recommend trying their oxtail soup, salmon salad, grilled pork with rice noodles, etc. besides their phở. The place is really big but quiet. Although service is slow sometimes like what some reviewers say, they are no worse than most other joints.

Living in the neighborhood, I have been here many times, enough to be considered a «regular». Initially, it was fine. The restaurant is large, airy and open and it was clean. However, the last few times I have been there, it seems to be getting dirtier and dirtier. Tonight was the worst. Although the place was less than half full, it was difficult to find a seat because every available table was covered in dirty dishes. Very appetizing! It took quite a while to be waited on, and I ordered my phở and a glass of wine. The wine and water came, and I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited for the phở. Eventually it came, and when I asked for another glass of wine(because I had finished the 1st one during the long wait for my food), the young male waiter, who by his attitude clearly hates his job or hates people — grunted«Yeah» at me and disappeared. He never did bring the wine or make any other appearance ever. Eventually I managed to flag down an older male waiter and eventually get my wine. Again, no one ever came back to see if I needed anything. When paying the bill, I spoke with the female owner, who knows that I am a regular customer, and told her that although the food was fine, that the service had been especially slow, the restaurant was filthy(not a single table was cleared or cleaned in the entire time I was there), the young waiter was borderline rude, and overall, it had been an extremely negative experience.(Again, she knows I have been coming there 1 – 2 times a week for quite some time) All she said was they were shorthanded, and she made no attempt to adjust the bill, offer me a credit — nothing. I was appalled at reaction — or lack thereof. There are many phở restaurants in Evergreen. My recommendation would be to go elsewhere — ANYWHERE but here. If the restaurant has now become this slovenly and the management doesn’t seem to care or try to make any adjustments, what the hell does the kitchen look like??? Go somewhere else — ANYWHEREELSE!!!

awww how could i forget to write a review for this place?! truthfully. i really wanted to like this place and support them. BUTTT NEVEREVER order white sauce seafood pasta here. i know what you’re thinking. «holly why on uuurrrfff would you go to a phở restaurant and try to order something that is not even close to phở?!» my response. «i was tired from work and i didnt remember sh*t» the white sauce had these odd looking chunks that ARENT the pasta. kinda tasted like butter bits which was pretty disgusting. i tried to eat it. but i couldnt! i just couldnt! luckily we went on 4th of july so i was kinda distracted from the fireworks. THANKGORRSSHHFORFIREWORKS! BTW: boyfriend said the phở is plain too.

I’ve come here several times over the past year, and the boyfriend and I had once become devout regulars to this establishment. We went again after a hiatus(we gettin’ chubs) to satisfy our craving for pretty good Vietnamese fare. Phở Que Huong(PQH) is located at what used to be Blockbuster, which funnily we still use as the name for PQH. It’s just easier to say! The place is surprisingly spacious and roomy, quite contrary to the size of other Viet restaurants. It’s also really clean! You would think this place is just a front for a money laundering business!(Kidding!!) Our go-to meal at PQH is their com tam thit nuong with shrimp(idk how to say shrimp in Vietnamese) and a soda chanh to drink. Their com tam isn’t exactly«broken rice», but it’s acceptable. The meat is always flavorful and fatty and juicy and mmm. You can’t go wrong with com tam here. I tried their spring rolls the other day(2 for 4.50-ish), and they were alright. Standard taste, but a bit small. The customer service here is great though! They treat you like you’re the only one in the room, which most of the time we are. They check on you. And if you happen to be looking off in the distance with a confused look like the boy happened to be, they come right by to see if you’re ok. So why would anyone come here if there are tons of other somewhat better phở places in the Yay Area? Because I said so. No, but seriously the food here is delicious and inexpensive, the service is spot on, and the place is cleaner than my own room. Thumbs up for this place and I’ll definitely be a regular again.

Nothing special about this place at all. Appetizers: –Had some chicken wings that really just tasted old and nasty –Shrimp spring rolls were all rice and no shrimp and were really sticky. Phở: I had some chicken and beef phở and they were both average. I will not be back here and don’t recommend it to anyone
