This is one of the finest Mexican Food spots in San Jose. I have been eating here for years and I refuse to go any where else. The help is always friendly and courteous and the food is excellent. Keep up the GREAT work!

Thanks Larry for introducing me to Guadalajara Market, the Lengua(cows tongue) is the first I have had in many years and it was all the good comfort food I remember it to be when made by Mom. There isn’t much«market» to GM& Products, it is really about good home cooked Mexican food served in a burrito style, taco, or combination plates. The price is right; but, you need to speak a little Spanish, it helps when you are ordering. There is a selection of several different styles of cooked meats and you do not need to have the tongue or pig snout, that is for the more brave gringo and normal Mexican.

The new ownership at Guadalajara Market sucks! It’s been awhile since I ordered tamales from this market and needless to say this year I was extremely disappointed! The masa was dry and the tamales had hardly any meat filling inside. If I could give it less than one star I would.

You need to come to this place and try the Chile Colorado . I drive all the way to this place because I can’t find any place by my house that makes it the way they do. It’s really good. I really recommend this place try one of the Super Burrito it’s lots of food for cheap.

Totally get your masa there for tamales. Holidays are coming up, I can wait for the weather to cool, so I can make a batch of tamales! Burritos are great if you’re on the go. A bit messy, but if your heading home, well then enjoy either way! :) :) They go way back.

When I was a kid it was cool to do gross things. Picking your nose, chasing girls around the schoolyard with bugs, and eating cow tongue. Yes, this was where I was introduced to the delicacy known by the Mexicans simply as «Lengua» I also learned«Cesos». I pretty much learned all my standard Mexican burrito meats here. My Uncle Jerry would drive us here after a hard day of sweating shovels at the family ranch. It was always cool seeing all the Mexican curio stuff they had, stuff like salsa bowls made from pumice, figurines of the virgin Mary and candles of the patron saints for sale on the shelves. The burritos were always, and still are top notch. You would be hard pressed to find a burrito of this quality and quantity for the same price.

Mini-Market slash Taqueria. Plethora of meats. I’d give it that. Burritos are small for what they are. 6 dollars for a Super burrito that doesn’t include sour crème or cheese. Did I mention it was the size of a small crystal geyser water bottle? I recommend you driving down 2 blocks to La Costa. The burritos are 4 bucks there and are loaded with goodies.

My family gets their masa here every year when we make our holiday tamales… so for anyone looking to get masa for homemade tamales, this place is great. They also sell the chiles as well as good old-fashioned lard. Also they sell great tacos, burritos, etc… so even if you aren’t interested in doing any actual cooking on your own… you can come here for a quick meal(or take-out then pretend you made it… haha!!). It’s also like a mini-market so they have things like sauces, tortillas, fried pork rinds, chips, etc. We manage to find all sorts of fun things when we go in there… my husband loves some of the more unique Mexican goodies. Don’t expect any frills, it may not be the prettiest and the area is a little questionable especially late at night, but the food is good and their masa is great.
