Metro Carpet & Flooring

Metro Carpet is great! They got stains out of my carpet that previously kept coming back and even helped when my daughter spilled a can of paint on the rug. Metro laid hardwood for me that turned out beautifully. They know their products and the service and pricing is straight forward and fair. I have another upcoming flooring project and Metro will certainly be the first place I call.

I have a rental unit and therefore too much experience with flooring and carpet installers. While putting our downstairs project out to bids I came to meet Evan, the owner of Metro Carpet. It was like a breath of fresh air. Evan was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I found him to be very honest as well. He brought samples by and I wound up saving hundreds of dollars on materials by using his suppliers. I went to one of his suppliers to check out a product he did not have samples for and found him to be highly regarded in his own circle. I have been very pleased with the results of all of Metro’s work. After the carpet installation downstairs, I had him install resilient flooring in several rooms and was able to get a tricky installation without having to resort to having seams in doorways. Today I had the last bedroom carpet installed and I couldn’t be more pleased. They were quick. What sets Metro apart from the rest of the pack? They are kind and ethical-we’re talking the kind of folk you would want next door to you! They are careful in your home while moving material in and scrap out. While stretching and installing carpet they do not scuff or scar the baseboards. That means no painting touch up. They cheerfully clean up after themselves. In other words-​no self promotion-​no excuses-​just great service! I just wish Evan painted houses as well!

I contacted Metro Carpet and found that Evan was extremely knowledgeable and honest. He helped me decide which flooring type would be the most suitable for the area I was working with and his recommendation was right on.
