Turtle Breads! I saw a picture of a bread in a shape of a turtle on another website, and I had to have one! My sister went to the bakery and bought a $.50 bread. OoOO… the turtle was so cute! The crusty yellow topping reminds me of a Chinese pineapple bun. Anyway, the turtle looked incomplete though as it had the shell, four legs, and a tail. Maybe the head wasn’t molded correctly, or I could have mistaken the tail as the head. The turtle bread was pretty good. It was moist and buttery, but slightly dense. This bread will definitely satisfy any cravings for a sweet tooth. It’s not overly sweet, but just the right amount of sweetness. My sister says that it smells good whenever she passes by the store. Next time I go to SJ, I want to go in to take a peak at the other baked goods.
