I was planning to stop here for gas & buy something at the convenience store… but just as I was about to turn into the driveway, I saw that the 7Up truck that I had thought was parked next to the driveway was actually parked halfway across it, totally blocking it. When the driver came back to the truck, I made eye contact with him, threw up my hands, and asked him, «What are you doing?» He came up to my window and actually asked ME to move so that he could back up; otherwise, he said, he’d hit the car parked in front of him. I asked him, «Why are you blocking the driveway?» but of course, he didn’t answer me. So, congratulations, Pete’s. Your 7Up delivery guy cost you some business and gave it to the gas station down the street. I wonder how many other potential customers he’s cost you.

Drove in here to gas up thinking its a Valero since its colored that way
First pump just didn’t work. So many scratches and dents on the machine that I could barely see the message. It was also missing the stopper for the gas pump so I had to hold the lever up
Second pump, the yes and the no button didn’t work so when it was asking if I wanted my receipt, I couldn’t get to the next screen. I just had to ignore the message. Pump stopper also was missing on this so I had to stand there holding the lever as I pumped gas
Overall clientele and gas station looked scary.

In A Nutshell:
–As the reigning Duke (according to Unilocal!) LMAO. I just wanna first shout-​out the owner and the rotating staff. Super awesome peeps.
–I love this place b/​c they have a great selection of craft beers, specifically IPA’S (they stock my fave Sculpin IPA).
–The customer service is always so polite and courteous. I love all the staff :)
Overall, thank thee ultimate being you believe in for Pete’s Stop!

My AC needed to be recharged, so glad that I came here as it took them only 5 mins to complete the job! They also explained to me what the problem was, how that happened and in general how it works so I was very satisfied. It’s very reasonably priced, I highly recommend this place.

Great gas station located conveniently off of 280 right off the 7th street exit. They’re open pretty late too, which is good for that area since it’s close to everything near downtown.
The owners here are cool too, they’re always friendly and chit chat whenever they can. I think I love that about small businesses, they really just take the time to talk to their customers. Not like most places where all they care about is taking your money and your business.
They are also fully stocked on drinks and snacks if you ever need a place to stop off to take a break from driving, get some gas and pick up a few snacks.
If you’re looking for a neighborhood gas station that’s close to San Jose State and not too off away from the freeway, stop here.

Alright, so I don’t always rate gas stations 5 stars because they have great prices. But this location also has a great convenience store/​liquor store. They have a wide selection and is situated right by San Jose State between Keyes and 7th. If you ever need to stop off to pick up smokes, this is a great late night spot to go to that’s close to the clubs and bars.
Plus, the staff here is great. I’ve actually had the chance to chat it up with the owners of this place and they’re really great people. They talk to everyone who walk in, unless it’s busy. It can get busy here in certain parts of the day because of all the customers who come by to fill up since they’re right off the exit of 7th Street on 280.
