This little beauty parlor is definitely a place to visit if you are in need of manicures, pedicures, brows, haircuts, or anything cosmetic related. The owner Lisa and her workers are very nice and welcoming. Appointments are a must here, considering the nail appointments take a while because the stylists take their time and are very attentive to details. One step in and you are greeted by a big smile by the owner. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of cosmetic care!

The worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. I could’ve done way better myself, and it took 2 hours for a mani pedi. It’s cheap, but will ever go again. Unacceptable. I felt bad for the old lady who did it, or else I would not have paid.

The woman who did my nails was phenomenal her name is Lisa. She spent 2.5 hours working on my nexgennails that turned out better than I could have ever hoped they would! She will take care of you and put her love and best effort forward in making your nails look perfect!

Excellent service– very accommodating. I go to Lisa for acrylic nails every 3 – 4 weeks. Very attentive to what I want & affordable. Had been to 3 nail salons before and will never go anywhere else!

Nope. They dont honor their appointments. I got there on time for my appointment and a lady that walked in a minute before me got my slot.
Update following manager’s response: I had an appointment at 10am. I arrived at 10am. A lady who walked in at maybe 9:58 (I saw her from my car) got my spot. I don’t want to make an appointment to find out that it’s a farce and the same as a walk-​in.

I have been coming to Lisa for over five years. She always does top quality work every single time. For people who complain about the décor in her shop, they are over looking the quality of her work. If you want a fancy place that does a bad job with nails– go somewhere else. Her shop is clean and they do EXCELLENT work.
Lisa cares about her customers a lot and I have never been disappointed. Make sure you call to make an appointment because she does get really busy.

I was in a panic. I was leaving for an international trip this evening, and one of my nails broke in the process. Not many nail shops are open on Sunday so I did a Unilocal search, and this place popped up nearby!
I called before they opened, around 9:20 this morning. Luckily, they answered their phone and let me come in at 10:30 am to get 2 nails fixed for just $ 5. I had them take off my gel, and apply new gel with a design on 2 nails. That took much longer than having them just repaint my nail one color. I definitely appreciated their willingness to take me in last minute.
I wouldn’t normally go to this business because it’s not as clean as the spot that I go to. It’s a hair salon/​nail shop. They’ve got funky posters from the 80’s and Christmas lights hanging up in the shop. They also have some weird design going on in the inside, if you want to call it a design? I don’t think I would come here again and frequent it as my home salon. I am grateful for them coming to my rescue today! I would have given them 5 stars for that, but the ambiance and the cleanliness just didn’t allow for me to warrant them that high of a rating. Unfortunately, the 2 white colored nails that I got done by this place didn’t hold up like I imagined. The white nails turned yellow compared to the other white colored nails that I had done at the other salon. It makes my nails look dirty, and it sure doesn’t look attractive.

I hate writing this review because the people here are so sweet but I have never had a manicure as bad as the one I got here. The first woman who did my nails took an hour and the nail polish was everywhere, like a toddler had done it! Plus, the cuticles were gross! Then another woman came to re-​do it and it took as long and was only ok. But the worst part of the whole experience is that the nail polish entirely flaked off after one day. So 2 hours of my life wasted for the worst manicure Iv’e ever had.

Lisa and Mindy where fabulous! very hard working woman and great attitudes, I brought my 4 year old daughter with me to get her nails done and they where so very sweet with her and even gave her treats! I loved my nails and I would definitely go back. Lisa stayed late to finish my nails and I really appreciated that.

I called in to schedule a last-​minute hair appointment, and they took me right away! Unfortunately, I didn’t get the name of my stylist, but she was so great. I have very long, thick hair, that’s a mixture of frizzy and straight, depending on its mood. Sometimes, it’s supermodel hair; other times, it’s lion mane.
The stylist was so careful and her attention to detail was intense. It made me feel like my hair was in really good hands. I showed her a few pictures for reference. She didn’t do any cuts without first asking whether it was what I wanted. As she cut my hair, she made some light conversation and really made the time fly by. Usually, I hate the way bangs turn out. They’re always too long or too short, too light or too heavy. This time was perfect! I will definitely be back for my next trim. My haircut was $ 25, but that’s only because it’s super long and unwieldy in my opinion.

Not very clean. They use old wore down pumice sponges on clients. I had to request a new one when I saw her start using one on me. I let her know it was against state board regulations. I doubt they sanitise every set of tools before use on a client because I saw the blue liquid container empty and when she went to the next customer as I was waiting for my toes to dry she didnt switch tools.
Aside from that, I asked for a mani and a pedi but I guess they didn’t listen because they went on to work with others and completely left out the mani. At that point I was over it and just let the mani go.
Pros: its cheap but you get what you pay for.

I was visiting the convention on business and was in desperate need of a manicure. Unilocal to the rescue!
Lisas shop is just a few short blocks from the convention center in a corner strip mall.
There is another nail/​hair salon next door so don’t get confused.
Lisas shop is clean, bright, and air conditioned.
I walked in and she ways presently working on someone and said she’d be about 25 mins, considering the place next door was an hour wait, 25 mins was nothing especially without an appointment.
Lisa was very attentive and neat. She made sure my cuticles were clean and my edges smooth.
Overall her service was lengthy but only because she really takes pride in the job she’s performing.
It was late after her closing time and she never rushed and didn’t make me feel like a burden.
She even waited with me until my über driver showed up.
My nails look awesome and they have lasted so long, I definitely do not see a hang nail in my future. Just wish she was closer.
Do not hesitate to go see Lisa, but book your appointment!

First time and I’ll be back for my nails again! The ladies are really nice and did a very nice job. Price is also reasonable! But dying your roots costs $ 150… Way too pricey in my opinion but I guess better than Tangerine?

Note that this is my first pedicure ever! Parking says 15 minutes, but if you are a customer, it’s okay. I called first before walking in. The friendly lady had me select a nail color. The actual lady servicing me was surprised I had on socks and full-​on boots lol.
There is a massage chair with a tub for your feet. The owner offered me water and WiFi. The ladies here are not at all chatty and even complimented my hair. Definitely would recommend for someone who wants a very chill atmosphere with no need for conversation!

I really love coming here! Lisa is the very best she always takes good care of me and she will work on you on till you look perfect!

Traveling in San Jose on business and needed a pedicure. Stopped into Beauty PT an was treated to one of the best pedicures I have had. The place is far from fancy, but the time they spent to ensure my feet were in tip top shape was what you do not find a lot. Two thumbs up! I’ll be back anytime I’m in downtown San Jose!

While the services obtained here may be incredible, I wouldn’t know. I walked in to have my gel nails removed and was told by the woman on duty she «didn’t have time».
I get it — maybe you’re short-​staffed, there are people in there waiting, whatever. But for a 5 minute process, you could’ve given me an option to wait. 30 minutes before you can put some acetone soaked cotton balls on my fingers? I probably would’ve stuck it out, these nails are looking rough.
On the bright side: she did give me 5 minutes of my day back to leave this review.

I love Lisa!
I walked in during the right time so she was able to do a manicure for me. She was super friendly and sweet, I could tell she’s passionate about her business.
If she takes longer than others, it’s because she understands great quality would not be achieved if it’s quick service. She is very detailed and makes sure she isn’t hurting me when she was cutting my cuticles.
I would definitely come back :)
