Brought my teen son in due to migraines. From the beginning the front desk people (male & female) were very friendly and knowledgable. The medical assistant Lauren was very friendly. Dr K introduced himself to myself and my son, was very friendly, gave us great information as we don’t know much about Migraines. Gave us some wonderful advice and solutions to keep these migraines at bay. He was very thorough with his exam. Would definitely come back to see him and or refer people to him. Exactly what I expect in a medical practice and they all delivered. Thank you!

We took our teenage son to see Dr. Koukkari, on the recommendation of our pediatrician. He was suffering from chronic back pain and headaches, and after an exam that lasted less than 4 minutes and basically involved looking into our son’s eyes, this doctor pulled us aside to tell us there was NOTHING wrong with our son and that the pain was all in his head. He suggested we seek a psychiatrist.
Several trips to the Stanford Pain Clinic later, we found out that our son had contracted viral meningitis and was suffering from post-​viral syndrome!
Dr. Koukkari was rude, insensitive, dismissive and condescending. I would not go see him or recommend that anyone else go see him, if my life depended on it!
