I was literally forced to go here with my boyfriends friends. It was a Sunday night around 8 and we had plans to eat at the claw shack but the wait was super long and guys refused to wait so they wondered over here. Typical asian place with tacky lighting and vietnamese karaōke. We ordered a few beers and was completely surprised to see that each entrée on the menu was $ 20 and up! Omg prices were ridiculous! We ended up ordering mediocre fried rice, beef that tasted weird, and prawns that was the only delicious thing we had. Be careful if you go here because they continue bringing beers out even though you didn’t order it. Let’s just say I won’t be coming back because it’s not my typical scene. The only positive point they get is for their friendly staff. I recommend they improve on their food preparation and prices if they want people to come back.

don’t go here. they cut throat your bill and rob you like you’re never been to a restaurant before and doesn’t know how much food cost. just got robbed charging us 3 pounds of red shrimp for $ 180. seriously???

this is great restaurant, good food good service, only one thing bother me… karaōke sound so loud and noisy… but whs the heck… karaōke bar… right…

The former «Yen Nhi Restaurant», now under new ownership & named DIEM HEN ~ translated meaning is «destination» aka «meeting point».
Finally, new ownership (after 7 years being Yen Nhi) means NEW décor, NEW faces & most crucial ~ FRESH PAINT !!
Nestled in the middle of a small business complex & competing with 2 other Viet Bars on the same corner block, you will find DIEM HEN Restaurant. This establishment has been around for over 10 years, this being the 3^rd new owner. I can finally compliment the interior décor as it finally compliments my eyes (had pink/​orange/​blue walls w/​previous owner), although I would prefer a little more lighting inside. The karoake sound system is louder yet much clearer (friendly DJ!) — it’s A-​OK ! The food is good, service is decent & there is not much pressure from the waitresses to drink with you as it is compared to the other Viet bars. The ambiance here is very mellow as the clients that venture here are mid 30’s+. There is no wild entertainment & the waitresses are decent. The new owner is a sweetheart. She works, caters to & drinks with you as like the other waitresses.
I highly recommend this place for private birthdays/​functions & is OK on my list to bring your significant other.
