This place was great. We had an event for our non-profit middle-school student program here, and though it was on a Saturday, they provided a staff member to open up the building and supervise the area for us… for free! There was a nice open space for us to hold our presentations and lessons in, along with a kitchen to set up our food. The lobby was a great area for our students to chill in during breaks. Also, there were lawns and a nice playground for them to play on as well. It’s not exactly a brand-new place, but it was great for our event.

Gangsta childhood memories. Welcome to my hood. ESSJ all day over here. I remember taking a Saturday morning self defense karate class here and doing some Christmas Arts & Crafts class over here when I was like 6 or 7 years old. They also have like parks & recreation leagues over here like T-Ball, basketball, and flag football I believe. I played t-ball over here when I was 5. I know they occasionally have hip-hop events over here too like b-boy battles, but I’ve never made it out for one of those. There used to be a library over here, but they moved that east down Tully Road next to the new Spartan Little League fields, since they aren’t located right next to the Santa Clara County Fair Grounds anymore. We used to have our end of the year summer picnic and trophy ceremonies here at Hillview Park for Eastridge Little League too. A bunch of drunk parents and coaches and hyperactive kids. Those were the days.
