Faye Liu

Faye was referred to us by a friend, who bought house not long ago with the help of Faye. So Faye became our agent. In a couple of months, with her help, we bought our dreamed house in the Bay Area.
Faye is professional, knowledgeable of her job, warm, patient and honest. She has a mild temper and we feel very pleasant to work with. She provided us housing info, went to open house at weekends, and sometimes at weekdays before open house, or sometimes late evening or at night. I was too busy at my office, so Faye’s working style made it easy for me, appreciated.
What we also like Faye is, she never pushed us for a decision, but just did her job. Of course we did our own homework as well, so we didn’t bug her unless we are serious of certain house. Faye’s price analysis is pretty accurate so we trusted her due diligence.
Faye responded our requests timely. I would say about 70% time I got immediate response, another 20% time reasonably quick in a day, and maybe 10% time the next day if I’m not urgent, which is fair enough to me. In a friends gathering, we met her family and we liked her cute kids.
Faye spent quite some time explaining to us the procedure of bidding and buying a property, which I find very helpful. Her fluent bilingual is also very convenient to me. I have a couple of friends who have kids working in Bay Area and may consider buying house here, and if so, I will recommend Faye to them.

I had the misfortune of working with Faye Liu who works at Landmark Real Estate & Financial. The problem I had with Faye was that she was not responsive and had trouble communicating clearly.
I think this was exasperated due to taking care of family matters. We all have family matters to attend to but we are professionals and need to respond in a timely manner. Plus her unresponsiveness happened quite a lot. When she would respond, she would give an incomplete reply. Contacting her on phone was also difficult.
If this is not enough, she seems to have a temper and tends to snap.
In the end we felt she was doing us a favor by being our realtor and decided to part ways.
