I had a daddy/daughter date at Lisa’s Tea Treasures and it was awesome! My daughter has been here before so she knew what to do. The hostess and the waitress were amazingly helpful(they must have sensed my discomfort…) and made good suggestions for the food. My daughter is also allergic to nuts and they were amazingly accommodating. Overall, we had a great experience and I can’t wait to have another daddy/daughter date again :) Thank you!

Staffs are very nice, good atmosphere! Other than that food was really below average. This place is pretty pricey for the atmosphere only.

My wife went here for a company lunch today… Here is her thoughts– Lisa’s tea treasures: perfect atmosphere for ladies day out, remembering playing tea party with your sisters and actual tea parties at Gramma’s house when I was little. Tea is excellent food was good not extraordinary and rather expensive. The Service was just right.

Came here for my baby shower, they said they were going to confirm the final count a week before the event, they never called so I called and left a message. Then I get like three calls from them to confirm a few days before the event, I guess they don’t check their messages. Anyways besides that the food was good, I got the special and my friends got the other ones in the menu. We got to choose two types of teas which was fine. Cute shop in Santana Row.

I came here on a busy Saturday with my mom and sister. My sister is obsessed with tea and we thought this would be something a little fun and different. It was kind of last minute and it being a lazy Saturday, I was VERY under dressed! While there are no rules or anything, I felt a little out of place, lol. We weren’t terribly hungry and me and my sister were mostly interested in the tea, but there was a 12.95 per person requirement on ordering. We ordered three«meals» on the light menu and it turned out to be enough for us. My mom opted to order coffee instead and that was a HUGE mistake! It literally tasted like water with dirt. It was TERRIBLE!!! I had the Mint tea which was delicious and my sister had the strawberry-peach which was also very good. We had an assortment of sandwiches, a strawberry salad and some hot savories. The sandwiches were fine, but I would highly doubt that the fillings were made in house. The same goes for the hot savories, they seemed like the frozen small appetizers you can heat up at home. The desserts were better and the salad was very good. So all in all, don’t come expecting a fantastic meal. It was cute, and fun for a girls day.

I really hate to give this place a bad review since I love the Campbell location so much. The service here is terrible, linens are stained, and the menu is pretty bad in comparison. I want to love it because it’s a bigger location and its in Santana Row, but I just can’t. I’ll be surprised if this place stays open. Please fix this! I want to like it I really do…

The bad– extremely poor service and pricey. The good– its cute, its fun, its an experience every girl wants to have. Can this place be any cuter? Tip– can by tea leaves and pots to go.

I was really looking forward to hosting my Bridal Luncheon here. I had checked out the website and the pricing/reservation/packages weren’t exactly clear to me. I decided to call to learn more about the options and to make a reservation. The woman who answered the phone was rude and short with me. I had even asked if she had the time at the moment to explain the packages etc. She simply cut me off and asked the date I needed and the number of people and then finished by saying«You can just come in and order off of the menu…» I am sad to have had this experience with this condescending, impatient woman, because now I need to find another place for my luncheon. Not sure why she would act as if I putting her out.

I’ve been wanting to try Lisa’s Tea Treasures for a while, but wasn’t motivated to do so until I found a Groupon coupon. We made reservations for a Saturday afternoon. GPS takes you somewhere near Pasta Pomodoro, but it’s on the other side of the street opposite to the theatre and diagonally across Thea. We were graciously greeted upon arrival and got seated immediately. Thank God, I mentioned about the Groupon coupon, because they had a separate and rather limited menu for the voucher, if not I would have ordered something from the menu and would have ended up paying the whole price. Our teas were served first and we really enjoyed it. Then came the three tier plates with all kinds of goodies — scones, fresh strawberries, desserts, cookies, sandwiches. Looked neat. I started with the sandwiches and went«woah woah woah wait, I’ve had these before. This is the chicken salad I buy from Safeway and make my sandwiches with». A bit disappointed, but I went on to try other sandwiches and could tell right away that the fillings were store bought. Ok next came the other goodies and desserts which were very obviously got from Costco. You gotta be kidding me, I pay $ 50 for something I can get in Costco for WAY cheaper??? By then I was extremely disappointed. There’s no way I’m coming back to pay an arm and a leg to someone who arranges Costco food in fancy servers. I can do that myself at home! Never coming back ever again.

This is a lovely place to sit and have tea. Tea choices and snacks are excellent. I have a friend with special needs(she uses a wheelchair) and they couldn’t have been more kind or helpful. Lovely old china and silverware, cute tea cozies, antique furniture: This is like sitting in your British aunt’s parlor for a nice cuppa. One note, from a person who lived in Europe and visited the UK often: milk should always be poured into the cup first, then the tea. This prevents the milk from scalding and heating unevenly. There are many discussions about this in the UK, so for entertainment you can go look this up on the web. :)

I’ve come here a couple times with my family to celebrate my birthday! It’s a super cute spot, and it’s such a girly thing to do with your girlfriends and girl relatives. We made a girls day out of it by going to the spa and having high tea, which we all enjoyed. They have a gluten free menu, but it’s not tasty whatsoever. I really hate that they don’t put enough effort into making gluten free being delicious. It’s really not that difficult to make gluten free be tasty. Given the growing population of people who are gluten free, they should make a serious effort to improve the high tea experience for them. If they do this, perhaps I would give this place a 5. It’s cute, it’s fun, and they have yummy flavored teas!

Purchased a groupon for my friends and I and made a reservation for 6 people on Valentines Day. The 4 person groupon included a variety of sandwiches, scone, and desserts with a pot of tea. Granted that one of our party members was 15 minutes past our reservation time, but service was so slow and bad. There are only two rooms with about a total of 30 guests, yet, service was not attentive at all. We drank all the water and lotus biscuits given, along with asking for more cream and jams three times without getting more. The room was so warm, and we finally had to ask them to turn on the air as we were sweating balls. The tea was good, but since my friend and I(who were sitting at opposite ends of the table) ordered the same tea, they gave us one big pot. Smart, but not with our seating arrangements as my poor friend in the middle kept having to deal with our reach of going back and forth for more tea. The food took so long, we all seriously had about 5 biscuits each at least. The trio of eats for each 2 people with the groupon deal had mismatched number of things which was odd, so we had to cut a few things in half. The sandwiches were pretty good, and the scone as well. The desserts were way too sweet. My friend who frequents the Campbell location said this location was nothing in compared to the Campbell one in terms of service and space. It was unfortunate they added the gratuity since we had a party of 6, as they did not deserve the extra tip with the lackluster service. Would not return.

I feel rather embarrassed giving this place a review since it basically says I went to a tea party, but here goes! From the moment you enter to the moment you leave, coming here is an experience worthwhile to try out even just once if you get the chance. You are properly seated at your table and the host points out all the accommodations on the table. Once you are ready to be served, you ring a bell and immediately, a server will come to your service. The menu is quite impressive and gives you a variety of selections to try. You can even select your bites depending on which country of flavors you’d like to try. We opted for the Louis XIV’s Favorite(An Afternoon tea in France), a scone with Devonshire cream and preserves, Parisian Chicken Croissant tea sandwich, Roquefort Pecan tea sandwiches, and the Brie En Croute. The Parisian Chicken Croissant tea sandwiches are delicious! To accompany my meal, our waitress recommended that I have the Champagne Raspberry tea. You get your own tea pot and its even wrapped in its own«warming blanket», so your drink stays nice and warm. The plates and silverware were quite impressive considering that they are made in London and local artists have their artwork displayed on the walls to sell. Although the portions look incredibly miniature, you leave the restaurant feeling satisfied. The prices you pay are steep, but I guess it’s the experience and the delicious treats that you are paying for. If you’re looking to have a tea party in a quaint and charming atmosphere with a few friends, feel free to give this place a look!

I like Lisa’s Tea Treasures, but not this location. I bought a groupon last month and called at least 2 – 3 times per day for almost two weeks trying to get a reservation. If you don’t take online reservations, you should be better about picking up your phone during your open business hours. Once I did get through, I wanted to a lunch time slot and I got one, but as soon as I mentioned groupon, she said they had no more groupon slots available for lunch and so we had to take a later afternoon slot. I was lucky my friends were flexible and so we took it. Once we got there, the setting and food is what you expect of Lisa’s Tea Treasures. It’s cute and the food and tea are good. The service started out fine, although it took awhile to take our order. The food and tea came out fairly quickly and my friends and I had a nice chance to catch up with each other. But when we got the bill, I mentioned I had a groupon and the waitress looked surprised. She said I should have mentioned that in the beginning because we chose the wrong food to order. Well, not my fault. I mentioned it on the phone and we even had to take a later time slot thanks to groupon. In the end, I paid for the difference. But I didn’t appreciate her attitude given how long it took me to get this reservation in the first place and the fact that I didn’t get the time slot I wanted. Then she abruptly said that they’re closing and we had to leave immediately. I like the whole tea experience, but will not be coming back to this specific location.

My daughter had a wonderful birthday celebration here yesterday! They were very catering and patient with our group as parking at The Row was mighty challenging that day — my children and I arrived half an hour late. The kids loved the Court Jester Surprise and I absolutely loved their vegetarian option! My brother and his girlfriend really enjoyed their choices as well — can’t recall which ones though. The tea service was wonderful and the owner surprised my daughter with a beautiful gift! Thank you Lisa’s Tea Treasures!

I have been coming here every year for a Ladies’ Tea for the past few years through work. And every time, we make reservations for our large party. When we arrive, they never have the room ready and seem surprised by how many people there are, there are never enough chairs in the room. It’s not like we’re bringing extra people, we made a reservations and pre-ordered our food… Service is always slow and they always run out of tea. The ladies running the shop are insanely rude, but the women working have all generally been very nice! I actually really enjoy the food and the tea here though! The sandwiches and scones have always been fresh and the desserts are always delicious. I leave stuffed and highly caffeinated, exactly how I love to live my life.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. I was surprised because I only heard poor things about the Santana Row location. Give this place a try because I enjoyed having afternoon tea here. With our reservations at 11AM, we were the first to enter the shop. They were very helpful when suggesting which tea flavors to pick. Loved the sandwiches and the strawberry peach tea. I love my tea with cream so it was nice that they brought it out without asking. I always enjoy the ginger biscuits with lemon curd so I wish our jar of ginger biscuits was well stocked instead of the couple lining the bottom. Overall, great afternoon tea experience. We were never rushed and we spent a good couple of hours sitting, eating, and chatting at our table. They did not ask us to get out(something that this location is known for), which was greatly appreciated.

We made reservations for a party of 9. They made us preorder our food and our choices were Dutchess Delight or My Lady’s Respite. I was the only one that had My Lady’s Respite and the sandwiches were ok but the scone was delicious. We had Earl Grey tea and decaffeinated boysenberry. I only tasted the Earl Grey and it was good. The atmosphere was dainty and our server was delightful. We had barely been there for 2 hrs when the hostess asked us to leave by saying they had another reservation coming in. I guess next time when you want to celebrate a family milestone you don’t go to Lisa’s Tea Treasures to enjoy your time together.

Celebrated my nieces’ birthday with 10 of her closest friends. When we walked in, there were other people waiting to be checked in/seated. So the lady in the front starts to seat people and finally after 10 minutes of waiting we were finally able to check in. My niece and her friends were seated in the yellow room which consisted of other tables with large groups so it made the room feel small, cramped, and hot. The ladies who were helping the girls seemed like they were all over the place and one of the girls that was pouring tea/pink lemonade didn’t even smile or seem like she wanted to be there. The girls were brought their food on a tea plate which consisted of 2 slices of pizza and a few pigs in a blanket. The food was not merely enough and we had to order more, which we got charged for. I felt like the service was below average and the people who worked there didn’t pay enough attention to our party. My sister and I had to attend to the girls for most of the party and had to keep asking for refills of the lemonade. Also, we were booked for 2 hours for the party and when we had 30 minutes left, we were told by the lady in charge that we needed to hurry up and finish up because there was another party coming. Ummmm… WTF??? Are you kidding me. Not coming back to this place for sure. First and last time.
