I have to agree with the reviewer who said she felt unappreciated. I was a client of this business for about ten years and when they moved from a shop in a strip mall to a guest house in the owner’s backyard, I followed. It seems that after they stopped having to pay for a lease they began to view the work as more of a hobby and their customer service went downhill. I was sorry to go because they do know how to cut hair but I felt it was time to move on.

What would you think of a salon owner who cusses out an 89 year old woman while doing her hair, repeatedly telling her to «shut up» and then demands payment. My mother was a good and loyal customer but now after this abuse, no more. Words cannot express my outrage so let me save you some time: they are crazy, go elsewhere!

I’ve been coming to Bebe for years for color and cut and I’ve never been disappointed. She knows a lot about color and is very precise when she cuts hair. She always is accommodating with last minute appointments and makes sure you leave looking great and feeling happy about your hair. Tonight she did an amazing color on my bayalage! If you’re on a long wait list to see a hairstylist for a bayalage or ombré, contact Bebe!

I used to be a client here, but I felt really unappreciated. No doubt they keep up with the trends and do good work. But they try to push a lot of services on you, even when you decline. I feel like it was a used car sales lot. They also have moved from a real salon to a guest house in the owner’s home. But their prices are still really hiked up, actually inflated. The last straw was when I was getting a haircut and the owner asked me if I wanted a manicure while I was waiting for my color to be done. I said no thank you. And she said, «don’t tell me I didn’t ask you» in a very rude and mean way. Who treats their customers like that? After that, I got tired of having services pushed on me. So, they lost a client of many years. Why should I go to a place where they don’t appreciate the patronage? And now I still get these coupons and emails. Too late. Should have done that when I was a customer. I now gladly take my patronage somewhere else where it is appreciated.

Bebe is the best hair person ive ever had, Im a 19 year old Guy and all i have to do is walk in and she remembers how i like my hair whih is the best thing ever because i hate retelling someone how to cut my hair after a month or two but bebes memory is great. I personally fell in love with the scalp massages before she cuts your hair they are almost Orgasmic and they keep me coming back for more. Sincerly Nick P.

Bebe is the best she has been highlighting and cutting my hair for 3 years… she always does a great job! Best wedge cuts I have ever had! People stop me all the time to find out where I get my hair done!

I have been going to Bebe for my hair since… I can’t remember how long. She is consistently wonderful and I just have to sit down and let her work her magic on me. I always get tons of compliments on my hair and color even long after I get it done. Bebe even helped me get my eyebrows back to a normal shape. I recently started getting my manicures and pedicures here too. They offer Shellac, and if you’ve never tried it, you should. My mom’s also had her hair styled by Vicky and she said it was the best styling she ever had. Price…worth every penny.

Previously located in a shopping center next to Cosentino’s on Silver Creek Valley Road — the old location is now under new ownership and renamed something else. I have been going to Bebe on and off for years — she’s been the only hairstylist that I have gone back to since my last hairstylist packed up and left without a trace. The only reason for the«off» times is when I needed a haircut badly but was not in the Bay Area. Now that I have relocated back to San Jose, I called Bebe for a trim. I showed up at their old location, and the new people there were nice enough to give me Moda’s new location and Bebe’s cell phone number. Turns out they moved to a residential neighborhood less than a mile away back in June 2010. The new location is smaller, but in a good, cozy way. Bebe is still terrific, and I highly recommend her. Basic cuts are $ 50 before tip. Free bang trims.

You get what you pay for? Ummm… no. I got a pedicure here that cost $ 40 and it was horrible. The process was alright in terms of the foot soak and massage. However, for the pedicure itself the lady decided to give my french pedi a strange translucent red colored top coat that she told me would look more natural. No, bitch, it did not look more natural. It looked like my toes were bruised/had been in cold for too long. On top of that, it chipped less than a day later.

You get what you pay for! I should have gone to Barbarella per a recommendation to have eyelash extensions. I just wanted to see what it would look like, have some fun and wow, it can be expensive. But, you get what you pay for! I thought Silver Creek Valley Road, nice neighborhood, it’s less expensive than Barbarella in Willow Glen, I’ll try it! After a little over an hour, looking in the mirror, I didn’t look ANY different. I have lots of fine long eyelashes, maybe I should have gone for the tint? I expressed my dissatisfaction and the woman kept repeating herself that if you apply too many ‘eyeglasses’ your real ‘eyeglasses’ wont stand the weight. So not only was I completely disappointed but I had to WAIT around to pay for services that I was completely unhappy with! They didn’t care ONE bit that I was completely disappointed and unsatisfied with my new ‘eyeglasses’. I later on went to my hair appointment, a day of beauty is what I had in mind, and the women who was washing my hair asked me if I had lash extensions because she also went through the training. She then asked me how long the person worked on me then told me that typically lash extensions take up to 2 hours minimum and they should have applied at least 30 per lid, minimum and she had counted that I had 15 per lid. The next day at least 5 of the eyelashes came out and I had to trim the rest of make them look even.
