I just had the BEST experience getting a tattoo from James! The whole shop atmosphere was totally friendly and laid back and clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo. I will definitely be back to see James again for my next tattoo! Thank you James for making my birthday fabulous!

I got a tattoo on Friday from James and I love it!!! He does really good work. He’s also really nice, and funny I’ve gotten a tattoo on my wrist before but he made this one less painful and I was fully at ease. I can’t wait to go back to home

It was a spur of the moment decision, but I am glad that I finally checked this place out! What a great vibe and everyone was so friendly. I had two tattoos done by Sergio. He was hilarious and very talented! Now, I know «what’s up» ;) Hiram took on the challenge of drawing up a piece of art that I liked and he made it his own. It looks incredible. I love all of my new tattoos! Needless to say, I will definitely be coming here for the rest of my tattoos. Many many tattoos. Haha.

Just got two tattoos done by Sergio he did a fantastic job. He knew the size the placement and everything turned out nice. I really recommend him thanks Sergio! If your looking to get a tattoo go to Sergio.

Spur of the moment tattoo with my mom today! Drove by this place and decided to pop in. James did my tattoo while Sergio did my moms. Super welcoming here! Both of our tattoos came out absolutely amazing. Sergio and James were super friendly and it seems like a really tight group of artists. I ended up getting two more with James the same day and I couldn’t be happier. This is definitely my new tattoo spot!

The overall atmosphere of this tattoo shop can be summed up with one word: unpretentious. All the artists are extremely friendly with their clients as well eachother which brings a sense of ease and calm to an experience that can otherwise be nerve wracking to some.

Definitely recommend Crystel. She has done both of my tattoos and she did them on short notice as well:) Not only is her line work flipping amazing, her color choices/​combinations are impeccable! She definitely has an eye for what will flow together. Most importantly she was patient with me both times. She adjusted both designs whenever there was something I wasnt too fond of. Going back for any future tattoo I may want!

I’m loving my new art courtesy of miss Crystel! She is amazing at floral work and cover ups! I was in need of covering up an «ah hell nah why’d you do that tatt» and she hooked it up so you’d never even know it was there. Check her out she’s awesome !

I have been getting tattoos from Crystel for years! From my first one to my 6^th, she has been nothing short of amazing, open minded and can draw up pretty much anything you can think up. The shop is very clean, other artists, including the owner, are really cool. I will definitely be returning for my next tattoo. Make sure you get her early because she books up pretty fast!

My daughter got her her 1^st tattoo a few months ago from Art of Tattoos. We were lucky enough to have James (owner) tattoo her. I was sold within the first few minutes being there. He was beyond patient and even though it was a crazy busy night he was able to drown out the surrounding noise and stay fully focused on my daughter (as though she was the only one there).
We joked slightly to lighten up her momentarily fear of the unknown «pain» :-)
Her first comment, «oh that doesn’t hurt.» Hahaha
The line work at Art of Tattoos is perfect and «on point» …James made her first time one she will never forget.

I love this place! I’ve gotten two tattoos by Hiram and I’m already planning my third. He’s amazing! I told him what I wanted and he sketched them out for me. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get a tattoo

I went today to get a tat that I have been considering for over a decade. It was designed by my best friend and they did the design perfectly! I’m so incredibly happy with it! It’s beautiful.
The guy that did my tat was James, and he was so friendly and not annoyed by my flinching. This was my first one, and he was very cool about that. He and I chatted a bit and that helped to distract me from the pain. I was impressed that he could have gotten extra money from using numbing cream that I asked him about, but he didn’t think I’d need it. I was also impressed by him accepting my design up front and recreating it so perfectly.
The exterior of the building is a little rundown but the shop was very clean and I loved the artwork that was displayed. The other staff was very friendly, and they all answered any questions I had. I think the pricing seemed fair. Hard to say, since I never got one before.
I’m generally a big chicken, but they made it a great experience. I was leery since there were only 12 Unilocal reviews, but I definitely recommend them.

I was looking for an artist for the last few weeks as I was finishing up my design. Most people either never answered my inquiries, or did and never wanted to tell me that they would be willing to help me bring my design to life; I almost gave up.
I put a hashtag out on my Instagram, and came James, who helped me bring my tattoo into reality.
The space here is beautiful, clean, and very welcoming.
James definitely answered everything I needed to know, set up my appointment, and when I got there, he greeted me. When we got the first stencil on my arm, it was a little too blotchy, so he went out of his way to do it by hand. He made sure it was centered on my forearm and started working.
Right when I asked if the elbow was going to be really sensitive, he told me he would be starting at the worst part and working his way up into less sensitive areas. It was like he KNEW. Before he started poking me, he said, «Ready?» And I said, yes, do it, and of he went
I LOVE my experience with James; he was funny, and our conversations were entertaining enough that most of the pain went unnoticed for me. He constantly told me what he was going to do next, and when he would take a quick break to change ink color, or when he would need to wipe my arm down. No matter what he needed to do, he ALWAYS kept me included, never in the dark.
At the end of the session, I couldn’t have been more happy with the results. My design had very intricate petals and lines that needed patience, and JAMES HAS IT. We even worked around one of the petals by changing it into a violent hazy glow versus the leaves.
Out of all my regular artists that I would contact, I have to say that James made my experience the best of all.
I will ALWAYS want to come back to him.

One word… Crystel! She is the most fun-​loving, down to earth person and really gives you what YOU want! She listens to your ideas and really makes them come to life! Her work is impeccable! Her line work is incredible, her color work is beautiful and the attention to detail is not matched. She has done nearly all my work and I refer everyone I can to her as I know they will be beyond satisfied with their pieces. She is amazing and I suggest you check out her work.

I have had several great experiences with Crystel, my artist. She helped me coverup an old tattoo on my leg that I had gotten bored with. She touched up another tattoo on my shoulder to add vibrant color and a neater design. Most recently she tattooed my finger & ankle. She has serious skill, she is very patient and professional. She made sure that I was happy with my design before any work was done. The shop here is very clean, well organized and has a relaxed atmosphere. If your considering a tattoo, I highly recommend Crystel.
