Okay so before my bad experience with this nail place, I use to come all the time. This would be my go to place. However, one day I entered the place and a women right away greeted me and asked me what I wanted. I answered and said acrylic nails. From all the previous times Ive been there, I always would say acrylic nails and they obviously would know I was talking about fake nails. Well she sat me down and started right away. A few minutes in, the lady was soaking my hands in water, cutting my cuticles, and shaping my actual nails. Keep in kind I have been getting my nails done for a very long time and never has someone done this before actually glueing the fake nails on. Well I didn’t think much of it at that time, I just assumed she had a different method of prepping for fake nails. In fact, I asked the lady while she was shaping my nails if she was going to put on fake nails after. She replied with a yes. WELL, the lady then grabbed the color I chose and began to put it it on my actual nails. I stopped her half way in the first nails and told her I wanted fake acrylic nails not a manicure. She then said it was my fault I didn’t specify what I wanted, that I should of said fake nails, instead of acrylic nails. It is the exact same thing, I thought to my self. The lady obviously didn’t understand english well enough or didn’t hear me because she had the owner translate what she was saying most of the time. Anyways, she finished doing the nails and they were okay. It was nothing too amazing just basic nails that were not executed correctly the first time. Well when it came down to paying for the service, the total of the set were $ 30 but then she tells me that its an extra $ 5 for cutting my cuticles and shaping my nails. OOH NO NO NO ! I was furious when she told me that. I asked why she was going to charge me for something I didn’t ask for. It clearly was her mistake for misunderstanding me but she still wanted to charge me for something I didn’t ask for. Her excuse was that the owner of the place told her she had to charge me. After, her mistakes and unfairness I did not want to continue arguing so I just paid what they told me. Since I was so mad for being charged for a mistake that was not my fault, I just pulled my money really fast, which was all folded up and handed it to her. So after giving her the money, I walked out to my car and drove to the exit. Once I was at the exit I remembered that I had given her $ 10 extra dollars that were attached to a $ 5 bill, I handed to her. I obviously was not going to leave her a tip after everything she did. Well I backed up and parked again, I walked in to the place calm and nicely told her that I had given her $ 10 extra dollars and that I wanted them back. She starts yelling at me telling me, I didn’t give her anything extra and that she only counted what the amount was suppose to be. I kept my calm through out the discussion because I was aware that it was my fault for not counting the money correctly but I clearly did not give her the money as a tip or else I would have told her. The owner then starts telling me that the lady only handed her $ 35, which was what I owed. Well i told her that I don’t know what happened to those extra dollars but that I wanted them back. After a few minutes of discussing with the lady and the owner, this old man who does not even work there, i think he was like a friend or family of the owner, comes up to me and asks me what was going on. I told him everything and of course he starts telling me that there is a LAW that says once I leave the building, the money cant be given back to me. Well I told him that I didn’t even leave, that I was just outside when I noticed. I mean I knew the old guy thought I was going to believe there was a «LAW». like yeah right! He even asked me for my name, i was not going to give it to him. The lady was getting so overwhelmed she stood up angry and handed me my $ 10. I took the money said thank you and left. I didn’t get why she could of saved myself and herself the time and energy of arguing and just have given me my money at first. I was not rude to her so she didn’t have a motive to not give me my money but why deny it when she clearly knew I gave her more than I owed. It just shows how dirty they are at this place. They just take your money, they charge you for every little thing even if its their mistake and they don’t do the right thing and return your money if you pay more than owed. I haven’t been back since then nor will I ever be back! So save your money and go somewhere else, where they don’t take your money!

I really think its a hit or miss. Some places have their days. I have been here and LOVED my nails and I have been here and hated them. lol. It depends on who does your hair. Sadly yes ive been here an hour before they close and they are rushing and its annoying. but Overall its a hit or miss.

The worst, before it used to have good personnel, but now one of the ladies that does eyebrows really suck, you tell her to do it one way and she does the total opposite and she wants to make it her way. Totally not happy with my results.

The store owner Rosi was so rude she yelled at me because I didn’t like the way the design came out and she said it was my fault it came out like that and she also said she was never going to do my nails again… if I paid $ 35 for nail I think I have a right to my opinion if I didn’t like!!!

Only one star because the lady did my nails within an hour, everything else about this place sucks. A third of the workers are young and lazy and the other half are rude old spinsters. The lady doing my nails forgot how I wanted it and didn’t even change it, the guy working there is rude, useless, and doesn’t even know how to take phone calls. Try to avoid this disaster of a «full service salon»

if I could give this place no star I would. I came to get a mani & pedi last night only to be called «FAT» by Tran. My response to her was «yes I am FAT, & I’m pregnant» she laughed and didn’t apologize. She was very unprofessional I mean how can you criticize a customer when your actually paying for service.
I will NEVER come back, horrible customer service.

Rosi is the best!!! Love my nails!!! Oh and the only guy that works there he does an amazing job as well!!!

So I was in desperate need of a fill was in san jose saw this place was packed thought it was obviously good well i was wrong the lady cut me not once but two fucken times! Im bleeding and shes more concerned about the cleaning rhe equipment than me im worried im gonna get a staph infection now my fingers are red and painful fuck this place!

Went in yesterday to get a full set and pedi. As the lady was doing my pedicure this girl tina asked me how i wanted to get my nails done. I told her i wanted color powder and she said gel was mucg better because i had a baby. (I was holding her) i told her no that i wanted powder. She got her equipment and started doing my nails at the spa chair which was not appreciated by me because my baby was falling out of my hands. I finally hand her over and she moves me to her chair. She tells me to pick a gel colir and i told her once more i did not like gel. She told me again it was much better blah blah blah. I finally got mad and told her if she didnt want to do my nails how i was tellinh her that i wanted someone else to finish. I got up and walked away and she walked over to me and was yelling in my face that i never told her i wanted powder. Rosie had to get up and tell her to stop and she continued to yell at me. Rosie finished my nails with gel polish because tina messed them up and i could no longer get powder. After all was said and did they still charged me $ 35 for something i didnt even want.

I was in there last night for a pedicure and manicure and they were rushing because they were getting ready to close. So as I was getting a pedi a woman was working on my manicure standing next to my seat.
First, she cut my nails without measuring to see if they were the same length as the other hand, basically eye balled it so now they’re all different lengths and shorter than I normally like them. ugh
Then, the most annoying thing, she was filing my nail & in such a rush she FILED OFF MY SKIN on one of my fingers! It hurt so bad, still does! Then just kept apologizing & telling me I shouldve came in earlier. Umm if you were in such a damn rush you shouldn’t have been working on my nails in the first damn place! Smh
No massage after. Just ready to go! I’m so disappointed, no customers should be treated that way. If you don’t have the time, simply say so. Anyways, this place sucks. Will not be returning here.

I came in for a gel and the girl ground my nail down like I was getting powder! Now my nails are super messed up and crazy thin. It’s awful. The polish didn’t even last long.
They also had deceptive marketing, first telling me the gel would be $ 15 and then after I sat down and we got started she’s like, ‘oh and if you want a manicure too then that’s an extra $ 10′. Wow really? I probably would have gone somewhere else. I can get a waaay better job elsewhere for $ 22 or even $ 25 and they don’t screw up my nails.

Omg my sister was in there with my 4 month old niece and the only short little guy who does nails An through a fit like a b**** threw a chair and food and scared my niece he’s lucky I was not there with her!!! The OWNER Rosie did nothing about this this is not the first time he’s acted like a b**** hey the owner allows it so why would he act any different I WILL NEVER GO BACK I was a faithful customer for the last 4 years!!! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

My fav place 4 my pedi my nails and wax only thing is the wait I usually ge there early if not the take forever hate making a appointment cause I’ll still be waiting … rosie or an do my nails my fav ppl there … prices are good just all depends on what u want

I used to really like this place before because of the prices and they USED to do a really job before. Now every time I come here either they are rushing to finish or take way too long! Aside from that it seems like they are always talking in their language about the customers. Will not be coming here anymore. I’d rather spend an extra $ 10 and make sure my nails look better at other places.

First customer in at 9:30 am at D&N NAILS and they aren’t ready to do my nails so I sit and look for a design. Just as the guy is going to start he gets a call. It was his 9:30appt. It’s now 9:48am. They say they’re going to be 10min late. Meaning they’re not going to get here till 10am. So why does he say he’s got to take her when she gets here cause she has an appt and she called. Yeah. Her appt was at 9:30 and she called at 9:48!!! That’s Bullshit! I stayed till 10am. Still no nails were done because he decided to get up and waste time for 10 min. Girl walked in right at 10am. I WAS a long time customer and always referred people to them! NOT ANYMORE!!! This is going on Unilocal and FB! Unless you want to get tossed around to less than mediocre people DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! time to give my business and money to a new place!

Good for nails/​pedi depending on who you get. Ahn is great but always busy cuz everyone wants him lol!

I must say i am so sad to have to write a bad review about this place. I had been coming to this place for quite a while and was very very happy with their services every time. The only reason for this was because Nina did my nails every time. She was awesome. I recently came back and they told me she no longer was working there and they would not pass along any more info. I will not be coming back here as I never liked anyone else’s job but hers and now my heart is broken as I will need to find her or a new nail spot.
I would not recommend this place without Nina to anyone. My friend went in there recently while Nina was not there and whoever did her nails left a gap between the new and old and cut two of her fingers. Wish you luck if you go in there

Used to go with Rosie all the time. since I have been doing my nails for over 6 yrs. and I’m very picky. but i don’t like how people make appts and STILL have to wait… i understand if I’m just a walk in. But even if you have an appt there is no point because you still have to wait.
I understand that she is the owner but why make an appt and have you waiting when you’re already seated to go to a wax, I know $$ is $$, but then I was on the other side. she was doing someone else’s nails and I was a walk in for a wax, and I still waited. she said 5 min. i waited over 25 min and nothing. just got up and left and never went back.
I was a loyal customer until then, she just wants to do so many things at once and it just makes her loose customers since she has lost me, my mom, and a couple of friends that I had referred to her but went through the SAME problem I did.

Rosie is the best! The thing I like about this place is not only are the nail techs creative but there are thousands of different powders to choose from with hundreds of different gradients, sparkles, rhinestones, flowers, add ons and textures. I love this place
