5 stars. I’ll keep this short and sweet. I have nothing but love for this place. It’s a family friendly environment setting that is open to everyone for all ages and different backgrounds. Depending on the days, they have different styles ranging from breaking, housing, and funk. Though the dancers may look intimidating, they’re mainly approachable. Be sure to connect with coordinator, Bobbi, for assistance!

I love that Future Arts Now exists as a resource for young kids to be exposed to the hip hop culture. I’ve had the pleasure of having Demone, Huy and Bobbi be a part of my company’s(Go Team Mo) 3 year anniversar, last year in 2013. They had some of their students display their artwork to share with my guests as well as a fantastic hip hop dance performance to entertain. I love that FA.N. is a place where kids and young adults can explore their creative outlets in dance and music. KUDOS to this wonderful organization!

FutureArtsNow! is a wonderful Organization for youth to have a place to dance and have an active outlet. I personally go to the open sessions on Thursdays and the place is always lively! It’s in the gym at the Edenvale Community Center, so their is a lot of space to dance. People who also come are usually willing to help, you just have to ask! FutureArtsNow! also teaches kids at elementary/middle schools by professional teachers! Shoutout to Demone and Bobbi for creating this and helping spread Hip-Hop in a positive way!

It’s wonderful to see an organization that caters not only to kids, but also to adults. Not only do they help spread the love of hip hop to the community, but also the education of urban arts toward our youth. I was extremely excited to hear that future arts now was offering classes at Edenvale community center! Specifically, waacking classes which is not only rare to find. But also rare to find an instructor who knows their stuff!!! Their staff is professional and laid back, and you can tell that they love what they do, and that they’re passionate about what they teach. From the greeting right when you walk in, to the teachers during class… This is not what I would expect from a community dance class… It’s beyond my expectation! Drop in rate for their classes that run Monday-Thursday is only $ 10 for all levels. And they hold open sessions for all ages about 3 days a week for $ 3. NOTBADATALL! You get the space… the music. And you get to meet other dancers! All in all, I wish there was something like this when I was growing up! I’ll be coming back soon for more classes, as will I also be recommending FAN! To all my friends and their kids! Ps: shout out to Michele King for being an aweeeesomme waacking teacher! :) Kudos to the Future Arts Now team for being awesome and crafting such a dynamic company!
