Newly renovated in the year of 2013. Quite new and clean, but small in space and limited book selection. Staff are generally enthusiastic and helpful. It’s one of the libraries that my family like to visit.

Really Nice after the renovation. It’s a small library so not a huge selection of books but it is still a very inviting and cozy place to come to for booklovers of all ages. The staff is really friendly. And there is a wonderful park right outside: how good is that?

It’s nice that they renovated this location, but it’s still quite small, so the selection of books is very limited. Also, there is a constant machine humming noise throughout the library, so it’s not a very relaxing place to spend time in. The sculpture outside also makes weird ghostly moans, which is just bizarre. The Cupertino Library, which isn’t very far away, is much better, even if it is crowded all the time.

4 years later and the new books are printed out in 1998? the library was so akwardly designed. I hope that the city of SJ is happy with once again wasting the taxpayer dollars. Cupertino, Saratoga libraries are far superior.

Staff is always very helpful and friendly. Materials are in excellent condition(DVD, Talking Books, etc). Because it is a small library it is better to put books(materials) wanted on hold and just come to library to pick them up when notified they are available.

No matter how many times they remodel it, its still such a small library. Why do they not build 2 stories if its limited land space?

This library is slated to be opened June 2013. At least they got rid of that obnoxious canary yellow color they originally painted the main building. Ugh! Who’s bright idea was that?
