Fast Pizza and Yogurt

I have been going to fast pizza for probably 15 years now, mine and my brothers favorite local place. After reading reviews on here i was scared to order a pie from here again but i just cant justify paying $ 20+ for a small pie from these other spots. Ive never had a negative experience, the worst thing that has happened is i called and no one answered. So i just called back later and got my pizza. Im pretty sure the same guy was having to cook, take orders and deliver all on his own so I wasnt trippin off him. Just called to order today 6÷17÷16 and a young lady answered the phone, she understand everything i said and i understood her, she was very friendly and they will deliver my $ 15.95 medium pie where other places only deliver for orders over $ 20. The lady was super friendly, told me have a goodnight and in no way shape or form was rude or off putting. I will always love this pizza place!
Edit: I ordered my pie at 7:04 and it was delivered to me at 7:29 (granted i live down the street) pizza was hot on time, delivery man was super friendly kept calling me boss and the pizza is as good as i remember. Im a big round table fan but Fast Pizza won me over as a cost effective option that tastes better than most pizzas ive had!

This was our first visit to Fast Pizza & Yogurt. We ordered the extra large Combination Pizza, I have to say that this was the best Pizza I have tasted in 30 years!.

The owner thinks people of darker complexion can’t afford his pizzas. I walked in last night hoping to get a slice of vegetarian pizza. The owner tells me they’re out, even though they advertise on the front of the shop. I say OK, I’ll order the large vegetarian pizza instead. His response: that might be too expensive for you, you might to try 7 – 11, they’re cheaper. I guess he thinks Indian folks can’t afford large pizzas.

I love this place. Friendly staff and always on time. Not to mention the price is on point. A XL pizza for under $ 28 n the pizza is really good to

Good food… but god damn they need somebody who can clearly speak and understand English… I would give them four stars if it wasn’t for their customer service

Pizza was good. Customer service was terrible. I ordered 3 pizzas for delivery. I was told the bill was $ 35 and the pizzas would be there in 35 minutes. The pizzas were about 15 minutes late and after I called, the delivery person finally arrived. The bill wasn’t $ 35. It was $ 46 and of course the delivery person didn’t have change. So — they got a $ 14 tip and a solemn vow from me that I will NEVER give them any business EVER AGAIN. I had been really rooting for a local business. And I got burned.

So, overall, and for the price, pretty good. I ordered the honey wings and a Hawaiian pizza, came within 45mins, through eat24 (ordered using PayPal,) so all I had to do was open the door and eat. Definitely worth checking out for quick, i need to eat, dont feel like moving… Type of night.

Our third large combo pizza with fresh garlic and Xtra sauce and they get better everytime! Delicious!!!
They are very friendly and sweet

Is it weird they serve banh mi at an American place? And they «can’t» make it vegetarian, like leave out the pork? Ordered a smoothie, watched lady make it, horrified to see how much sugar she added. Smoothie tasted like nothing, but sugar. All the people working were vietnamese ladies and 1 white guy when I went. They were nice, but not the food… no thanks

if you can get through the language barrier without hanging up lol… the pizza is good!

Great as always. It has been a while since I have been here but they have updated the place and it looks better. They have water from kragen which is filtered water system that tastes so fresh! I like!

I hate to do this, but the «new» Fast Pizza and Yogurt has lost a few stars :(In my opinion it’s not as good as it used to be.
The pizza is still tasty but it’s not substantial (see the picture i loaded of our super thin peperoni pizza). I’m not opposed to thin crust pizza, but the size of the slice should be large in proportion. The pizza we had last night was SUPER thin crust and the slices were tiny. I could have easily finished an entire medium pizza by myself.
And, i can’t believe I’m complaining about this, but it’s almost suspiciously fast… there’s NO WAY they are making these pizzas fresh (my mom was convinced it was frozen). I don’t believe they gave us frozen pizza but i think they might be cooking it at a SUPER high temp to speed up the process, which gave us overcooked cheese and dry (not fresh) tasting toppings. I would rather wait a little longer and have a really yummy pizza than get an average pizza really quickly.
Also, it’s just bad business to have someone answering the phone who barely speaks English. I could not understand what she was saying to me when she read my order back (and had to ask her to repeat herself twice). This wouldn’t stop me from ordering from a place, but it just seems like common sense to have the person on the phone be someone who communicates clearly.
I probably won’t be making any return trips to this location any time soon.

This place sells pizza and yogurt. I got creative and put yogurt toppings on my pizza. Pepperoni pizza with rainbow chocolate sprinkles… Yummy!

We had their Hawaiian pizza and we have to say the pizza was very good. The crust reminded me of New York thin crust with a nice light and chewy ends. The sauce was fresh and slightly sweet. The Hawaiian style toppings of ham and pineapple was just the right amount and was good.
We will definitely order their pizza in the future. If you live in the area., come and support your local neighborhood pizza joint.

I went to school at Piedmont Middle and I remember the first time I walked into the dingy Fast Pizza Delivery restaurant across the street. How good could a pizza place be whose name is basically a simple description of what they sell/​do? I wouldn’t trust a fast food place called Fast Hamburgers and Fries.
Regardless, I tried it out and I really liked it. What I liked was that the sauce tastes really fresh and tomato-​y. I also like that there’s a lot of sauce. At a lot of pizza places you can barely taste the sauce over the massive amounts of cheese and toppings that they throw on the pizza. Not the case here.
I was sad when they closed down but it turns out they were just renovating and they have returned under new management. It’s owned by two friendly Vietnamese guys. They seem pretty excited about their business and they’re having a bunch of cheap promos for the first month.
They also have froyo machines which aren’t up and running yet.
Try their pizzas if you like your pizzas more saucy than cheesy!

I wish I can give this place NO STARS!!!
Lets start by saying that my grandparents and myself were LOYAL customers of Fast Pizza for 15 years… UNTIL NOW!!! (Keep in mind, I was not rude with anyone, but I was stern.)
First, I called to make a delivery order and the gentleman who was taking phone orders was completely rude and rushing me with attitude, saying «WHAT do you want on your pizza? Is that ALL? [Sigh] And WHAT about your soda? Are you DONE?! Fine. Fine. [sigh] Okay. Okay. Yeah. Done? ARE YOU DONE? [sigh]» and so on…
THEN, the pizza was supposed to be delivered in 20 minutes (since my grandparents only live 2 minutes from the place) and it arrived OVER AN HOUR LATER. Not to mention the guy delivering the pizza was completely RUDE, swung my door open and SNATCHED the money out of my hands!
AFTER, I realized two out of the three pizzas were WRONG! … and that is when I decided to call. I waited on the phone for about 3 minutes and then someone answered. The same gentleman who first answered my call and was the delivery guy answered the phone. He was even more rude to me and was still trying to rush me off the phone. Not to mention he did not give a rats butt about my concerns. I told him I would like to speak with a manager or owner and he kept telling me there were not there. He said Sunday. I asked what time Sunday, (so I could call and speak with them and let them know from myself of my unpleasant experience). He then tells me that I can just tell him and I explained that I would like to speak to the owner or manager. He asked, «AND WHO ARE YOU?» I said «I am a paying customer.»
He CONTINUED to be extremely rude to me and told me he was too busy for anything. I explained that I just wanted to know what time the owner would be there. Then, as I was trying to explain my situation, he HUNG UP ON ME IN MID-​SENTENCE! (This conversation only lasted about 2 – 3 minutes) So what did I do you ask…
I went right down to Fast Pizza and asked to speak to an owner or manager. The only person working at the time was a lady who spoke NO English whatsoever! I basically had to wait ten minutes for the SAME GUY to come back. All in the meantime, the phone was ringing NON-​STOP!!!
Once the guy gets back, I asked for him to call an owner or manager, so I can speak to them, or to give me their number. He proceeds to interrupt my, be rude once again and try to rush me out the door. He tells me that I can tell him and he will tell them. I said that I would rather speak to them personally because of my concerns with my experience (PLUS he is the one I had a bad experience with, so why would I trust him to tell the owner?). I explain my horrible experience mid way and get cut off.
He then asked the address. I tell him and he says «Yes. Those are my long time customers.» I said to him «I understand that. They are also my Grandparents; that is why I am here. I want the owner to know of our experience.» He keeps telling me that, and I quote, «I am TOO busy to help you!» [Pssshhh. Too busy to help me?! Helping me is part of your job!] I explain to him the horrible customer service I have received, plus everything else, so I would like to let a manager know.
He continues to interrupt me and keeps tell me that «They are long time customers». I say again «Yes, I know. They are also my grandparents.» He replies «I know. They are MY customers.» Which makes me reply with «No, you do not know, that is why I am telling you this. With that said, my Grandparents, who have been loyal customers for 15 years now, will NO LONGER be doing service here. I will also be telling everyone I know of my horrible experience and tell them not to do service here either.»
By this time we are getting no where, so I ask one final time when will the owner be in and what time. He tells me Sunday afternoon, around 5. Before I can even finish my sentence of letting him know I will be back, he continues to tell me that he is too busy to help me. I finally get my sentence out and he tells me «OKAY. Fine. Goodbye. I’m busy. Bye!» (The entire time I was in Fast Pizza, the guy NEVER ONCE tried to apologize, say sorry or even try and compensate me in some way. He did not try to help me; NOT ONCE!)
I AM UTTERLY APPALLED BY THE COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE FAST PIZZA HAS! I HAVE NEVER, EVER BEEN TREATED IN THIS MANNER OR HAD COSTUMER SERVICE THIS FLIPPIN BAD!!! YOU CAN GUARANTEE I WILL NEVER BUY FROM FAST PIZZA AGAIN AND NEITHER WILL MY FAMILY NOR CLOSE FRIENDS. THEY LOST ONE OF THE MOST LOYAL CUSTOMERS THEY EVER HAD; MY GRANDPARENTS. FAST PIZZA WOULD GET NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD GIVE THEM!!! WHAT A SHAME! A COMPLETE SHAME!

Like the Unilocal rating scale says, this place is A-​OK.
I live not far from here, but can honestly say I’ve never been inside the location, nor do I really know where it’s located. BUT! We eat their pizza at least once a month, and we never complain about it. Sure, sometimes it’s not so fast, but I swear, the pizza is always hot, and always tastes fresh.
My favorite thing from this place is their creamy garlic sauce. I think it’s better than round table! We get coupons in the mail all the time and we always use them. Even if we’ve thrown out the ads, we always know what coupons they offer, and since the driver never asks for the coupon, we just say we have one — 2 large, 2 topping pizzas and an order of garlic bread OR 2-​liter of soda for $ 22? Dude! You can’t beat that…
The guy on the phone is sometimes hard to understand, but he’s usually pretty patient. I don’t know how late they’re open, but I do know we’ve ordered pizza after 11pm on a Friday evening and gotten it within 30 minutes.
Give it a try. I’ve never been disappointed!

First of all they are fast — no doubt about it!
Secondly the pizza is not bad, acutaully its pretty good for how fast and cheap it is.
Also we had them deliver at nearly midnight one time. I’m not sure how late they are open but I got the impression that as long as people were ordering they were up late delivering.
Be patient on the phone, english does not appear to be thier first language :)

I’d taken a 10 year hiatus from going to this place. Then I decided to give them a try again. My lady and I wanted pizza but didnt feel like leaving the house, so we call them up. The guy on the phone was rude, in a hurry and hung up on me once. I called back to confirm the order and amount and was met with his rudeness once more.
At this point, I wanted to cancel and just call up Pizza Hut, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt that the pizza would make up for his apparent bad hair day.
With a name like Fast Pizza, you would think they would get there within at least half an hour to 45 minutes to live up to their name, right? Try a little over an hour. I dont know if it was because I was hungry or what, but by the time he got to the door, I was fuming from the delay. The delivery driver may as well have been the same guy on the phone, cuz he was rude as well. I let him know about the rude guy on the line and it was probably him, cuz he didnt seem to care. So I left him no tip for his bad service and taking over an hour to deliver a pizza a mile down the street. I could have walked there and back in the time it took for them to get to me.
And it was cardboard pizza to boot. I could have saved my time, my money and my blood pressure from just buying a Totinos. Highly unreccomended on all service levels.
