I came here for a wedding expecting, truthfully, not much as California is in a drought and well, San Jose, isn’t exactly known to have the best views especially in a drought(talk about expecting brown, brown, and more brown). Boulder Ridge did an awesome job with their drought tolerant plants around the venue and they even had a light up tree(LED flowers, I think). That drew everyone’s attention away from all the brown in the surrounding hills, and all we thought was, «Wow.» The drought tolerant plants were also blooming, which made for beautiful bursts of color in what would be all brown. The servers at the wedding were awesome, especially Mari(I hope I spelled her name right). She was attentive and cheerful! She even played along when my brother and I were singing along with the songs the DJ was playing and even shared some laughs with us! If I owned a restaurant, I’d hire her in a heart beat. She was able to locate apple cider for us(for the kids and DDs to have something to toast with) and able to find us some extra bread(for the kids). Every time we requested for something, she would come back letting us know the status: in progress, unfortunately no more, or ta da! Here it is! Everyone who is there at the wedding, including the servers can help make or break a night. Mari always had a smile on her face and she definitely made everyone in our table’s night. The kids at our table had a good time, the adults had a good time, absolutely no hiccups. Great service! Great venue! I highly recommend this place for a wedding and reception.
