Got the #1 drink. Had milk, snow, lychee, mango, pearl and some green jelly cubes. Service was fast, friendly and the drink was refreshing. Good place to go for dessert after eating at Sushi Okawa next door.

4.5 stars actually. A coworker and I went to my Che to try it out. It was a 3 minute drive over there. Upon walking in, we were greeted w/smiles and good mornings. I looked over a menu and some pictures because it was my first time there. After about 5 – 7 minutes of looking over the menus and talking, we bought a special combination sandwich, 7 Che, 1 milk tea and 4 green coconut waffles. For the Che, we got a number 1, 2,3,4 and 3 #7’s. I got a taro milk tea for my sister(really close friend). The grand total was about $ 45. My Che was pretty good. Everyone chose a random one, except 3 ppl. My Che didn’t really have a coconut taste. It was probably a number 1 but I don’t know. It was the special one probably. The waffles took about 5 min to make. I think they only have 2 or 3 because it takes about 2 – 3 min to make it. The tables and chairs weren’t too dirty but they did have little spots. There were games available for you to play. Overall I had a great experience and will be coming back– if I can get a ride Update: out of all the ppl who are the stuff at my Che, 2 didn’t like it. Mine gave me a stomach and made me feel weirder than usual. I felt like throwing up and one of my coworkers ate a halo halo. He says that it was bland and not that sweet.

Che here is not as good as bambu. Their red tapioca is too tough n has no crunch to it. Also their Che ratio is not even. I really didn’t enjoy their ingredients either.

I like that they let you customize your own personal che. The way you customize it is extremely easy for customer/staff communication. I find it very helpful to see pictures and descriptions of what’s in each cup. Staff was very friendly, they could tell it was my first time and walked my through everything. I don’t remember what i got, but i know i liked it. I find the prices average for around the area. It’s at a good location. I’ll probably be back soon

Since I’m writing this in the middle of CA’s heat wave, I’m going to first say, THANKGOODNESS there is a Viet dessert place down the street from my house. Otherwise, I would have to drive to East San Jose for some che. The prices are a bit more expensive than Bambu($ 4 instead of $ 3something) and options are limited compared to Bambu, but its still solid che. Plus, they have a build-your-own for a dollar more(I think?) In which you can add up to 5 items in a cup. Price aside, it’s super satisfying, especially on a hot summer day. My dad loves the red bean che. Staff are super friendly. Space is small and cozy. Store is clean and has a lot of games on the side for those looking to hang out. They also have snacks and banh mi items there that I have not tried. Highly recommend for a nice che place without the loud music, screaming people, and long lines!

I am so happy I forgot my lunch at home today. Came here around 12ish and there was no wait at all to order. Got the BBQ pork bahn mi and the smashed avocado which came out to $ 9.39 total Bahn mi was exactly what I was craving. All your basic ingredients you hope to find(pickled daikon and carrot, fresh jalepeno, cucumber, cilantro with mayo) and that pork is freakin amazing! Only $ 3.75 for this huge sandwich, they do not skimp on meat or veggies. Smashed avocado was good, I liked the coffee jelly that’s in there. Next time I’ll try the special Che or matcha latte and hopefully I won’t forget to use the 15% off deal they have with a Unilocal check-in again.

I tried My Che with my family yesterday because it was SUPER hot out, but it’s not like I ever need an excuse to have some che. We tried the Halo Halo, which was really yummy and also ordered some Pandan waffles. The taste and texture of the waffles was on point! The only thing that sucked was that they only have one waffle iron, so we did have to wait awhile for 3 waffles. I’d definitely recommend it for the che and waffles, but I guess I’ll just have to come back to try the sandwiches and other che drinks! I’m looking forward to giving this place another try.

Excellent place! Clean, small but very cozy! Leo is a nice person, very professional and the vanilla latte and the Belgium waffle were the best, highly recommend the place, try once and you won’t be disappointed! I had to edit my review, after I wrote this, I asked Leo to clean the tables, there were dirty, and he did it, but I never imagined he’ll give me the worst coffee ever in my life, with so much caffeine that almost got crazy! I drink at 11:30 am, here I am at 2:00 am with a little bit of sleep, ufff hate that coffee, I’ll never ask a coffee there with caffeine, shame on you Leo!!!

You will not believe how great this place is. Their Che is amazing! They’re the only place I’ve seen that does a make your own Che. They have durian as one of their options! The coconut juice and basil seeds is so refreshing and light. I can tell there’s no added sweetners. I spoke with vu-the owner. You can tell in the way he speaks that he truly cares about his customers and your satisfaction. I was amazed with his service as he told me more about their contribution to Oak Grove high school and the community and I thought to myself, «I’m going to keep supporting this place!» They’re extremely nice, family owned, local, and they make super yummy Che and PANDANWAFFLES!!! The waffles are big, thick, crispy and chewy. I got it twice in a week because it’s so good! Why NOT support these guys?!

The green(pandan) waffles are BOMBDOTCOM. By that, I mean they’re huge, crispy on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside with plenty of flavor. Oh, and they’re only $ 2!

Never had ché until today(though I’ve been here a few times since the owners changed). The coffee is still fantastic, the workers are fantastic, the Belgian waffles are fantastic! And the ché? Well I’ve had little to no experience with it, but from here it tasted really good! Like a milky shaved iced thing with fruit in it. The coconut chunk was a bit funky, but then again, I’m kind of like a «fresh coconut» person. It’s definitely a cool place to frequent, I hope they’re in business for a long time because it’s a great place to go. More people need to come out to this place, but just like my gripe with the last shop that was here, the only negative is the location. Right in the middle of a shopping center, I don’t mind it so much my self, but typically businesses like café’s come and go because people don’t typically stop at them too much :/. And I like people watching, but that’s a different story for another day. All in all, I’d recommend coming here, period. Half a star missing for location, and another quarter of a half of a star for lack of blueberry muffins and the last quarter of the other half for not having siracha(jk the missing star is purely on location, nothing else)

The pandan waffle is delicious here! It cost $ 2 each, but it’s definitely worth it. Its a thick crispy Belgium waffle with a chewy texture in the middle. I would highly recommend it. Service was awesome here. I like how there are board games available for customers to enjoy, too.

A very fun, contemporary take on che that I think is highly accessible to the public, if you’re expecting the right things. I think some of the one star reviews are hilarious — bashing their coffee or how milk isn’t sweet. No seriously — do you walk into an In-N-Out expecting the finest salads in all the land? Check yourself before you wreck yourself. Now back to me and what I liked. I came maybe a month after this place opened on a Saturday afternoon, just me and a couple friends. Working behind the counter, guy was a bro and got us everything in under an minute. Bro hooked us up with Wifi and was chill too. I ordered a che with longans and basil seeds, and frankly I got what I was expecting at a reasonable price. Don’t order something because it’s at the top of the menu — at least look at the ingredients. They even have a build your own option if you have no idea what you want. I prefer this place to Bambu because the ones I’ve been too have been too sweet. But here I can actually adjust my options to exactly what I want. It’s a very nice alternative to a coffee shop environment and will be back for sure.

100% FOODIEAPPROVED!!! Heard about this place from a friend. I am a lover for Che and I found out it’s only about 10 mins from my house so I went to check it out. Pros: Parking lot has lots of space and it’s not too hard to find. Their menu is large with Che options, milk teas, coffee, snacks, and pandan waffles at decent prices! You can create your own Che! This is something I’ve never seen before! I ended up doing the ultimate Che(I believe it’s called that). It tasted absolutely wonderful! The toppings are fresh and plentiful. The coconut milk is fresh and just the right amount of sweetness! They don’t use too much ice in their cups, like how some other places do. The manager, Vu, has the best customer service ever! He was extremely helpful in my decisions and questions! Had a positive attitude and told me about the place a little bit. I had a great experience with him! They also do 5 star rewards! But instead of 1 point per item, it’s 1 point per dollar spent! SOLD!!! Cons: Maybe just have a more attractive sign? It’s only black and white.(Couldn’t really see any cons haha). Overall: Great Vietnamese dessert place with good quality treats, friendly people, and a great atmosphere! I’ll be coming here quite often My Che! Good job!

First of all the customer service is Outstanding. Everyone was so friendly, and they actually remember your name after your first visit. I have to stop by here everyday for my vanilla Latte. The smashed avocado is a must try, it is not overly sweet like most other che places. The waffle is HUGE and again not overly sweet, and not to mention the price is very reasonable. Keep up the good work guys!!!

As promised, I came back! So My Che‘ has had some time to settle a bit. I was craving some coffee and possibly some dessert and decided that since My Che‘ has both Che‘ and coffee, why not? It’s kind of a poor reason since a lot of Che‘ places have Vietnamese coffee and such. My Che‘, I expected, has lattes, drips, etc. I think it’s from café legato but who could really be sure. Benefit of doubt — they bought everything brand new since the place was already set up for coffee and Italian sodas already. Today, my My Che‘ stamp card was ripped up and combined with my fivestar account. I’ve always wondered why they had two reward systems but I guess it was just a neat way to keep people’s rewards recorded before the fivestar system was completely ready. Super nice of them to be so considerate! It definitely is a lot quieter today with a lot more room for me to find the outlets. The outlet set up is really simple but is only along either sides of the place. So, if you’re seated in the two tables next to the little aisle way or in the very front, you most likely won’t have access to any. I didn’t get a chance to ask for his name but the guy in front suggested I get a raspberry mocha since I was taking a good minute to stare down the menu with my battlefront eyes. There are so many options here, it’s ridiculous. They do say they offer(other than che‘) coffee, tea, frappes, smoothies, pastries and desserts on the window. Might I say, the guy in front(I’ve really got to ask for his name) is really accommodating. I asked for my mocha to be made with soy and his response was«ok, I’ll have to make that with less raspberry because the soy is already kind of sweet.» WOW. For the first time, EVER, I didn’t have to emphasize the SOY&LESSSWEET. This place definitely has had the time to mature and it hasn’t even been that long. Hooray! I was going to order a che‘ before leaving but I was told not to since my family had just made some. Bummer. I guess that just means I’ll be back again to try some more things off the menu! Good job, My Che‘!! I look forward to coming back.

Wow!!! This place IS good. Thanks Unilocalers. Found out about this place a couple weeks ago, and have been back about 9 times already. Vu, Leo, and Phan are all so friendly, and really care to hear customer suggestions/input. They make an effort to call their customers by name after the first visit. And their food/drinks are heavenly!!! So far I have tried: Matcha Latte — yummy Custom Che, my FAV!!!(Here you get to make your own che basically) – i usually get mine with: mung beans + pink tapioca + agar or pearl or chia seed thingy, with fresh coconut milk. The custom che is so incredibly delicious. The coconut milk is nice and thick yet light(and you get to choose level of sweetness which I love, bc some days I prefer a little less sweet on my drinks if I have other desserts). One night I ordered two Che’s to go just so I can save one for morning/breakfast. .happy. The pandan waffle is phenomenal! Chewy and moist inside, and nicely crusted on the outside. One night after work, I ordered 3 and ate it all myself. Yes. I didn’t share. Don’t judge me Huge fan! Pls keep up the awesome work guys!
Peace for U.

My friend and I have been meeting there bi-weekly for coffee for about ayear, when it was Café Legato. We loved that place then and were worried with the change of ownership and name. But, despite the fact that the previous owners were serving your coffee at your table(now you have to get it from the counter) and that the barista was able to make nice heart/flower shapes on your mochas(it’s just 2 little things but they made a big impact), the new owners are very friendly and the coffee is great so we decided to keep it as our location for our bi-weekly coffee times.

Pretty good place I use to come to the coffee shop before this opened, oh but yeah I got the tri color drink the one with the green gummy thing super good! Didn’t stay long asked for it to go and he gave me a thermal hot/cold bag(pretty impressive) with ice and I was like no sorry I only wanted the cup and he told me that he assumed that I wouldn’t drink it for awhile, that’s actually pretty smart lots of people there when I went um around 3pm on sat, but yeah the drinks pretty good would recommend my drink

Been here twice already in 3 days, I’m a fan! I love that a che place opened up nearby. Been a childhood visit since I had my first taste at a phở place: P This place is where Café Legato stood. The store is quaint & quite tidy. The staff are really friendly & helpful. I love their #1 che special. I am not a fan of red tapioca & they were most accomodating with replacing it with another item! Quick & efficient service as well! They do have five stars here so use it if you have an account! I’ll definitely be back to try more items like the Vietnamese sandwiches & pandan waffles as well as getting more che :)

Came back and was welcomed back by my name by manager Thien! Made me feel like at home being remembered and so friendly greeted ! Made my own drink this time and it’s still so very delicious ! Also got green coconut waffles and it tastes just like how my aunties make it. Delicious ! Love this place !!! On another note, saved half my Chè to bring home to my mom to try and tell her to go and try their drinks and I come to find out that she also visited in the morning and got a Mexican coffee and loved it! She as well talked to Thien and told me he was so friendly and helpful and kind and that she will be coming very often because of the great service she gets and delicious drinks. My mom fell in love with the Chè I brought her and said she was going to stop by tomorrow and get one herself. Thinking about stopping by again tonight as well on my way home from work to treat myself for this long day. Really the best Chè I have ever had !

It was pretty good. I ordered the My che special and the fruit came fresh and juicy. The entire thing was pretty big, but for $ 4.00 you get your money’s worth. They didn’t go too crazy with the coconut milk which can make or break this dessert by changing the texture of the entire thing to a thick and sticky monstrosity. The interior décor was nice and there are plenty of tables inside to sit down and just relax. The staff also remembers recurring customers, so they don’t have a bad attitude.

Suong Sa Hot Luu! So bomb. The coconut milk is fresh, but the Mung beans are a little to blended down for my taste. I didn’t even know it was in there and had to ask for more. We visited this place the other day and had such a bad experience! Asians with attitudes!!! Please treat your customers with manners and follow your customers’ requests because they’re paying for their drinks! My friend ordered a caramel latte. It tasted more like just a plain latte compared to a caramel latte. Café legato actually made it better I ordered a my che special. I expected it to be better than a latte because the place was known for their dessert(che). I was wrong. Disappointed! It was wayy too watery and not very highly flavored. I was warned by several of my friends about this place. But I still gave it a chance… and regretted it… Maybe I should stick to Bambu next time…

Yum! We dropped in a week or so ago not realizing this location used to be Café Legatto. It was nice to see that for the most part the décor remained. They were playing soft Christmas music and had some Christmas décor which was really nice. I love the fact that you can make and customize your own drink, since I tend to get frustrated with places like Bambu where the drink options contain some toppings you want and others you don’t — personally, this makes it much easier and the customization menu is easy to follow. As for quality, I love che but I can’t say I’ve had enough of it to compare. I opted for coconut milk and really enjoyed my drink; it didn’t get watered down and stayed consistently thick for the most part. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

First of all, this place is specialized in serving CHE(vietnamese dessert). They do serve coffee as a complementary so don’t expect too much. Their Che are not too sweet and the flavor is really consistent. I love the ambience here, very cozy. They did a very nice job in decorating this place. The staff are super friendly and considerate. They gave my gf che extra everything. We will come back.

I had a great first experience here! A group of my friends and I went to their grand opening ceremony, they were giving away cards to the first 50 customers that was worth $ 4(the price of a normal menu item), and 3⁄5 of us got those cards. The manager’s friend was nice enough to give us two other cards because our group didn’t all get a card! When we went to order the manager checked in on us a few times(he’s super young so I thought he was just another worker) and ended up giving my friend 2x her order because of a mess up. That means she only paid for 1 che and ended up with three(she used her free card and paid for another order, but they gave her 4 che’s). When the manager brought it out he knew it was his mistake and told my friend to keep all of the desserts, it was so nice and we totally didn’t expect it. The place itself is decorated really nicely, but a little mismatched haha. The décor feels like I’m in Europe, the music made me feel like I was in a rave, and then the desserts themselves are Asian. It still worked though! They also sold these little pastries for a buck each. Great prices overall. Great service.

Wow, how about don’t open until you learn to make a simple cup of coffee. The old coffee shop that used to be in this location was fantastic, and this place is a joke. I should have know when I asked if they could make a cup of regular coffee and they looked at me perplexed. It took the guy 5 mins… looks like he tried to make some sort of French press? But what he gave me was a half full cup! Hilarious. And when I asked what the deal was he just said oh it’s a big cup. Also this so called coffee shop doesn’t even have fresh cream or milk… just little creamer packets out for customers. It’s pretty bad. Lastly, there were 6 people working behind the counter, it looked more like a high school hang out. We will not be returning. This is more of a milk tea type of place and should not be calling itself a coffee shop.
