AN old school liquor store that seems to have been here forever. Not looking for booze I wanted a soft drink. Found some interesting Mexican Nestea with Maracuya flavor. Now that’s different… I think the guy working sized us up a bit but we found our items and made our way to not feel too profiled…3.5 stars

Great landmark. Old school place. Suck that it has bums hangin outside all the time. Way better then headquarter liquors.

Another beat down liquor store with everything from porn to childrens toys, bums out front and sketchy drug dealer types at the pay phone. This place gets 4 stars for all the memories both good and bad and the fact that it has been there forever. I’ve talked to old timers who shoulder tapped for drinks back in the early 60’s. The original Mr. T is long gone but the middle eastern guy who owns is now does’nt seem to mind when I call him Mr. T. A true wg. landmark from a time when willow glen was really a part of town with true soul and Lincoln Ave. had 2 supermarkets, clothing stores and a movie theater. Check it out next time you think about heading to Bev mo or overpriced wg liquors. I don’t know about the wine selection unless your looking for Thunderbird or M. D 20⁄20.
