Been going to a stylist for quite some time, I have been wanting to go to a Barber shop to get a cut. Reading the reviews and it’s convenient location led me here. My first two visits were walk-​ins, and was lucky enough to get the same barber Sonny. Coming into this place I didn’t have a real plan for my hair, because my old stylist would give me the same cut every time, but Sonny asked me a lot of questions and I gave him a few inputs and told him to do kind of whatever and I must admit I love my haircut. I felt a lot of care and time was put into my cut. Been back 4 times now, but I make appointments so I don’t have to wait. Highly recommended and I have been getting a lot of compliments on the new cut. $ 18 bucks for a cut. I was paying more than double at a Salon. Win Win.

What can I say about Krown other than that it’s a home away from home. You get a high-​quality haircut with top-​notch customer service! I could write more, however, words would fail me in expressing the awesomeness of Krown Barber Shop.

These guys are real. It’s a no nonsense barbershop. You won’t feel rushed. I have been going here for a few years now. Prices are fair for the quality of service you get.
All the barbers are pretty decent, I go to steve sr but like I said all are equally awesome.

Good Place to get a cut. I usually go to Steve or Jr. I known these guys for a long time and they are always friendly and are able to get me in when I make an appointment or just walk in. They do great work and I always come back to see them when i am in town. Keep up the good work gents!!!

Awesome place to get your haircut. I did not have an appointment but was getting my haircut within 20 minutes of walking in the door. They did a great job quick and professional. Will definitely be going back.

By far the best place I’ve taken my son for a haircut. They spend a lot of time making sure it’s just right. The prices are very fair for children and we do not feel rushed out of there. The barbers are all friendly and helpful. I was a little hesitant at first thinking it may be too grown up, however, my son enjoys it and likes going there.

I’ve been looking for a good barber for a long time. I’ve finally found him here. Thanks Jacob!!! I don’t know what these other «expert» barbers (customers) complain about their cuts. Be detailed about what you want. I told Jacob what I wanted, even though I wasn’t using proper barber terminology. He understood what I wanted and nailed it. Come the second time he recognized me and knew exactly what I wanted. The staff is great and their customer service is exceptional. You treat others the way you want to be treated. Don’t come in with a snobby attitude or think your Prince Harry and expect great service. I have no problem with Krown now my boys and I come here for our cuts and even recommended to my cousin and loves his haircut. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!!!

Best place for a hair cut hands down! My barber Jacob is the best barber that I’ve had and he also cuts my 2 year old too. Love this place and they sell my favorite pomade Suavecito. You want a good hair cut look no further come here and you won’t regret it I promise.

It’s amazing how a good haircut can make you feel. Jacob cleaned me up nice today, great cut and he really took his time. He even used a straight razor on the edges. I like that they don’t rush when people are waiting. Skilled cuts, good conversation, two thumbs up.

Best barber shop in San Jose by a long shot! I have been coming here for years and now bring my young sons here as well. The guys are patient with the young ones and do a fabulous job. Jr takes his time and it’s a perfect cut every time.

Make your appointment a day ahead and you walk right in. Hair cut was quick and it was top notch. The barber knew exactly what I wanted and got it done Highly recommend it.

Been here a few times to bring my 6 yr old. It’s a awesome family owned business. Owner and staff are really friendly. My son has gone to a few different barbers and they are all good. Boys cuts are $ 15 and adult men’s are $ 18. It’s well worth the price as they take their time and do a fantastic job. Try to call and make a appointment before coming in. They accept walk ins but it can get quite busy especially on Fridays/Saturday’s.

Took my 83 year old father for a haircut. Steve cut his hair, it looked great! Thank YOU for making him look handsome again!

They need a better system for dealing with walk-​ins. My husband was completely ignored and skipped over three times before he finally left. It was really disrespectful– not sure what their system is.

Professionals who know their craft. First time getting a cut at Krown and right away was made to feel like family. Steve cut my hair and did a bang up job. Everyone was friendly and the price for the quality was outstanding. Definitely coming back to Krown.

How did Unilocal know I went there? Ha Ha. A nice welcoming place. The guys are great. I love the atmosphere. The haircut was nice and relaxing, non-​rushed, and I was treated very well.

I wish I had more to right. I walked in happy and left happy and satisfied. This business is in my old neighborhood and I still support businesses there even though I am 15 minutes away. They are located next to the Orchard Supply on the right side. Keep businesses alive on Cottle Road!

So me and my friend stop here because he was looking for a new barber to cut his hair and I had read great reviews. Well we walked in and we though we would be greeted well but NO a older man ask if we had an appointment. we didn’t, because we weren’t sure with who to book the appointment with. So then he said «we cant help you» ??? I was was like that’s it not a single let me see what I can do for you! Nothing so we just left. If he would had ask us to wait or schedule for some other day we would have. But he was rude.

This is a solid hair cutting place. It’s simple and straight forward. Between my son and I we’ve worked with every barber in the place and never had a bad haircut. Junior especially is very patient and diligent with his cuts.
On Saturdays you really have to have an appointment. You likely won’t get in without one. If you do come as a walk-​in, they have about six chairs to wait. And there’s a good chance that you’ll wait. All the barbers have regulars and the regulars keep coming back.
My cut is pretty simple, but I do know that some of the guys will do the sophisticated stuff like patterns. A couple of the barbers are artists with their trade.

It’s one of those experiences when you know you’re going to come out looking like Edward Scissorhands cut your hair just because the barber seems incompetent and rushed. I warned him about the wax in my hair, but he didn’t seem to care.
It might’ve just been the kid since he was the only one taking walk-​ins, nonetheless, I had to go home and fix it myself.
Not worth $ 18 if you’re going to walk-​in, schedule an appointment with barbers who know what they’re doing.
