Carter Avenue Christian Pre-School & Year-Round After Care

I really love this school! My 4 year old son has been attending for almost 6 months now and I have seen some very positive changes in him. I just wish I would have started him much sooner (age 2.5 or 3).
The school is very clean and well organized. The staff is so sweet and informative. They are also very easy to talk to.
There are many positives with Carter Ave, but one of them is the fact that they don’t have too many dates they are closed (It makes it easier for working parents).
I would definitely recommend this school to anyone look for preschool for there little one. In fact I will be starting my other son there who is 2 years old in the fall! Thanks Carter Ave you guys are the best!

Great summer program! My son loves this place. Rachel is great and very friendly to the kids.
The entire staff is great! Weekly fieldtrips, water days, swim days, all tons of fun!

This is an amazing preschool! My three oldest kids have all attended, and within the next year or so, we plan to start my youngest. The classrooms are well organized, clean, very cute and have a wide assortment of activities for the children. The teachers are excellent — kind, knowledgeable, and very loving. Also, their educational philosophy is evidence based and focuses on providing the kids ample opportunities for learning through play. That’s not to say that they don’t do any academics — when my son was in the Pre-​K classroom, he was always coming home with new skills and knowledge. The director is amazing and really knows her stuff. The teachers follow proper safety procedures when they don’t recognize someone. The outside play area is amazing as well… a huge lawn, two play structures, and lots of outdoor toys. I can’t say enough good things about this school! We have been so privileged to be a Carter Ave. family!

My daughter had an awesome experience at Carter Avenue Preschool. The teachers are excellent — caring, nurturing, organized, happy attitudes, fun and funny, aware of how every child is doing. The play area is great and the teachers are vigilant in supervising the kids even as they play along with the kids. The director is very personable and professional. I would highly recommend this preschool.

There are not enough positive words I could use when describing Carter Avenue Christian Pre-​school. Truly.
My daughter was enrolled at another pre-​school from age 3 – 4 and she cried for me to stay at least twice every week until we decided to look for someplace new. It wasn’t that the first school was bad but she definately needed something more/​different to fuel her. We searched a few of the Montessori’s in the area as well as other pre-​schools and decided on Carter Avenue. It was the best decision we could make.
After the first day we new we had made the right decision. She never again cried or even asked me to stay. She was happy to be there with her friends, in a comfortable and loving environment. She was greeted daily with hugs from all of the students and the hugs were repeated when she left. The play area is a wonderful place, safe and clean. The teachers remained in contact with us in regards to her progress and, at the end of the year, she was prepared for Kindergarten.
We love Carter and strongly suggest you go see them!

My son went there for the whole (08 – 09) pre-​school year. My family and I were treated with the up most respect. The teachers here take great pride in every child. They are amazing. Carter and all of their teachers are like a dream come true. I have and will continue to recommend this pre– school to everyone. The thing I loved most about this school was that they thought my son a great balance of religion and everyday social basics. I am very very very sad to leave Carter. I will especially miss the Good Morning Pearl, Mrs. Rachel gave me every morning.

My Daughter is graduating from the preschool this year. I am sad to leave and I’m sure she will be too. Our family was lucky to find the school and our daughter has loved every day that she has attended. The staff is excellent. Loving, caring and patient. The facility is in great condition, just completing a renovation and the playground is big and full of fun for all of the kids. Mrs. Rachel is a dream come true. I love her «good morning’s» and know that my daughter is in great hands the moment I drop her off in the morning. The mix of Preschool and the religious education that they get is awesome. My daughter has been exposed to a religion and I hope that I can continue to provide her with that. She really does enjoy chapel and reading about God and everything involved with what they teach them.
Thanks Carter for being a HUGE part of our lives and I hope that I can give back in someway.
