My boyfriend and I have been coming here a lot lately because I’ve been trying to join in on his hobby. We’ve always had good experiences here. The workers have a very specific way of greeting customers and explaining their current promotions and new stuff or whatever, but they definitely aren’t obnoxious or pushy. If you just tell them you’re there just looking around, they’ll leave you alone. They’re nice guys! There are also always random guys hanging out towards the game boards either playing or talking about the game. They’re so passionate and knowledgeable about the game, it’s inspiring. I really don’t know if this place makes any money since it seems like more of a hangout spot than business… but I really appreciate their whole concept! I can’t wait until I’m able to play with everyone ;p

Very limited selection for a ‘company’ store. They did have one employee that seemed very good with kids teaching some young players.

This place is similar to other GW the only difference is the staff and people that go there. The staff are a bunch of geeks that come off as cheap used car salesmen who try to get you to buy things. When they figure you don’t want to spend 30 bucks on a plastic model they give you attitude and are not helpful at all. Most of the time you don’t even see them working they just joke around and play with their models. The people that go there to play and hang out are even worse, most of them obviously have little social interaction with anything other than their toy soldiers because they are rude and arrogant. Compared to other GW in the bay area this place is the worst. Other stores are more friendly and helpful but this place just pales in comparison. All in all every time I browse around in the store I feel uncomfortable and weird. The fat guy with classes Jon is probably the worst of all the staff there. I recommend going to other GW stores in Pleasanton or Alamo for better service and an overall better experience. You can also get products about 20% off online. Or at other bay area retailers. DON“T PAYFULLPRICE.

The people were nice, gameboards and paitning boards were full, and they gave me an awesome learning game. I can’t even to begin to explain how nice the people were. Go in and try a game
