Claire Del Signore, MD

Dr Del was able to see my daughter on short notice recently. She took the time to explain everything and all our options available. I felt she was able to relate to my daughter, who is a teenager, without being condescending. She has always been wonderful to all my children. Her staff is also kind and caring. I recommended her to my friends.

I like the doctor, unfortunately her front desk staff is quite unfriendly and even when it doesn’t appear to be that busy, you can expect a pretty long wait. wish they would just call me when the doctor was ready and I would drive in.

Very competent and caring pediatrician. Her office always has availability for emergency appointments. The staff is very professional and helpful. My kids don’t mind going to the doctor because of how friendly everyone there is.

Dr Del’s been really great with my son. She’s very knowledgeable, has an awesome bedside manner with my newborn and parents. Her husband is a pediatric GI doc who is very nice as well. She does have a busy practice and I’ve been able to see her for mosy of my son’s appts — however I haven’t seen her on same day appts and seen two of the other docs in the practice on those days. They were both very good. So far I am pleased with Dr Del. She’s very professional, answers all of our questions with respect, is very good with my little guy. I would recommend her to any of my family.

First — let me say that Dr. Del Signore did the correct thing clinically every time she saw my daughter. My new pediatrician and my GP (see my other reviews) both told me that I shouldn’t have overuled her.
That said, the problem was that she was trying to see too many kids too quickly and didn’t have time to explain what she was doing and why.
No matter how extensive a doctor’s training is or how impressive her credentials are, I’m not going to blindly take her word for it that she needs to stick a needle in my daughter. Since a baby needs to get stuck quite a few times that’s a lot of explanations for a pediatrician to give. She just didn’t have time to do it in the time she allotted for an appointment.
