Lucky Foot Relaxation

I have been to a few of these types of massage places before, and Lucky Foot Relaxation was probably the worst experiences I have ever had. We were demanded payment before any services provided, okay I guess I can get behind it. The cashier then told me that my tip was insufficient. I am a firm believer in a tip that represents the quality of services provided and told them that I normally tip afterwards.
The massage itself was alright, nothing to write home about. The towels they used for cleaning up massage oil were much too hot and very rough. The massage didn’t feel very good and during the back rub portion, and I felt as if she was grinding my face into the table.
Upon finishing, the two masseuses stood in the doorway and demanded a tip for their services. We gave them a $ 10 for the subpar service on top of what was already on the check. Then they demanded more tips. I have never seen a more greedy business and will never return. Avoid at all costs.

The massage from the women either Linda or Amy are very good. Stronger than the men. Completely fixed my neck pain from computer programming .The place is relaxing and you can hear people snoring as they fall asleep. Because the foot massage relaxes them so much .The body massage worked in the back, neck, leg and arms. Linda does neck massage where she puts one hand under neck then massage between vertebrae on the other side .Can hear cracking .Neck and back very relaxed .Best one hour in San Jose. Helps sleep

Dishonest and very unprofessional new owner lady !
I used to come to this place called previously Bamboo relaxation and enjoyed very much. Now that new lady took this place over I am very disappointed. It is not about therapists (by the way there is no proof of their certifications by state of California) but the way this lady is doing business. Here is what happened. Came this evening when none of the clients were there yet — place was empty. Lady smiled greeted me and I decided to have combo massage that I paid 50 dollars cash in front as she requested. I asked to added sea salt and suddenly lady asked for extra 5 dollars even though the price for the sea salt is listed 3 dollars (she will try to get every possible dollar out of the pocket and change price immediately for higher while she sees you really want something). I corrected her and mentioned that Sea Salt is for 3 dollars and she agreed. Not a big deal that is fine. She asked me if I wanted male or female and I requested male therapist since I needed stronger pressure and she agreed. At this time 2 other ladies entered this business wondering if they will decide to get a foot massage and owner asked me to sit down and wait at this point. She took care of the other 2 ladies she would discussed with them what they needed and kept me waiting. Eventually she took away from me the only available male therapist I requested to accommodate the other client that came after me. It seemed to me that the fact I was there first and my 53 dollars did not matter and she did not care any more because she wanted to get the other clients to pay. Finally lady herself decided to start my massage. I try to communicate with her again about my request of male therapist but suddenly she did not understand English anymore. She started massage may neck with 1 hand and at the same time answering the phone and trying to accommodate others for massage. At this point a had enough this was not relaxing at all with all these interruptions and phone conversations. I decided to stop this session and leave this place and did not appreciated the way she was doing her business. Of course forget about giving money back to me. When I was leaving she stated she could not finf any proof of me paying even though I paid cash and of course she did not give me anything for it as a proof –She new I paid cash .
. Be careful and asked for some proof of payment even if it is cash or especially if it was cash –she charges at very beginning once she gets money she does not care any more. Be careful ask for recite if you pay cash otherwise you have no prof of paying. Very dishonest very disappointing .Also IRS should really look into her CASH business !!! Never going back to this place !!!

I was unaware that this place changed ownership. I believe it used to be called Bamboo? It’s not as good now. Prices are about the same, but annoyed anytime a retailer wants to charge me an extra $ 1 to use a credit/​debit card. Don’t they realize that what they’re losing in customer experience is far more expensive than gaining a dollar per transaction?
I had a 30 minute foot massage, which was really good. I then had an hour massage, which was not as good. They do not have proper massage tables and I left with a neck pain that I didn’t have when I arrived. Also, the massage was fairly torturous.
With so many foot and body massage places available in this area, I recommend going elsewhere.

There is a cozy quit place, the music slow and softly. Good price, $ 20 a hr, i love they press my back, there is so comfortable and relaxation.
Anyway, its best foot massage i ever try.

I have been coming to Lucky Foot for several months and each time I have received excellent massages from Linda, Mary and Monica. The business is very clean and both the main room and the private rooms smell very fresh. It is a very relaxing environment with the music is at just the right level and the employees direct their attention towards you, not talking between them as I have experienced in other Foot Spas. You may experience some communication issues, between English and Chinese, but be patient as the owner is doing her best to make this business successful. I will continue to support this business and get my weekly massages here.

Love this place the best foot spot in San Jose I come here once a week to get my fix in. The people here are always nice and actually spend time they get all the cracks out of me

I have been there 2 times. Once for body massage and other time for foot massage. And it was really really good. Masseurs were very professional. And the environment is upscale and relaxing.

Excellent massage — I had a couple small requests of my masseuse and he met them quickly and without issue (extra hot water for my foot & a knee support pillow). Only one star deducted for a little too much inter-​staff chatter it was short. It just kinda brought me out of the ‘zone.’ Clean clean clean and very kind staff.

I believe this place has changed in the past month or two. It used to be bamboo foot relaxation. On my most recent visit I was less impressed than I had been previously. First I was asked to pay prior to my foot massage… Strange. I was paying via credit card and was charged an additional $ 1.01 for doing that… Not sure that is allowed. Next there was conversation happening in the room and close by throughout my entire massage. I really felt like shhhhusshing them but didn’t. I most likely will look for another place to go in the future. One of my pet peeves in a place like this is out loud talking. That is not relaxing to me at all. The massage was good. The paper towel covering the face hole when I turned over was not adequately covering the vinyl. I couldn’t get over how unhygienic it felt. I will most likely try to find out what happened to the old place. Jack was my favorite. I’m still giving 3 stars because I’ve had great service here in the past.

My friend and did one hr foot massage is very good,
they work really hard on my back and I felt very relaxed and loose on my back muscle. It’s very worth it. $ 20 one hr include head back and legs ;foot, it’s like mini body massage. i will definitely come back.

Stopped by yesterday tried 1 hour body massage with a lady, the massage was excellent and the table is very wide and comfortable. My therapist is skilled and my back pain was gone. I am very satisfied my service will back for sure.
