C’est Délectable

Jenny and C’est Delectable were absolutely fabulous to work with. We recently hired them for our small wedding and went a more non-​traditional route for dessert. My husband and I are not huge fans of traditional wedding cakes, so Jenny was able to create a custom dessert using flavors we loved.
She created a 3-​tiered cake that we were able to cut for the custom bride/​groom. However, instead of serving that cake, she plated individual cakes for our guests, which was a huge hit. The flavor (peach almond crunch) was light enough without being overly sweet and hit the flavor palate on all levels.
In additional, since she is trained in french desserts, we requested small gift boxes of macaroons for our guests. Our guests absolutely raved about these macaroons, which was just the cherry on top of the cake.
If you are looking for a small local business who will help make your day perfect with a custom design, I would HIGHLY recommend C’est Delectable! We will definitely be using them for any future events!

Jenny is really great to work with — very responsive and accommodating. Last minute, we decided to do a dessert table for our wedding and Jenny executed a lovely spread. It was also really nice of Jenny to prepare a small box just for the bride & groom, or else we wouldn’t have been able to try any of the treats she brought. She was also gracious enough to setup the dessert table with other items (I had another vendor supply cupcakes, etc). The table was lovely — Jenny supplies mirrors and stands and labels and I just added some additional touches to fill the table. Like others have said, Jenny actually sketches what the table will look like before the event, so you have an idea. She is super on top of things, and you can be sure it will turn out beautifully.
I will, however, say that overall, the desserts are not top notch — so don’t expect Pierre Herme level macarons or desserts worthy of Dominique Ansel. I heard from guests that coconut cakes were dry, the cream puffs weren’t that great (you can probably get better cream puffs at a Vietnamese bakery). Our mac tower was beautiful and a real showstopper. The tower had incorporated the colors that I had asked — but the fillings and flavors were sugary and not as pronounced as I would have liked.
I like Jenny’s aesthetic, vision, and her work ethic, but think that her technical skill could use refinement.

Jenny did our desserts for the wedding and everything was perfect! She worked with us to create a menu that was within our budget, that include a macaron tower, tartlettes, and cream puffs, and also designed a table spread that looked beautiful on the day of. The desserts were so delicious! We had them the day after too, and they were still delicious. She is wonderful and friendly to work with! Highly recommend.

Jenny did a great job for our wedding. We had a macaron tower and a small cake on the side for cutting. They tasted great and our guests loved them.
She even discussed the whole cake table layout with my wife and helped us set the whole table up on the wedding day with our pre-​made decorations.
Our wedding was out doors so she prepared them so that they would last out there all day.

Got macaroons, cupcakes, and other pastries from Jenny for a wedding event. Service and tasting was great, but on the wedding day, when I had the same desserts, I was disappointed. Thought the cupcake frosting was too salty (wasn’t salty during tasting). Also, all the macaroons seem too sweet and I couldn’t finish mine.

I hired Jenny to make a macaroon tower for my wedding in lieu of a wedding cake. She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, not only did she deliver the macaroons but she set them up on the tower and got them ready for the reception. We chose six flavors and she coordinated them with our wedding colors, they were delicious and a big hit with the guests. Her prices are also very reasonable in comparison with other macaroon shops. We highly recommend her, both for her professionalism and her talent.

C’est Delectable has awesome customer service — great response time. And the macaroons I ordered were delish!

Hands down the best desserts!!! She does a great job creating beautiful desserts for everything from Birthday parties to Weddings.

Absolutely scrumptious macarons! Jenny really knows her craft. Her desserts and pastries are to die for. She is a pleasure to work with and is always experimenting with new flavor combinations and ideas. I most definitely recommend her and C’est Delectable for any event or occasion!

French macaroons are the best here and for a very good price! I emailed on wednesday and the owner emailed me back immediately letting me know she could deliver the day after. She delivers to the San Jose area. Way better than the macaroons at Cocola and Sakura! And a lot cheaper. The flavors were very exquisite! Tried chocolate, raspberry, pistachio, green tea, mango passionfruit, cassis, and chocolate mint raspberry. Yum!!! I enjoyed chocolate the best!

My mom came home with a box of macarons one night and I couldn’t help but sneak a few! The chocolate macarons had a subtle twist which brought originality to the classic flavor. These macarons are absolutely delicious and I have been dreaming of them ever since :)
