Only place to get it is at Oakridge mall. Everytime I’m there, I always get an original. Tastes as good as always. I have not tried anything else at this location, so my review is strictly for the original drink. Must try? YES!!! Try again? When i’m here.

I came here on Mother’s Day for the first time in 238794320948 years because my mom wanted me to grab her a drink while she was in Sephora. After taking a couple of minutes to decide, I chose the triple berry orange julius. The service was friendly and prompt, and the drink was delicious! I ended up drinking at least half of the beverage because my mom was too busy with the employees at Sephora. =)

Stopped by someday last week or 2 wks ago to get a blizzard when I was in the mall… Got the hawaiian blizzard(banana and toasted coconut), it SUCKED so bad! The toasted coconut was stale and chewy instead of crunchy. Banana pieces were rotten and looked TOONASTY when blended w/ice cream. I threw it away after i tasted it. I didn’t feel like going back and complain for a refund becuz I didn’t want to talk to the RUDE cashier.

Best place to park is behind Macys in the car park. Went in for some blizzard ice cream. I decided on oreo cheesequake, kids went with chocolate extreme and wife went with cookie dough. Medium is the perfect size and today they were running a buy one get one for 99c. So scored 4 blizzards for $ 10 and change. If you sign up at you can get coupons mailed to your phone. Also if you do a Unilocal check-in you will get some coupon. Staff is so-so, depends on who you get. Just wish they gave out samples to try different flavors before you buy a blizzard. 4 stars

Orange Julius is known for it’s namesake drink, the Orange Julius. And they, of course, do it quite well. It’s simple right? Orange juice and vanilla ice cream. Blend. Apparently it’s rocket science, because good ones aren’t exactly common. For a couple bucks, you can get your hands on a tangy dream in a cup from Orange Julius.

I’m really disappointed by this location because the prices just don’t match with the drinks(and food). I remember the first time I had an Orange Julius, and the unique taste was addicting. Recently though, the drinks have gone below the mark while the prices keep climbing. The service isn’t always kind(they can seem very uncaring), and I don’t think Orange Julius is worth it anymore.

Can a juice bar really FAIL at making it’s own signature drink??? YES How can an Orange Julius not make an Orange Julius correctly? I was shocked that this one couldn’t. I haven’t had Orange Julius since I was in SoCal a couple of years ago; so I thought it was about time to have one which is perfect to sip on during the hot weather. I was in a hurry to leave the mall & didn’t actually take a sip till I was in my car. … YUCK! Tasted like watered down orange juice with ice(no, the ice cubs did not melt) !!! WTH. .. If I wasn’t in a hurry I would of gone back & complained.… I will be staying as far away from this place as possible. .. I’m better off with places that use real fruit instead of powder anyways.

The Orange Julius machine was working fine and the drink as usual is the best ever. The probblem with this mall location is that it is over priced a dollar more than other locations, and the food? Forget about it, it is almost cheaper to buy one at a professional baseball game.

Love Orange Julius! But today, I went for the first time in years. bought a medium original orange julius, because come on… how are you gonna pass up that classic flavor? Well… totally not what I was expecting. Paid $ 4.50 for orange juice blended with ice. Jamba Juice’s Orange Dream Machine tastes more like an «Orange Julius» than Orange Julius’s. Lame. I had to come home to add some vanilla soy milk & a splash of whipping cream to give it a more authentic flavor. So disappointed in you Oakridge Mall. Maybe it was just the girl that worked there this morning. Someone needs to get fired.

I don’t think I’m coming back. Like OJ Simpson — this one’s not making a comeback. This isn’t the Orange Julius you remember back in the early 80’s and 90’s strolling the mall on a Saturday, looking for deals. The ingenuities of that unique smoothie shop — has all but disappeared. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m spoiled by the cleanliness and whole fruit of Jamba Juice, or that there are 200 other similar juice chains, but Orange Julius is low low quality. I opted for the very berry smoothie(medium sized $ 3.19) and was grossed out watching them make it. They have these buckets with concentrated syrup-like fruits(not real, whole fruits) sitting around(not even fresh) and just take a scoop of each and throw it into an unwashed blender. Then they take some white powdery substance(probably to give it that extra froth), toss in some ice, and here comes the worse part — they put it up the soda machine and press the«water» button for literally 5 seconds. You actually see that’s it’s 50% water, 30% ice, and 20% syrup /processed fruits and not fresh fruit. It tasted like it was made to. It lacked any real fruit pulp or thickness. I can understand ice and powder, but c’mon just straight water instead of juice or something? And can’t it be water from a big jug instead of tap from the soda machine where coke comes out of.

Their original Orange Julius is delicious I find myself craving it from time to time, but can someone please explain to me why they charge for extra bananas to make it? Orange Julius pretty much fooled me with their«Buy One Orange Julius Smoothie get a Relish Dog for .99cents» deal. I wanted 2 orders and it came out to $ 13 bucks– holy what the ! Yes my friends … I know you feel my pain. I asked the cashier to explain how it came up to that total and she said in a very … spaced out kind of fashion that the drinks were about $ 4.50, plus the charge of extra bananas and the hot dogs were 99 cents. Uh no, thanks one order please! So there I was holding a «original»(jamba juice size for comparison) cup of strawberry smoothie and a relish dog priced at $ 6 bucks. Tbh, it’s a bit too pricey for a damn smoothie … but I guess that’s just the way it works nowadays. Hmpf.

I love Orange Julius! Jamba Juice doesn’t quite cut it for me because they don’t have anything on the menu that comes close to the Pina Colada. I am sad that there at not more open :(

3.5 They make the OJ drinks pretty darned good here, just as I remember them being, but prices are steep(keeping up with mall rent I suppose). I end up opting for Jamba Juice instead as something to keep me full.

Back in 1998, I used to take the bus to Eastridge Mall as we were mall rats and at the time it was one of the funner things in life to do. We would eat at 2 places and 2 places only: Orange Julius and A&W. I know what you’re thinking. «There’s an Orange Julius in Eastridge? What the hell is A&W? I thought that was a brand of root beer!» Well screw you buddy, i said back in 98! We little hooligans would pool in money that we saved from starving ourselves during lunch time to buy an Orange Julius’ original in the largest size and split it. i remember my first experience being almost as good as sex. the way that drink reached me through the tip of its plastic straw was almost euphoric. ever since it closed down in eastridge mall, no non-alcoholic beverage ever stimulated me sexually ever again… until i discovered orange julius in oakridge mall! i finally decided to try other drinks in case an opportune chance fails to arrive should this store also close down. i dont think any other drink in their menu comes close to the original, however piña colada does scrape the surface. definitely recommended, but for the orange julius original! fuck all their hot dogs and shit; hot dogs suck. unless you’re at pink’s in LA, but that’s another story.

I had Orange Julius so much as a child at Eastridge and when that closed down I found that Oakridge has one and OMG I was so happy to have one again after not having one for so many years… so goood!!! It tastes soo good when you havent had one in awhile! Just the regular plain olé Orange Julius for me… Now there is Jamba, and surf city and many more juice places but for me, this is the oldie but goodie!

Orange Julius is one of my childhood restaurants that I frequent a lot. I used to get their hot dogs and addicting french fries, but it seems that they’ve decided to just concentrate on drinks and desserts. Nonetheless, I appreciate that they did not stop making their drinks. I always get a refreshing large piña colada. It doesn’t get any better than this. The bits of pineapple and ice go hand and hand in this delectable drink. If you are ever in Oakridge Mall, be sure to check them out.
