Lakshmi’s Floral Designs

I personally have the pleasure of knowing Lakshmi. She is a very genuine woman and takes pride in her work. Lakshmi did the flowers for my wedding a did a wonderful job. The flowers were done beautifully and were above and beyond what I had expected.

I hired Mrs. Lakshmi for my wedding two weeks ago. I found her in a hurry because my wedding was coming up soon so I trusted the 1 Unilocal review and her website. I wish I had hired somebody else. I was a very laid back and agreeable bride and all my vendors went above and beyond to make sure we were happy except for the florist. We got married in a forest and it all was DIY
1. This florist works out of her home and it is just her that you work with. No company, no boss, no assistants; no insurance that you get what you pay for
2. She had a poor attitude (except for when we first met) and actually complained to me on the morning of my wedding that she had to deliver my bouquet and corsages to the hotel saying she «Wasn’t supposed to come here». No congratulations or smile
3. When I arrive to the venue minutes before the ceremony, the centerpiece flowers were nothing as we planned. I said neutral colored flowers would look great during our in person consultation and agreement, and she used really DARK purple flowers.
4. She always seemed annoyed and like she did not want to do the job. She wanted things her way or she would be unpleasant.
5. She refused to pick up our vases even though she lives much closer. My husband spent a whole day delivering them to her house to find her relaxing when he got there. It would have taken her under an hour, and we would have paid her extra
If your planning a large event and want someone who is kind, reliable, and hard working, avoid this florist. She still has not gotten back to me about me not being satisfied with the centerpieces, and she probably never will. She has no boss so I can’t do any thing. Save your hard earned money, go somewhere else!

My wife and I ended up running late for our first meeting, but she was very understanding and quite flexible. She possesses wonderful insight into the right kinds of combinations — the designs she came up with were gorgeous. Classic yet distinct. Our interactions with her were always warm; she had the right ideas but also wanted to make sure that the designs had our personal stamp.
So many friends and family at the wedding commented on the flowers.

Lakshmi did the florals for my wedding last summer and she did SUCH a beautiful job. The flowers were fresh and inventive. My wedding bouquet looked like no one’s I’d ever seen (and trust me, I’d read my share of wedding magazines)! I really didn’t know much about flowers or about what I really wanted for my wedding. I was able to give Lakshmi an idea of my dress and she went with it and I really couldn’t have been happier. She is a MUST if you are planning any event, wedding or not, and need florals. I can’t wait to use her services again. Her floral work truly is art.

She makes sure that you are satisfied with your choices of flowers, colors, and arrangements. We had boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, and bouquets. She also makes sure the flowers are in season, most cost-​effective, and the most high quality and fresh and blooming as possible. Lakshmi also gives very helpful suggestions from her experience in a look that might best match or fit your venue, theme, and attire. The flowers turned out fresh, lively, colorful, bright, and exquisite. The flowers even lived on for a couple weeks after the wedding! She is extremely responsive, flexible, and negotiable. I highly recommend Lakshmi as your florist for a special occasion. We are so thankful to work with such a personable, kind, and professional person with great service!
